Full Name: Linnéa Dalton
Nickname/Alias: Lin
Age/Date Of Birth: 23 (June 6th, 1992)
Race: Human
Occupation: Men of Letters Legacy (Guardian of Pandora's Box)
Species Group: Hunter
Play-By: Nicola Peltz
Abilities
Lin is at peak human physical condition and is well-trained in many different fighting styles, parkour, and various weapon types. She has knowledge and access to items and spells originating from the Men of Letters, though her focus is usually more physical and she tends to leave the book learning to her companions.
Linnéa has a tattoo on her upper right arm that prevents telekinesis and telepathy from being used on her. However, it does create a bond between her and the four other Guardians, enabling them to speak to one another telepathically if they are within a certain distance of one another. It also alerts them to one of the other Guardians being in trouble based on what part of the body gets a sense of extreme pain in relation to which Guardian's tattoo is located there.

Personality: On the surface, Linnéa doesn't look like much. People tend to assume that she's younger than she is, or that she's frail and weak, and that's usually how she likes it. She likes catching people off guard, particularly with her fighting skills... part of the reason she puts on this little schoolgirl facade sometimes. She's extremely well-trained in many different fighting techniques, and although she's proficient in many weapon types, she definitely prefers good old-fashioned hand to hand combat. She's quick and light on her feet and surprisingly stronger than she looks. She knows that a fight is about more than just throwing punches and kicks. It's about tearing down your opponent's defenses... both physically and mentally. Because of this, she spends time every day training both her mind and body through exercise, yoga and meditation.
One downside to looking young is that sometimes people assume she is young. She absolutely can not stand it when someone talks down to her... and having to argue with a bartender that her ID isn't fake? Yeah, not a favorite thing of hers either. Lin is usually fairly agreeable and willing to help if you ask her respectfully. But try to boss her around? Yeah, no.
In what little spare time she might have, Lin likes being where other people are. She tends to be quiet usually, and many assume that to mean that she's shy, but nothing could be further from the truth. She likes to observe other people... watch their mannerisms, the way they move, and picking up on the faintest little micro-expressions that might signify how a person is really feeling even if they don't want anyone else to know. She also very much enjoys music (and karaoke if she's drunk enough) and loves being able to relax with a cold beer and a friend. If you're someone she cares about and trusts, there's a chance you might know the real Linnéa deep down, but for the most part, she tends to be pretty private.
Lin sometimes enjoys being a little mischievous and playing harmless pranks on unsuspecting people, particularly her friends. She's also pretty good at hiding the fact that she's guilty for said pranks. She's not the type of person that people usually suspect.

History:
Nicola Dalton's first pregnancy wasn't an easy one. The entire seven and a half months of it were filled with unusual pains, bleeding, and near-losses. In all honestly, it was a miracle that Linnéa was born at all... even nearly two months early. Unfortunately, the pregnancy and delivery proved to be too much for her mother, who would have bled out and died if Lin's father hadn't acted quickly and summoned a demon, making a deal. Ten years for saving his wife.
As a child, Lin was completely oblivious to the deal her father had made, because her parents had decided to keep her out of the supernatural life. Her life was pretty normal for a little girl up until shortly after her little brother Bryce was born. That was when she had her very first encounter with something that couldn't be explained... When she watched, screaming helplessly from her bedroom window as invisible Hellhounds tore her father to pieces in the back yard.
This event traumatized her and she went weeks without speaking... barely eating... and she hardly slept a wink and when she did sleep, she was plagued with horrific nightmares about what she saw. In desperation, her mother sent Lin to live with her grandfather in hopes that he could get her back to her old self again. What he did, however, was open her up to the truth. That she was a legacy of an elite group called the Men of Letters. She learned from him not only about this organization, but about things like ghosts, demons, monsters and magic... and about how her parents had tried to keep it all from her.
Linnéa and her grandfather grew very close, and she became distant from her mother because she harbored ill feelings toward her for not being honest with her about what's really out there. She continues to live with her grandfather, training with he and other people he trusted in learning various fighting techniques... how to be a master of her own body. All the while, she kept in touch with her little brother through texts, phone calls and instant messages, but her relationship with her mother continues to be extremely shaky to this day.
When Lin was sixteen, her grandfather finally revealed to her that she had an even greater destiny than just being a legacy. She was meant to continue his work as a Guardian over Pandora's Box. This was something she considered an honor and privilege... She had a purpose for her life. A goal. And she poured everything she had into her training.
When Linnéa's grandfather passed away, she was 20 years old. She then took the oath to formerly join the Men of Letters... to take his place as a Guardian. It was then that she decided to open up to her little brother about what was really out there and put him in contact with some of the people who helped to train her. If something were to happen to her before she could continue the family line... she needed to be sure that Pandora's Box was in good hands.

RP Sample: The motion of Ellen's wave caught the corner of Dean's eye and he made his way over to her, sliding into the booth across from her. A waitress came over and he quickly asked for black coffee and 'what she's having', not really bothering with the menu because he wasn't in the mood to dilly-dally around with breakfast foods when there were more important things on his mind. "Hey Ellen," he said after the petite, middle-aged woman walked away, managing a small half-smile for his old friend that didn't quite reach his weary eyes. "You look good."
Dean cast a glance over his shoulder, reaching into his inner jacket pocket to be sure for the third time that everything he would need was in reach. It was times like this that he wished he had some way of knowing who was a demon and who wasn't short of splashing everyone in the establishment with holy water. That was just something he couldn't do, no matter how much he might want to. These last couple of years had really made him paranoid.
After scanning the room again he finally turned back around to face Ellen, leaning forward a little and keeping his voice low as he grabbed the ketchup bottle and shook it a little, making sure it wasn't empty. "So what's the 411?"
