Sylvia was born to Nicole and David Thresher, originally a happy couple, but at some point that Sylvia cannot recall - those things changed. David became violent. He became violent, often abusing Nicole - and Nicole would often take any abuse for Sylvia, sparing her from any pain for the most part of her life. Sylvia, when she grew older, assumed that this state of affairs was her fault. She thought that if she worked harder, did more, pushed more that she could fix things. So... she did just that.
Sylvia pushed her mental capabilities to the very limit. She spent most of her free time working on a variety of subjects, excelling in school. Often, Nicole would find Sylvia slumped over a desk, fast asleep with three different essays in the process. Sylvia never really had time for many friends, and often her only real friends were a pen and paper and her laptop. When she reached High School, she decided to try and be as involved in things as she could, but it wasn't to try and fix the situation with her parents anymore. Eventually she gave up on that and the new activities instead became a medium for her to discover who she was instead. She became involved in Art, Choir, Writing and Student Council. These activities led her to discover many things, in fact - one of those things being her preference when she ended up accidentally falling into a relationship with one of her few friends, Shawna on a dare... and then realized she enjoyed it and her. Greatly.
When she became 16, her father began to get worse. He began to physically hurt both Sylvia and Nicole even more, and Syl was becoming tired of it. She began having altercations with him, where he would try and "put her in her place", but she always seemed to come back or more to stand up to him. At one point, she even went to her mother. She tried to convince her to leave him, to move out with Sylvia to the town where she planned to go to College. Nicole brushed it off... Sylvia was frustrated.
In the beginning of her Senior year, she announced her relationship with Shawna to her mother finally. Her father overheard, and though he had no real reason to be angry about it, he found one. Ever protective of her girlfriend, she argued with him. And that was when her father began beating both her and her mother. Sylvia felt such rage - the likes of which that she never felt before. She let out a scream, one so loud that it blew apart the room that they were in, sending both of her parents flying into objects or through walls, knocking them both unconscious and every time she tried to speak, it only got worse. Frightened, she took her fathers keys and his car and fled from home, soon learning that she could not speak or it would be harmful to her surroundings.
About a week of driving and being a runaway, she found herself on a strange road... one that seemed to keep looping.

Revan let everything Lucy was saying hit her at once, and it felt like the feeling the Angel got when she was still powerful, when someone shot her with a shotgun. She felt terrible, like someone had punched her in the gut, or hit her with a baseball bat. She turned around and her hand went over her mouth, feeling like she was going to throw up. It was better that Lucy was dead than deserving this... No one deserved to be a ghost, the sad, sad existence.
Her throat tightened and tears began to well up, trying a hard as she could to keep from breaking down here on the floor.
She turned to Lucy, seemingly three shades paler, her hair not nearly as vibrant as it seemed to be three years ago, her grey eyes dulled to a shade of black. "Lucy... its 2013..." Revan hadn't been keeping track but she had counted three New Years celebrations since Lucy's death. Her hands went to her face and then back to her sides, her nails digging in to her palms until blood leaked down her fingers. "Three years.. I've counted. Three years I've slept alone in the bed. Three years I've drowned my sorrows I alcohol... Three years with my heart ripped from my chest without you here, Heaven and Earth becoming a living hell to me, leaving me with what options?" Revan wasn't going to lie, she had tried her hand at writing stories like Lucy, but that was the best poetry she could do, even if it was free verse.
Tears were dripping down her cheeks again now, and with the flick of her wrist the TV blinked to life and flicked to the news, where the date would be shown. "Everything I told you... Everything you thought I was crazy over, everything you would joke about... About me being an Angel was not a lie." Revan looked up at her again and then to the floor. "I m-missed you so... s-so much." Revan's legs stopped supporting her then and the pink haired woman fell on the floor, her head tilted down and her face in her hands, sobbing. She knew she shouldn't, but she felt as she did on the day of Lucy's death and funeral. Like all the life had been sucked out of her seeing the person she loved at this fate. But there was a part of Revan that was revived with this, the part of her that she had thought was buried with Lucy... Selfish as it may be to her, Revan was so, so happy Lucy was back.
