✗ when girls be touching your forehead talkin about dreams and life
Fears (At Least 2):
☬ She fears nearly every supernatural creature that she faces on a daily basis... they terrify her really... but she's the type of person to face things head on rather than running from them.
☬ She also is a little skittish around spiders... mostly they just creep her out but she doesn't panic and run away or anything.
Goals (At Least 1):
★ To live each day to the fullest and kick as much supernatural ass as she can.
Personality: Julia is a very free-spirited woman. She is open, assertive and confident. She's got every ounce of faith in herself and isn't afraid to approach people for any reason, nor is she afraid to try anything once. She is 100% her own person and, some might say she lives like she has a death wish. Nothing could be farther from the truth, however, as she loves life and tries to live it to the fullest. To Julia, this means stepping out of her comfort zone as often as possible... testing her limits and boundaries.
Julia has a very outgoing personality and, as such, interacts with a variety of people. While she tends to get along quite well with some, as many find her positive attitude rather infectious... others tend to find her irritating. Her harsh honesty and habit of 'calling it as she sees it' can make her seem rude and heartless, but anyone who spends enough time with her could easily see that Julia's just trying to be realistic... that she feels that being truthful and up-front just avoids bigger problems in the long run.
Despite the fact that she is a skilled hunter, she can be absurdly clumsy. But she's not really the type to get embarrassed easily, even if she falls flat on her face. And strangely enough, despite the fact that she's a pretty major klutz, sometimes it seems like she's got an insane amount of luck on her side...

Negatives (At Least 3):
✦ brutally honest
✦ emotionally cautious (physically, not so much)

Julia was very much a daddy's girl growing up, though her entire family was pretty close. They were an outdoorsy bunch, spending most of their summer vacations camping, boating, swimming, hiking and waterskiing. Friendly family games of basketball, volleyball and backyard football were also the norm in the Marx family, though Julia herself never played on any sort of team. When her father felt they were old enough, Julia and Julian were both given lessons in firing a gun and archery.
Ever since she was a small child it was kind of a tradition that Julia's father would secretly give her one extra little gift at Christmas... and every year that gift was a yo-yo. Between holidays she often collected yo-yos of her own, but the ones from her father were always special in some way... special to her, at least. For a few years they were nothing more than toys to her, until one day she was eight and she was randomly wandering through the house, flinging her favorite Duncan, when suddenly it shot out and knocked a small vase off the table and shattered it. She was grounded for three days because of it, but when she finally was allowed to play with her yo-yos again, she became dedicated to learning how to use it properly, and perfecting her aim. It was fun to see just how much she could do with it.
When Julia was in her Senior year of high school, she began dating a guy named Alec who was a few years older than her. Her parents were never really in full support of the relationship because of the age difference, but Julia's father convinced her mother that she could be trusted enough to make a responsible decision. They weren't happy when he proposed to her right after her high school graduation, but still they supported her. Julia, however, was so wrapped up in the relationship that she hadn't really planned much for her future. She started going to cosmetology school simply for something to do while Alec pursued his career as a firefighter. Once she got her license, she took up a chair at a local hair salon and actually made a decent living at it.
It was just under six years ago when Julia's life really changed. Two months before she and Alec were to be married, and he started acting differently. At first he was just distant and neglectful. He stopped paying as much attention to her and became less and less affectionate. Julia tried to brush it off as just pre-wedding jitters, but as their wedding day approached, he became more distant, and had even started treating her with cruelty and disdain... like he resented the idea of their upcoming marriage. By the time their wedding day had come, she was severely doubting going through with it. Despite all of the superstitions about not seeing one another on the wedding day, she had her bridesmaids arrange a meeting. Seemed there was something to that superstition after all, because it was then that Alec attacked her. She barely caught a glimpse of his soulless black eyes before he whacked her upside the head with a silver candelabra.
The last thing she remembered before losing consciousness was hearing the gunshot and seeing Alec's brains and blood splatter everywhere, tainting her dress and forever tarnishing what should have been the best day of her life. When she finally awoke many hours later in a hospital bed, it was her brother, JT, who was there holding her hand. He explained to her that he had learned about the supernatural some time prior and that Alec had been possessed. He had recited an exorcism to expel the demon, but shooting him was the only way he could think of in the heat of the moment to get him to stop trying to bash her head in. It was a heartbreaking loss for Julia, and it took her quite some time to get past the events of that day. Even though JT had done what he felt was necessary to save her life, it was difficult to forget that she had lost the love of her life that day. Eventually, however, she forgave him, and asked him to teach her everything he had learned.

RP Sample: The motion of Ellen's wave caught the corner of Dean's eye and he made his way over to her, sliding into the booth across from her. A waitress came over and he quickly asked for black coffee and 'what she's having', not really bothering with the menu because he wasn't in the mood to dilly-dally around with breakfast foods when there were more important things on his mind. "Hey Ellen," he said after the petite, middle-aged woman walked away, managing a small half-smile for his old friend that didn't quite reach his weary eyes. "You look good."
Dean cast a glance over his shoulder, reaching into his inner jacket pocket to be sure for the third time that everything he would need was in reach. It was times like this that he wished he had some way of knowing who was a demon and who wasn't short of splashing everyone in the establishment with holy water. That was just something he couldn't do, no matter how much he might want to. These last couple of years had really made him paranoid.
After scanning the room again he finally turned back around to face Ellen, leaning forward a little and keeping his voice low as he grabbed the ketchup bottle and shook it a little, making sure it wasn't empty. "So what's the 411?"
