Supernatural Speed: European vampires are incredibly fast and move in a blur
Supernatural Strength: European Vampires are stronger than most species of vampires but it also depends on their age, as they get stronger as they grow older
Supernatural Agility: European Vampires possess super-human agility. They have shown that they can move quickly, jump very high, climb, and run incredibly fast without difficulty or exhaustion. Vampires can jump with their super speed too.
Supernatural Senses: European Vampires have extremely keen senses of hearing, sight, smell, and taste that far exceed those of humans. They can hear whispered conversations, even ones in far of buildings and on phones, though most vampires typically learn how to tune out most ambient noises when it's not necessary to hear them. European Vampires can also smell blood from several meters away, and see in total darkness. These senses improve and grow stronger with age and experience as well. Their senses of taste are also enhanced, allowing them to detect the presence of drugs, alcohol, or even what the person ate in someone's blood.
Regeneration: European Vampires recover tissue from any form of physical damage to their bodies within seconds, though they still feel the pain of a wound before it heals. They can snap their bones back into place after they have been broken and have been seen to fully recover from gunshots, stab wounds, and torso impalement very quickly, so long as they had consumed a regular diet of human blood prior to the injury.
Healing Blood: European Vampires are able to heal humans by feeding them their blood, it will not turn them. The only way for them to turn is if they die while having the vampire blood in their system. If a drinks fresh blood from a vampire, a psychic and emotional bond is created. The vampire will be able to sense the location and emotions of the human.
Progeny Link: The one who made a vampire has a special link to those they create and can sense any pain or duress the progeny undergoes, and know when a progeny has died. The maker can "call" their progeny by saying their name out loud, causing the progeny to become aware their maker is calling out for them. The progeny experiences a shiver, and may be able to tell where their maker is. Lastly a maker can force their progeny to do anything they want, as long as they make what they say a direct order.
Immortality: They have the potential to live forever, which is something Elizabeth is quite content to enjoy and test how long her immortality will last.
Enhanced Emotions: European Vampires experience emotions more powerfully than humans. Emotions like love, joy, and happiness are magnified for vampires, allowing them to live life more intensely. This ability allows vampires to feel emotions at their peak regardless of their age.
Emotional Control: European Vampires have the supernatural ability to remove or dull their emotions by "turning off" or "switching off" their humanity, which is directly connected to their emotions. Doing so allows them to block out their more negative emotions, such as fear and guilt, allowing them to feed and kill without remorse, go against any opponent without fear, and relieve themselves of painful feelings such as grief, loss, depression, and shame. A vampire without their emotions is far more calculating and direct than one who keeps them on. However, the vampire can become a remorseless killer, and are almost unrecognizable from the person they truly are, as blocking out negative emotions also causes their positive emotions to become dulled or nonexistent as well. Vampires are capable of turning their humanity back on and bringing back their emotions, but it is difficult as a result of the fact that they will be bombarded with all of their repressed emotions in addition to the guilt of anything they did without their humanity (such as killing or torturing innocent people or loved ones) with enhanced intensity.
Mind Compulsion: European Vampires have the ability to influence and control thoughts, emotions, and behavior and can alter or erase memories by eye contact. They are not able to compel other vampires or any other kind of creature.
True Face: A European Vampire's true face is the appearance they are hiding under their normal human face. When a vampire's true face is revealed, the sclera of their eyes turns blood-red, dark veins appear under their eyes as the blood pumps forcefully through them, and their canine teeth extend into razor-sharp fangs. A vampire's true face can be revealed whenever they wish, but it will appear against their will whenever they are aroused by the scent of blood, or are feeling intense emotions such as fear, anger, lust, sadness, etc. A vampire's fangs are extremely sharp which gives them the ability to tear into almost any substance (including and especially flesh) and tear off limbs. A vampire's true face will appear for the first time either while they drink human blood for the first time or shortly afterward. With the fangs come the darkened veins under the eyes as well.
Weaknesses:
Animal Blood: Animal blood, while somewhat satisfying a European Vampire's hunger and sustaining their undead life, will make the vampire considerably weaker than they would be if they had drank human blood, causing their physical abilities to be inferior to a human-blood-consuming vampire, making them heal much more slowly, and making their compulsion less effective.
Excess blood: If a European Vampire drinks too much blood, they will display alcohol intoxication-like qualities (such as euphoria, confusion, stupor, etc). However the amount of blood needed for this to happen becomes larger the older the vampire is.
Blood Lust: Elizabeth has a bizarre, almost sexual obsession with blood. While she can contain it to a degree, eventually she does cave and enjoys blood both to eat and to feel on her. There's a reason why there was a rumor she used to bathe in the blood of her enemies.
Broken Neck: Breaking a vampire's neck will not kill them, but it will render them in a death like state for varying amounts of time, depending on the diet and age of the person in question.
Decapitation: Dismembering or manually removing the head of a European Vampire will result in instant and permanent death.
Desiccation: European Vampires who abstain from blood for extended amounts of time will eventually desiccate and mummify.
Heart Extraction: Removing the heart of a vampire will result in permanent death. Vampires have the strength to plunge their hands right through the flesh of humans, allowing them to punch their hand through the thorax of a person and pull out their heart. If it is a vampire who has been subjected to this, then they will desiccate upon their death, causing their bodies to become a grey, dry husk with their vampiric veins exposed all over their body.
Sunlight: Sunlight and UV rays burn vampires on contact, and prolonged exposure will cause them to burst into flames and die. However, this weakness can be mitigated by the use of a piece of jewelry enchanted with a specific protection spell by a witch for a particular vampire, though it requires the vampire to wear the jewelry at all times.
Vampire Bloodline: Should Elizabeth die, any vampires she has created will also die, as will she die if those who sired her and those before her die.
Wood: Wounding a European Vampire with a wooden weapon such as wooden bullets will incapacitate them, and it will take longer for them to heal their injuries than if the wounds were caused by any other substance. Stabbing a vampire through the heart with a wooden stake will result in instantaneous and permanent death. It's possible for a vampire to build up a resistance to the effects of wood, but it's not possible for them to be fully immune.
Silver: Any contact with silver will burn the skin of the European Vampire it touches.
The Curse of Helena - Although Elizabeth is still a vampire, her weaknesses are much more severe than a European vampire. All her advanced senses are dulled slightly. They're still enhanced, but nowhere near the strength of a fully formed European Vampire. Compulsion works but not for very long. The target often has flickering visions of truths but it lasts long enough for Elizabeth to get what she wants and get away. Her strengths are still there but horribly dulled. She's certainly supernatural but nowhere near as strong as she once was.

Personality: Elizabeth is, to put it simply, a very good actress. She can appear to be kind, warm, loving, affectionate, motherly in some circles. She's good at getting people to like her. However, she has no problem sinking her fangs into her 'friends' two seconds after shaking their hands. Elizabeth gets what she wants, no matter the cost. And she will strike down any who get in her way. She's cold, calculating and downright cruel. She enjoys torturing people in various forms, sometimes as little as emotional torture. And she especially loves when she has convinced peons to follow her and they think it's out of love. She's manipulative as all hell and she loves it.

History: Elizabeth was born in Nyírbátor, Hungary to two loving, doting parents of high blood. She was raised with them, learned how to be a proper lady. At the age of ten, she was married off to Ferenc Nádasdy at age ten and moved to the palace of Varannó five years later. It wasn't for love, but for her duty as the only daughter and heiress to the Bathory name to marry a wealthy family to ensure her lineage. Her life was pretty typical for that time period. She had several children, all of whom were married off when they were about ten years of age or so, just as she was.
As typical as it was, her life was about to take a very sharp turn. When she entered her early twenties, a charming man came to the palace. About this time, her tolerance with her husband was dwindling. Behind closed doors, he was flouncing about with women who were dying to have a taste of his wealth. Well, Elizabeth quite enjoyed having her husband cater to her whim. So when he got distracted, she sought her own entertainment out.
The man, named Frederick Volcheiv, began an affair with Elizabeth. He was charming and swept her off her feet. He was, perhaps, the only man she ever loved. Soon, a frightening truth was discovered. He was a thousand year old vampire. Elizabeth was afraid at first, but she loved him so she abruptly asked him to turn her. She would dispose of her husband and they would be free to live together forever. The charming fairy tale she'd always wanted.
She got her wish. Frederick changed her, but he fled after doing so, leaving her to learn things on her own. He had no patience to teach a fledgling how to survive. He simply wanted to toy with others. Heartbroken and betrayed, Elizabeth's heart began to ice over. In a rage from the betrayal and still stinging over the betrayal of her husband, she attacked him in his sleep and drained his blood. Her personal assistant, a witch named Helena, made it look as though he had died due to poisoning. The witch proved useful so Elizabeth spared her, promising her and her descendants peace for assisting her in the future. As such, Helena owed Elizabeth.
During her reign, she went through several husbands. And countless maids. The young women would mysteriously disappear, only to turn up later, dismembered and without their blood. Rumors began to spread that she would bathe in the blood of the women to keep her flawless complexion and her ageless appearance. The whispers simply made her smile more. She did occasionally bathe in their blood. But no one dared outright accuse Countess Elizabeth Bathory without fear of disappearing. Her world was wrapped around her finger and Helena could only watch in horror.
After a few years of this, the guise eventually began to falter. She began to get sloppy, even boastful about her crimes. Eventually, the town was able to get enough evidence to sentence her. And so, the Countess was arrested.
She was sentenced to death for her crimes. However, she found a poor scullery maid and she was able to manipulate her into trading places with the help of Helena. A spell was used so that the townspeople believed her to be the Countess. Despite he maid's cries of innocence, death was inevitable. Elizabeth watched from the crowd as the maid was hung for her own crimes. A smile of dark humor was all the maid saw of her before her untimely demise.
By this time, Helena was freed of her debt to Elizabeth. And to punish her for her crimes, she used her pendant, a family heirloom that held all the magic of Helena's family. With it, she placed a curse upon Elizabeth. All her inhuman strengths were weakened and her weaknesses were amplified. Helena stole away into the night, disappearing from Elizabeth and leaving her behind to search for the witch, desperate for the cure and angry for the insubordination.
Elizabeth never found Helena or her family ever again. She was stuck with the curse and an entire planet to search. So she began to travel, creating aliases and other well formed lies to cover her back as she began the almost endless search for Helena.
Amidst this search, she began to perfect her acting skills. She became talented at seeming to be warm and kind, a loving person to those foolish enough to think it. This allowed her to broaden her talents, using the guise of music and art to keep her travelling, never staying in one place too long.
Centuries passed and in the early 2000's, she caught wind through the grapevine that Helena's blood was still alive. However, only two of her descendants were capable of the magic needed to stop her curse. So, she quickly made her way to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with her new faithful witch companion at her side.
There is where she stumbled upon Morning & Midnight Chapter, a quaint little bar and book shop where creatures and humans alike seemed to coexist. This interested her greatly. Once there, she met Jordan Donovan . Her witch confirmed the information and he was, in fact, one of the children of Helena. And, to make the information so much sweeter, the pendant was within his possesion. This was going to work out perfectly. But she needed to get close to him. So, she threw her acting skills to use and requested to work there, adamantly, fibbing flawlessly to try to get it to work. She even tried to convince him that the pendant was something she wanted for some trite reason. It was so close to working... But...
It didn't and that infuriated Elizabeth. Jordan caught on quickly and her cover was blown. Since then, she began to hunt Jordan tirelessly, seeking his power and the pendant to get her rightful powers back.

RP Sample: In the Beginning...
Angie swept back her hair from her eyes, putting a strand behind her ear as she glanced at the map she held on the steering wheel. From her research- and digging through her grandfather's things most of the summer- she was close. The witch she was after was only a few miles away at this point. Apparently she opted to live on a farm house, away from any unsuspecting humans who would stumble over her. And anyone who was stupid enough would never be found again. After all, a thousand things could happen out in the middle of nowhere. A frown creased her lips at that. Everything was just too perfectly set up. She wouldn't be surprised if the witch answered looking like an old woman. It would be a sick sense of irony that made her stomach flip. Humor in the moment was lost to her.
Turning the black truck down the gravel road towards a distant farmhouse, Angie quickly put the map on the passenger seat. It was only a mile away, but it felt like a lifetime. With her pistol hidden inside of the jacket she wore, she quickly adjusted her hair and her appearance to look like that of a ditzy college student who had lost their way. It was the only way she'd be able to get through the door. Inhaling for a moment, she reached in her pocket and pulled out a stick of gum to chew on, snapping and popping it to get in the feel of it.
Moments later, she parked her truck beside an older car in the driveway. Apparently brooms are out of style still. she thought sourly. The farmhouse was brightly colored with a wraparound porch. It looked like a grandmother's house with the lawn ornaments and everything. Tricky witch. She moved out of the truck and walked up to the door, ringing the doorbell before looking around, feigning interest. In all reality, she was looking for any exterior telltale signs of witchcraft. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. But inside would tell her different. A moment later, an older woman answered the door curiously, smiling a bit, clearly surprised. "Hi. Sorry to be a bother, but my truck is completely out of gas and my cell is out of service. Can I borrow your phone to call a tow truck?" The older woman nodded and allowed her in. The gun in her pocket felt heavy. At least with it being a farm house, no one would know what happened. Taking her first step into the house, Angie knew that there was no more going back after this. It was just the beginning.
