Dr. Abree Van Helsing is a woman whose story has been twisted by history into little more than a fairy tail - of a man holding the role, none the less. Abree Van Helsing was a brilliant medical professional for her time, and though her medical knowledge is more than likely a bit dated now - her medical profession soon took a back seat when her son, Abraham, was killed by Count Dracula. Vowing to get revenge against the Romanian Vampire Alpha, she began hunting vampires with a furious vengeance. This led her to travelling the entire span of the whole side of the world she lived on, from Russian to South Africa, playing her part in vampires near-extinction through a furious hunt for the leech that took her son away from her - eventually finding her way back to Dracula and fighting him - for years. The conclusion of their long battle led to Helsing being turned by Dracula into a Romanian Vampire, and then buried in the walls of his castle to mummify and be left for as long as Dracula saw fit. Somehow, much like Dracula, Helsing has since rejuvenated and returned, taking the fight to her immortal enemy once more.
IC NOTES:

-She is among the few people Dracula openly calls his equals
-Van Helsing is skilled in fighting many kinds of vampires, including special kinds like the Aztec, Romanian and European
-Feel free to add on to her skillset as you see fit
-She is the only person aware of the Romanian Vampire cure, or at least has a theory for it
-As a Romanian Vapire turned by Dracula, Van Helsing's vampire abilities far surpass that of average vampires and most Romanian Vampires who were farther down the bloodline.
