If Cassidy had known how extensive the interview for today's case was going to be she would have already reserved a room and placed an order at a "take out" restaurant. If anything, these interviews should have lasted a maximum of an hour but instead she found herself sipping on coffee and nibbling on pastries, which had been courtesy of her interviewee, for doubling the time of the interview. Usually, the interviews were short and left Cassidy with more questions than she had come in with but today had been different. The man she worked with had an awful lot to say and it was for more reasons than fear. He had been convinced that what he witnessed was far more complicated than cult relations and that it involved the "something so much more darker." Cassidy, though already having a clue of what creature caused the damage, decided to let the man explain thoroughly and when he finished talking reassured him that situation would be handled, if not by her then by someone else. Despite her inability to hear she had been incredibly attentive to the man and every now and again letting her pen glide against a sheet of paper from a leather bound book, the same book she used when she scribed for a hunter group. You see, Cassidy had gotten an email from an acquaintance who had heard of the strange tragedy in Santa Fe, Texas. It had been about the strange disappearance of mothers and their children which was starting to become a pattern since early October. This information made Cassidy curious and she soon enough made her way to the current situation she is in now, posing as an investigative federal agent at a coffee shop, all while waiting for backup to show sometime around 5:30pm at Denny's to exchange information.
They parted ways just as lunch hour came to an end and Cassidy, though she didn't find it ideal, drove to a nearby Burger King. Once parked she slam her door shut and trudged her way inside to stand in front of the cashier counter. Her eyes scanned the menu for about a minute before taking a few steps forward to order. The cashier must have greeted Cassidy because the young woman looked at her expectantly. Having no knowledge of what she said Cassidy continued on with her usual routine of pulling out her ipad, finding an application to pull up, and nonchalantly typing her order. She spun the ipad around and slid it to the cashier who gazed down at the electronic item, nodding, and inputting the total. As she did this Cassidy's attention went to the miniscule screen that told her the amount she needed to pay and when the numbers added up the brunette dug into her purse for some cash. When she gazed up to the cashier she noticed that the young woman had the same expectant expression but this time colored to look as if she asked a question. Cassidy furrowed her eyebrows and tilt her head as if question her as she pulls out the needed money and hands it to the cashier. "Would you be interested in trying our yam fries? They're pretty good and only a dollar more." The girl looked irritated in having to repeat herself but Cassidy, who is much too tired to care, shakes her head and grabs her ipad as the cashier organizes the money into the cashier box. 10 minutes pass and Cassidy finds herself driving to a closeby hotel which, again, isn't her ideal place. Super 8 had been good for those who needed a place to stay overnight but Cassidy knew she'd be there for several days. Already wanting this day to come to it's end she heads to the front desk, greeting the attendant with a soft and tired smile.
She made no attempts with conversation and simply, just as she did with the cashier at Burger King, passed the ipad to the attendant. He glanced from the ipad and to the computer screen before handing the ipad back to Cassidy who thanked him in her native language. Just as she stuffs the ipad into her bag the attendant hands her the card she'll use to enter her room. Again, she thanked him but this time with a nod of her head before heading heading out and up the stairs to her specific room ( which is specially equipped for her or any other disabilities. ) When she went to her room she slide the card into it's slot and waited for the light to turn green but instead it turned red. She did this several times before giving up and heading downstairs to get it reactivated. When she reaches the office she sees someone else who is holding out a card and offering it to the attendant. The attendant is apologizing over and over again before catching sight of Cassidy and apologizing to her. She walks closer and looks slightly confused as the person already at the desk turns to look at her.

Player Note: Hey! So I didn't want to get too extensive on this post--or in general. So there are many ways we can go about this to make it work for you. My initial idea is basically that if they are another hunter your character is who's suppose to meet up with Cassidy. Her role in this rp is just to pass over all information she's acquired from research and interviews she's gotten. That way your character doesn't have to go through all the trouble. It can lead to the actual case if you'd like but I'd prefer this thread to be more of meeting, gaining acquaintances, and sharing information. If your character isnt a hunter then that's cool too. They could have had their cards accidently switched and they can go from there. Though Cassidy is tired in this thread she's generally friendly and I can see her inviting them to eat or whatever. If your character is the type to accept then maybe they get pulled into the case? Whatever is cool~ Hope you guys are interested!
