Personality: Xantiel isn't one for ambition, although some may see his goals as such. He tends to speak in a gentle tone, and is polite to most people. He's a very curious soul, and often takes risks to achieve his goals. He is generally trustworthy and honest, loyal to his friends and humanity, and rigid in his interpretation of "The Mission"; protect and preserve humans at all costs. He tries to find the good in people, though he is by no means an optimist. His social skills aren't something to brag about, but he knows his way around a conversation. He makes logical decisions, but occasionally lets his heart get the better of him; usually, his emotions are very stable and kept in check.

History:
Xantiel is one of the Grigori, and elite squad of angels that God sent to Earth to watch over the humans. He was their leader, and the Grigori God trusted the most. However, the other Grigori under his command became corrupt over hundreds of years, and eventually abandoned the Mission to feed off of humans. Because of this, Xantiel had to hunt many of his former friends down himself and kill them, vowing to never be like them and serve humans and the Mission above all else. Xantiel eventually adopted human life, as a way to watch humans better and understand their culture. Over the years, he began to understand human concepts such as free will and "fun". Although he never strayed from the Mission, Xantiel became more logical and curious, following orders less blindly and enjoying the human lifestyle more. This came to a head in 1986, when Xantiel took a new human vessel named Jon Bon Jovi;
the two swapped control of Jon's body for various events, and they became good friends over the years. Jon even let Xantiel be in control of his body for a tour, which went surprisingly well. Currently, Xantiel usually takes the backseat unless there is something worthy of his attention.
