Wielder Joan of Arc's Sword

Fae stole Joan of Arc's sword from the British branch of the Men of Letters and fled into the night when she was ordered to kill a young werewolf, using Men of Letters magic to teleport herself elsewhere, she appeared in Zeppelin City - a place the British branch are hesitant to tread.

Joan of Arc's blade is infused with impressive magical power, but currently rests in an inert state without any of it's seals being broken. Across the base of the blade are five crosses that, when the blade is used to kill beings of large amounts of power, the blood of those beings will fill the cross and remain there, and enable the blade to kill that type of being again in the future. Each of the crosses representing something different - but as to what those are, Fae is presently unsure and has taken to researching to learn how to open the individual seals on her own time.

A secondary magical property of the blade is its ability to bind itself to its wielder through a blood ritual. By doing this, the blade will cause great pain in anyone who attempts to pick it up without the wielder first dying. Fae has since conducted this ritual in order to make it that much harder on the Men of Letters should they attempt to take the blade, but she survives. While however unlikely - it's necessary for what is to come either way. With it being bound to Fae's blood, it also binds Fae to it's users of the past, which are all connected to the blade in the form of spirits which only the wielder is able to perceive most of the time - these long-since dead wielders, including Joan of Arc herself, often advise the current wielder to destroy the blade, and warn of its horrible curse on the one who has bound themselves to it in cryptic warnings of horrible death and pain.

From what Fae has been able to gather on the subject of Joan of Arc's sword - when all of its seals are broken by filling the crosses with the blood of select beings, it has the ability to kill Archangels. This, however, all comes with a cost as the blade will use the users soul like a battery when its seals are broken, with it sapping more and more the more seals are broken. While it won't sap the users entire soul, it takes enough pieces at a time where it leaves the wielder steadily weaker the more they use it in combat - and using it with all of its seals for its intended use, according to its ghostly attendants, warn of it imparting the "ultimate sacrifice" but offer little more information on the subject.
