Personality:
Mulan is a turbulent woman who is driven by her heart first, and her mind second. She acts on waves of emotion that drive her to protect those she is close to, slay those who try to harm them, and put herself on the line in order to ensure those she loves are able to breathe another day. She fights, fights, and fights more until there's nothing left to challenge her - then she sets her sights on the next challenge, and then the next, and the next. A lack of something to protect, or a purpose, leaves Mulan in a restless state that often leads her to become frustrated or lost. For a time, the purpose that drove her life were Shang and Camelot - but how the absence of both of those things will change her... there is no telling.
She's characterized by her fearlessness, creative problem solving in combat, and unyielding intensity. She doesn't know what surrender means until she is pushed to the very end of her tether and there is no other option, charging head first into the fray with her sword held overhead, and making her enemy pay for every step that is made against her tenfold if she is able, even if its simply to slow them down until a better solution can be given.

History:
Mulan was born and raised in China, in a society that didn't see women as useful as men. She was expected to grow up, make herself fit into the typical mold of 'beauty', find a man, get married, and keep popping out kids for him while keeping his house clean and making him dinner. It goes without saying that the young woman wanted absolutely none of this, and would often escape the incessant nagging of her grandparents by entering town and dressing up as a man, able to speak and make herself look just right so that she could pass for one if no one looked too hard.
Mulan's father was often away, working as a hunter in the region who would fight creatures and protect their homestead from the things that went bump in the night. Realizing that his daughter might have use of those skills in self defense, he imparted them on her from when she was a teenager, though he never expected her to actually have to use them. That was, until they arrived in Camelot.
It was just Mulan and her father, on a simple horse ride when suddenly they emerged from woods they thought were familiar onto an odd stone road. They followed it for a time, figuring they could find civilization if they had gotten lost, get directions and simply find a place to sleep there. The road eventually led them to Camelot and its village, where they were informed of the situation at hand. Mulan, well she was intrigued. Her father... he was worried. Despite his worry, however, he quickly committed himself into hunting in the area in an effort to keep the village safe from supernatural threats. Despite Mulan begging him to allow her to help him, he would repeatedly refuse. So she set her sights elsewhere - on the King's guardsmen, making an effort to join them. The particular leader at the time, however, was also of the mind to underestimate Mulan due to her gender. So when her father was injured and left bedridden with healers after a number of zombie attacks on their homestead, Mulan pulled out an old bag of tricks and made herself look like a man.
It worked, and she was initiated into the city guard as a hunter and a defender. She excelled in combat, and already had most of the knowledge she would need in order to defend herself against the most common threats they would go on to face. It was through her training and early days as a guard that she would attract the attention of a servant girl named Shang.
Shang would watch Mulan practice in the training grounds into the late hours of the night from a window, often being distracted from her work just to see her fighting practice dummies or besting other guards in sparring matches with a sword and shield. As time passed, Shang would come closer, and Mulan would begin to notice the beautiful, shy servant girl who would always be watching, up until she glanced at her, and it would quickly make her avert her gaze. It became distracting, in fact. And one night, after her eyes drifted over to Shang from her sparring match, and it made her lose - something Mulan hadn't done since enlisting. She decided then and there, she had to talk to the pretty stranger, making an attempt to 'play it cool' by walking over to put her sword away on the racks that Shang was sitting next to, only to trip and fall down at her feet.
As it would so happen, the fall looked so manufactured that Shang noticed this, and got a good laugh out of it. Despite this, it was enough of an ice breaker for the two of them to trade names, and get to know one another.
When Mulan wasn't conducting her duties as a guard or a hunter, she was devoting her time to spending around Shang. She wasn't sure what it was about the other woman, but she felt an instant, powerful connection with her. And in hindsight, she realizes she had likely been in love with Shang from the moment that she learned her name, but she didn't realize it until much later. As their relationship progressed, bordering onto the romantic, Mulan finally decided to come clean about her sex to Shang one night, while the two of them were well away from the village on a walk. Shang admitted that she had her suspicions - but it didn't bother her either way and the two kissed, sang to one another, and then found a creative way to sneak into a barn where they would spend their first night with one another.
A newfound confidence filled Mulan after she and Shang had become official. She wanted to prove herself to the kingdom, but not just that - she wanted to prove herself to everyone who had doubted her - her father, her grandparents, the head of the guard. Everyone. So when the King ordered his men to retrieve the Holy Grail, Mulan was one of the first to volunteer for the expedition with a few other guardsmen who would go out to look for it, which led them to the pirates that resided off of the shore of Camelot. Mulan's comrades were killed or fled, leaving her as the sole survivor, but she managed to fend off most of the pirates on her own, and retrieve the Holy Grail by cutting off the Captains hand, taking it and leaping from the ship, swimming back to shore, ditching her armor and running back to the Kingdom. She didn't stop running until she was bursting through the doors of the throne room, scaring a number of guards, and then falling to her knees as she held up the Grail for Arthur to see, finally coming clean to the entirety of Camelot of her gender, and bringing them the artifact they had long sought after.
Arthur took the Grail, gave it to Merlin, and announced to those in the castle that, for her bravery and service - Mulan would be inducted into the Knights of the Round Table and given the title of Galahad, a name she wore with such pride, with a new weapon crafted by Merlin to work as her badge of office. She devoted her entire life to the cause of protecting the Kingdom from threats, and a year later she and Shang were wed, and things couldn't have possibly been better. She would see skirmishes with the pirates - whom she was not very popular with due to her being the cause of their Captain getting the name "Hook." She also went on many different adventures with her friends and fellow knights. She was happy with life. Everything was perfect.
Sadly, all the building up she was experiencing just set Galahad up for an even bigger fall.
A mysterious group from a place called Zeppelin appeared, and a number of odd connections were discovered to exist between residents in Camelot and the strangers - Galahad found hers in a woman named Roni Kekoa, a fellow hunter and warrior who she got along rather well with, and worked with closely. She did her duty, tried to help around Camelot in discovering the source of these strangers appearing... and then she returned home one day to find Shang dead on the floor of her room, with the symbol of the pirates painted on the floor next to her. Galahad had never been so furious, and alone in her life. She fell to her knees, sobbing over Shang's body as she begged for help, though none could be given other than the emotional support from her friends. That wasn't enough for her. She wanted - needed - more. She needed revenge.
Enlisting the help of a Camelot agent hiding among the pirates named Sinker, Roni, and Drake - Galahad went after the pirates, intending to end their threat once and for all with a special weapon that would finally end Captain Hook - the immortal pirate - for good. With the help of the outsiders and Sinker, they burned many of the pirate ships, sunk others, and then boarded the command ship, fighting through the crew until it came down to Galahad and Hook, fighting at the edge of the deck. Hook managed to get the drop on Galahad, knocking her backwards and nearly bringing his blade down to stab her through, when suddenly a blade emerged from his chest, the blade Merlin had crafted to finish him off for good.
There was a flash... and Hook was gone. Drake was on the ground, and Mulan was... confused. But she didn't have time to think about it, for Sinker pointed out the glowing of fires and smoke originating from Camelot. They took a boat back to shore and rode back to the Kingdom to find it under attack by Azazel and his forces, and jumped into the fray while keeping Drake and Roni safe. She lost Sinker in the fray, while the double agent lured off a mass of demons to clear the knights advance to the castle, and Mulan got them to safety just in time, arriving to join the defense with her friends and Arthur... but it wasn't enough.
Arthur fell down the well, and Galahad pursued him down with Bors and Gawain, hoping to save their friend. He was dying, she begged him to stay with them, to hold on just a bit longer. Surely Merlin or someone else would come and help them, save them from the well, heal him. He died seconds later, and the three knights were left in the well, even when Lady Morgan came, and they pleaded with her... she just asked about Arthur and walked away.
They were in the Well for days, in silence. No one ever came... and the hunger began to creep in. Galahad refused to do it at first, but Gawain and Bors eventually came to the conclusion... they had to eat the dead, if they had any chance of survival. She refused, again and again until finally the hunger became too much for her to bare. It broke her will and... she ate her friend. She ate Arthur, and she hated herself for it. She wanted to end her life for doing it. Whatever existence this was... it wasn't worth living. There was nothing left for them, but Bors and Gawain stopped her from ending her life.
She wished that they hadn't, because a short while later they had all become Wendigo.
Spending forever in a rage filled hunger, with only the ghost of their friend Arthur to keep them company, until sweet release was finally given by three strangers who had fallen down as well. Mulan expected Purgatory, or emptiness... but a strange peace came over her. Her body returned to its original state. What was this, she wondered.
Her story wasn't finished, it seemed.

Revan let everything Lucy was saying hit her at once, and it felt like the feeling the Angel got when she was still powerful, when someone shot her with a shotgun. She felt terrible, like someone had punched her in the gut, or hit her with a baseball bat. She turned around and her hand went over her mouth, feeling like she was going to throw up. It was better that Lucy was dead than deserving this... No one deserved to be a ghost, the sad, sad existence.
Her throat tightened and tears began to well up, trying a hard as she could to keep from breaking down here on the floor.
She turned to Lucy, seemingly three shades paler, her hair not nearly as vibrant as it seemed to be three years ago, her grey eyes dulled to a shade of black. "Lucy... its 2013..." Revan hadn't been keeping track but she had counted three New Years celebrations since Lucy's death. Her hands went to her face and then back to her sides, her nails digging in to her palms until blood leaked down her fingers. "Three years.. I've counted. Three years I've slept alone in the bed. Three years I've drowned my sorrows I alcohol... Three years with my heart ripped from my chest without you here, Heaven and Earth becoming a living hell to me, leaving me with what options?" Revan wasn't going to lie, she had tried her hand at writing stories like Lucy, but that was the best poetry she could do, even if it was free verse.
Tears were dripping down her cheeks again now, and with the flick of her wrist the TV blinked to life and flicked to the news, where the date would be shown. "Everything I told you... Everything you thought I was crazy over, everything you would joke about... About me being an Angel was not a lie." Revan looked up at her again and then to the floor. "I m-missed you so... s-so much." Revan's legs stopped supporting her then and the pink haired woman fell on the floor, her head tilted down and her face in her hands, sobbing. She knew she shouldn't, but she felt as she did on the day of Lucy's death and funeral. Like all the life had been sucked out of her seeing the person she loved at this fate. But there was a part of Revan that was revived with this, the part of her that she had thought was buried with Lucy... Selfish as it may be to her, Revan was so, so happy Lucy was back.
