Supernatural Speed: European vampires are incredibly fast and move in a blur.
Supernatural Strength: European Vampires are stronger than most species of vampires but it also depends on their age, as they get stronger as they grow older.
Supernatural Agility: European Vampires possess super-human agility. They have shown that they can move quickly, jump very high, climb, and run incredibly fast without difficulty or exhaustion. Vampires can jump with their super speed too.
Supernatural Senses: European Vampires have extremely keen senses of hearing, sight, smell, and taste that far exceed those of humans. They can hear whispered conversations, even ones in far of buildings and on phones, though most vampires typically learn how to tune out most ambient noises when it's not necessary to hear them. European Vampires can also smell blood from several meters away, and see in total darkness. These senses improve and grow stronger with age and experience as well. Their senses of taste are also enhanced, allowing them to detect the presence of drugs, alcohol, or even what the person ate in someone's blood.
Regeneration: European Vampires recover tissue from any form of physical damage to their bodies within seconds, though they still feel the pain of a wound before it heals. They can snap their bones back into place after they have been broken and have been seen to fully recover from gunshots, stab wounds, and torso impalement very quickly, so long as they had consumed a regular diet of human blood prior to the injury.
Healing Blood: European Vampires are able to heal humans by feeding them their blood, it will not turn them. The only way for them to turn is if they die while having the vampire blood in their system. If a drinks fresh blood from a vampire, a psychic and emotional bond is created. The vampire will be able to sense the location and emotions of the human.
Progeny Link: The one who made a vampire has a special link to those they create and can sense any pain or duress the progeny undergoes, and know when a progeny has died. The maker can "call" their progeny by saying their name out loud, causing the progeny to become aware their maker is calling out for them. The progeny experiences a shiver, and may be able to tell where their maker is. Lastly a maker can force their progeny to do anything they want, as long as they make what they say a direct order.
Immortality: They have the potential to live forever without aging.
Enhanced Emotions: European Vampires experience emotions more powerfully than humans. Emotions like love, joy, and happiness are magnified for vampires, allowing them to live life more intensely. This ability allows vampires to feel emotions at their peak regardless of their age.
Emotional Control: European Vampires have the supernatural ability to remove or dull their emotions by "turning off" or "switching off" their humanity, which is directly connected to their emotions. Doing so allows them to block out their more negative emotions, such as fear and guilt, allowing them to feed and kill without remorse, go against any opponent without fear, and relieve themselves of painful feelings such as grief, loss, depression, and shame. A vampire without their emotions is far more calculating and direct than one who keeps them on. However, the vampire can become a remorseless killer, and are almost unrecognizable from the person they truly are, as blocking out negative emotions also causes their positive emotions to become dulled or nonexistent as well. Vampires are capable of turning their humanity back on and bringing back their emotions, but it is difficult as a result of the fact that they will be bombarded with all of their repressed emotions in addition to the guilt of anything they did without their humanity (such as killing or torturing innocent people or loved ones) with enhanced intensity.
Mind Compulsion: European Vampires have the ability to influence and control thoughts, emotions, and behavior and can alter or erase memories by eye contact. They are not able to compel other vampires or any other kind of creature.
Vulnerabilities -
Animal Blood: Animal blood, while somewhat satisfying a European Vampire's hunger and sustaining their undead life, will make the vampire considerably weaker than they would be if they had drank human blood, causing their physical abilities to be inferior to a human-blood-consuming vampire, making them heal much more slowly, and making their compulsion less effective.
Excess Blood: If a European Vampire drinks too much blood, they will display alcohol intoxication-like qualities (such as euphoria, confusion, stupor, etc). However the amount of blood needed for this to happen becomes larger the older the vampire is.
Hunger: A European Vampire has a strong blood lust that they have to fight to control; most cannot.
Broken Neck: Breaking a vampire's neck will not kill them, but it will render them in a death like state for varying amounts of time, depending on the diet and age of the person in question.
Decapitation: Dismembering or manually removing the head of a European Vampire will result in instant and permanent death.
Desiccation: European Vampires who abstain from blood for extended amounts of time will eventually desiccate and mummify.
Heart Extraction: Removing the heart of a vampire will result in permanent death. Vampires have the strength to plunge their hands right through the flesh of humans, allowing them to punch their hand through the thorax of a person and pull out their heart. If it is a vampire who has been subjected to this, then they will desiccate upon their death, causing their bodies to become a grey, dry husk with their vampiric veins exposed all over their body.
Sunlight: Sunlight and UV rays burn vampires on contact, and prolonged exposure will cause them to burst into flames and die. However, this weakness can be mitigated by the use of a piece of jewelry enchanted with a specific protection spell by a witch for a particular vampire, though it requires the vampire to wear the jewelry at all times.
Vampire Bloodline: If the alpha or one of the vampires the alpha himself turned dies, then any vampire they turned and the generations after will die as well.
Wood: Wounding a European Vampire with a wooden weapon such as wooden bullets will incapacitate them, and it will take longer for them to heal their injuries than if the wounds were caused by any other substance. Stabbing a vampire through the heart with a wooden stake will result in instantaneous and permanent death. It's possible for a vampire to build up a resistance to the effects of wood, but it's not possible for them to be fully immune.
Silver: Any contact with silver will burn the skin of the European Vampire it touches.

Personality: Charlie is a fairly popular girl, always has been. But, she wasn't your standard stuck up, popular girl. She was someone who would sit with people at lunch who would be sitting alone, no matter what they looked like or how weird other people thought they were. She was always wise beyond her years and saw past the whole judgmental high schooler thing and just saw people who needed a friend.
She loves spending time with her family and is really family oriented. They are her everything. Coming into a close second, though, are her friends. Charlie is the type of friend who would smash your ex's windshield for doing you wrong and feel completely justified for doing so, because in her eyes, she was defending one of her people.
She loves to learn new things, whether it be something small or something big, she can't get enough. Charlie is constantly trying to better herself. So much, that in fact, she nearly drives herself insane trying to so since she pushes herself to her limits all the time.

History: Charlotte Faye Harrington was born on November 13th 1996 in Miami, Florida to her mother and father, Sylvia and Jeffery. The family was head over heels over their newest little baby, including her older sister Olivia. She grew up in a very supportive and loving family, eventually becoming an older sister herself.. twice. While she liked playing with her siblings, she would rather play with her friends most days and would run around the neighborhood with the other kids and go to their neighborhood park and to the beach. She was a good and happy kid. She throughly enjoyed school and would beg to go even if she were sick. She was even in the girl scouts and several sports. Took piano lessons.. just an all around well rounded kid.
When she got to high school, she went through a bit of a rebellious phase as a lot of people do and would sneak out or lie about where she was going to her parents so she could go hang out with her friends at parties or whatever they would be wanting to do that night. Nothing bad ever happened to her besides embarrassing herself from getting too drunk or high.. until one night. This guy she was talking to at a party slipped something in her drink and drugged her up.. unfortunately ending in Charlie being date-raped. When she eventually woke up, she felt really ashamed and scared. She never told anyone, instead just got herself checked out and she was clean. After that, she decided the party life just wasn't for her out of fear of that possibly happening again.
After she graduated high school, she attended the University of Miami. She was studying to be a marine biologist while working third shift as a front desk worker at a beach resort. This gave her nearly zero time for any sort of social life because she was either working or studying. Her three best friends understood, though, and never held it against her if she had to choose sleep over them, because she barely got any. But, most of the time, the few days off she had, her time was all theirs.
One night whenever she was walking to her car from the last class she had that day, a woman was asking for some help with her car in the parking garage. She was claiming to have dropped her keys in the engine while she was checking it and didn't have a flashlight or anything to be able to see in there clearly. Charlie has a good heart, so of course she was going to help her. She took her phone out of pocket and flipped on the light and started shining it in there to help the girl out. While the girl was "trying to find her keys", a man came up from behind her with some Chloroform and held it onto her mouth. Suddenly, she was out cold and they loaded her into the car and took off with her.
When Charlie woke up, she was among some other girls in what seemed to be some sort of basement. She immediately starts trying to come up with a plan to escape while, at the same time, understandable panicking. She started talking to the other girls to try to figure out what the hell was going on. None of them seemed to know anything. A couple of days passed without even a drop of water or a morsel of food. She was sure she was going to die. Suddenly, a man comes in with a big goblet and offered them a drink. Being desperate, Charlie agreed immediately and took a drink without questioning what it was. She simply didn't care because her body's need for hydration was just too strong. After she took the sip, she nearly vomited when she realized the drink she had drank was blood, and even though she didn't know it, it was the "man's" own blood.. which happened to be vampire blood.
After everyone had taken a drink- he killed them all. She eventually woke up, not exactly realizing she had died, and then the man came back to her and offered her another drink. This time, it was human blood which completed the transition. The man then decided to put Charlie and some of the other girls to work.. just doing anything he wanted them to do against her own will. She had enough of this. She began not only thinking about escaping and decided it was time to take action and actively try to get out of the house they were kept in. With some surveying and planning, Charlie broke free and ran out of the house and kept running.. not knowing where she was going, but to her, anywhere was better than there.

Uncle Grant- Drop what you're doing and get over here right now. *his voice sounds sounds stern and slightly frantic*
*he puts down the sandpaper and grabs the keys to his truck* What's going on? *he asks as he turns the lights off in his shop and shuts the door, walking to his truck*
Uncle Grant- Freddie ran off. We were hunting a demon and he ran after him, and now I can't find him. *he has an annoyed tone to his voice, and is slightly out of breath*
*Ben groans annoyed* He knows better than to go after a demon by himself! *he climbs in his pickup truck and slams the door shut and starts it up* I'm on my way, where are you?
Uncle Grant- I'm in the woods near the Watson's old farm. Near that one giant tree with nothing around it.
*Ben nods to himself* Ok, yeah, I remember. I'm on my way, stay there and call me if anything else happens. *he pulls out of the driveway, flinging gravel as he flies onto the road* Damn it, Freddie. *he says to himself, while he speeds all the way to the woods where his uncle told him he was* *he pulls off on the side of the road and turns off his truck,grabs his gun and starts running through the woods and to the giant tree where he sees his Uncle Grant standing there, gun in hand*
Uncle Grant- It's about time you got here, I was about to just keep on looking for him myself. *he starts trotting off in, motioning for Ben to follow*
*He follows Grant and they go through the woods, as they have done several times before* Where do you think he could've went?
Uncle Grant- Well, boy, if I would've known, I wouldn't have called you, now would I?
*Ben stays quiet and keeps looking, whenever he sees a shadow, he stops and grabs his gun*
Uncle Grant- *he stops whenever Ben stops, looking over at him and then to where the shadow is* There's that stupid bastard. *he says annoyed then walks towards him* What the hell were you thinking? *he yells at Freddie*
*Ben stays quiet, but follows Grant over to where Freddie is*
Uncle Freddie- *he looks over to see Ben and Grant walking towards him* I almost had him. *he wipes the sweat off of his face and sighs, the look of disappointment on his face*
