>>>Index Finger: Lucen's wedding ring does not require Lucen to say a word to use, but it functions as something of a ward against weak magic cast her way.
>>>Middle Finger: Domum, Instantly teleports Lucen to Jai in the case of an emergency.
>>>Ring Finger: Comedat, Summons a swarm of beetles from the ring.
>>>Pinkie: Ignis, Generates a large, green blast of fire around Lucen, sparing a small circle around where she is standing.[/ul]
Enchanted Chains: Lucen wears what look like small, innocent chain accessories on her pants, hands and arms. By casting a spell, she can turn these small chains into weapons, making them stretch longer than they should physically be able to to wrap around someone, or even use them in a manner similar to a whip. They're surprisingly strong for being so thin, but they're only truly capable of holding a human in place for any extended period of time.

★ Make the world a better place for Jai
Lucen is a confident, powerful woman who is willing to do whatever it takes to do the right thing for the greater good - even if it means going as far as to hurt innocents in small numbers to save the larger whole. She'll torture, kill, abuse, and torment all she has to do in order to make her act seem convincing when trying to blend in with a dark crowd if it means she can plant the roots of discord into them and bring them to the ground. She's come to terms with the mindset that the ends will always justify the means and will do whatever she has to do in order to ensure the survival of herself, her daughter, and as many innocents as possible - even if a few have to die in order to keep others safe.
Even though she often has to live behind a mask, Lucen finds ways to have her fun. She's a flirt, a lush, and not exactly bad to have a conversation with if she can drop the abrasive and often arrogant sarcasm for half a damn second. She's fairly intelligent as well, and takes great pride in her spellcasting prowess.
The one person that Lucen will never, ever hurt is Jai. She's done it once before and almost couldn't stomach it in order to keep her cover. Although she realizes she isn't a good mother, and is far from the caretaker, protecter, and idol that her daughter deserves - she does what she does to ensure the world she lives in is a better one than the one they left behind. And if that means a few people have to die to make that happen - then so be it. She'll make that happen, all for her. Jai is, likely, the only person that Lucen is ever truly fully open and honest with and she has a very loose, casual relationship with her daughter that most people would say is far too lax - but Jai has grown up in a world that forced her to mature faster than any child should have had to, leading to Lucen to treat her like an adult, because she's had to be one for her entire life. Even though she encourages her to get out, have fun and get into trouble these days.
So long as it isn't dangerous.

Revan never meddled in the affiairs of Iblis.
She neglected to kill one demon, at the right place at the right time, and that completely changed the course of her life. Her Grace began to fade. Lucy never died. She became as close to a human as an Angel could be without ripping out her grace. Lucy became a well known and celebrated Author, and with wealth and happiness settled down with the Angel in her Apartment in a luxury New York City penthouse, where they began tossing around ideas to start a family of their own. Making the biggest decision of their lives on who would carry a child generously given by a doner based on a game of drunken cards one rainy night - a game Revan inevitably lost.
Lucen was born to a loving household, although born of Revan being... generally shit with giving names, and Lucy sort of just humoring it at the angels insistance that "she carried the kid."
Of course there was... a side effect, of Revan carrying Lucen. As she got older she began to hear voices speaking to her, all the time. She began to lose sleep over them. They would stress the child out and it came down to her godmother, Kenzie, and Revan having to expose the truth of their supernatural origins to Lucy in full - after many attempts in the past to explain things being generally brushed off by the author. With the reality of the situation given, she was a bit surprised, but genuinely wanted to help Lucy Jr. in some shape of form with... whatever she was dealing with. Ultimately, it came down to Revan to help her learn to tune out of the voices so that she could sleep, after long, horrible weeks of little to no sleep. Lucen's life got back on track, but now the supernatural was firmly established with Revan, who would soon go on a few years later to cut a bargain with Heaven and reestablishing her connection with it so that she was able to help with the current goings on.
Another interesting thing that surfaced from Lucen was when Kenzie began to notice signs of her possessing magical potential - whether this was from the doner, or from Revan, was an uncertainty but Kenzie offered to begin teaching the pre-teen Lucen to use her gifts. Both of her mothers agreed, and Lucen began having training in the art of witchcraft every weekend with Kenzie, where Kenzie began to quickly realize that Lucen was exceptionally powerful for a young magic user, and picked up on the new skills extremely quick. It was startling, but it was a good move on the part of her mothers part due to her learning to control her powerful gifts and turn them to the right uses. In addition to this - to teach her to defend herself - her Aunt, Alice, and her other godparents Alessandra and Lyle began to teach her how to hunt and defend herself, another set of skills that she was finding to be very skilled at.
Through High School, Lucen grew to be a rather intelligent and confident young woman who didn't shy away from trading choice words with people who deserved it, or throwing a punch or two. She often got into trouble, much to her parents annoyance - Lucy's at least. Revan found it plenty entertaining.
Entering her adult years, Lucen decided to take up hunting full time, with her magic and years of training on how to hunt, she felt as if she had nothing to fear. Sure enough, she was spectacular at the job and she only got better as time went by, occasionally with the help of her odd little family, but most of the time on her own - not really thinking she needed the help. She enjoyed life. Slept around, hunted, made friends, made enemies, saved people, hunted things.
Of course, then Cyrus happened.
In a flash, the world went to shit. Millions died, with Lucen and Kenzie being the only ones she knew of managing to escape, with Lucy being killed in the initial chaos. Revan ported them to safety, appearing as the Last Angel after Cyrus had kicked in the doors of Heaven and cleaved through them one by one, and the souls of the dead there - whatever he could get his hands on, he destroyed. All but Revan - the last one of her kind who did her best to protect her young girl and best friend.
The trio wandered, struggling to survive before they finally found a place called The Vault, an underground series of interconnected sewers, basements and bunkers in the middle of the wastelands Cyrus had created. Hiding underground, quiet as they could be to avoid the wrathful god on the surface and hoping against hope that, one day, they would be able to return while they struggled to survive and defend themselves down there. That was where Lucen Jr. met Connor Parker.
Connor was a Witch with Angel blood running in his veins, his very emotions able to call down lightning on his enemies, and magic to boot. Lucen was drawn to him instantly, more than for just sex - she was fascinated with him. He was almost as old as she was. He was powerful as hell, led the bunker, and he had this look on his face from everything that he'd seen in his life. He and Lucen became close over time and Lucen ended up being pregnant as a result with their daughter, Jai. It wasn't long after Jai's birth that she and Connor "got married" - for as much as that mattered anymore - with Revan making it official, deciding that being the Last Angel was close enough to make up for the lack of a Priest.
Jai proved to be just as powerful as her parents as she grew, developing abilities from Connor's blood, and powerful witchcraft from Lucen's. With the work of the two of then and Kenzie they helped her learn to use her abilities from a very young age.
Things took a turn, though, when Cyrus found the Vault.
In fear of losing his family, Connor ordered Lucen to take their daughter and leave while he, Revan and Kenzie tried to hold Cyrus off. She knew what that meant, and she knew she wouldn't see any of them again as she watched the three of them run into the bunkers they'd called home for years in a desperate attempt to save people from the tyrant known as Cyrus.
Lucen cast a spell, holding her daughter close, and vanished in a flash of green light to appear in the ruins of London, far away from the Vault. It was just her and Jai then, and Lucen couldn't take the time to grieve the loss of their family. She had to keep Jai alive, she had to stay alive herself to protect them. They hid in the London underground, living off of scraps as Lucen helped Jai learn what she needed to do to survive, with a number of instances where Lucen had to kill other survivors for their supplies or fight them off to protect them. There was no room to be the good guy anymore.
And then things changed again.
It started with an earthquake. Grabbing Jai, Lucen fled the underground they hid in to get to the surface to avoid a possible cave in and when they emerged, London was... different. The hellish landscape that Cyrus had left behind was intermixed with buildings, some looking brand new, others looking destroyed and old - and some of them looking like they were both. None of it made much sense but... Cyrus was gone, as she learned after running through a number of magical spells to try to sense the powerful presence she had become so familiar in hiding from. And she could hear them again - the Angels - after so many years of silence she heard them speaking again. Sometimes more than one of the same. Sometimes she heard Revan.
But the world was still chaos. For the next five years, things were roughly the same. People fought over supplies, killed one another just because they could. It was in this time that Lucen settled in with a group that was hiding out in Ireland that she met a young woman named Saige, who took an instant liking to Lucen and Jai, to the point of almost falling head over heels for the green haired witch. Lucen and her started sleeping together on the side, simply as stress relief while trying to figure out what they were supposed to do with themselves in this new world - but nothing serious came from it.
Eventually the group they had moved in with was beset upon by a larger group of bandits, who nearly wiped out everyone to steal their supplies. Lucen managed to avoid capture, but in the madness had been separated from Jai, who had been taken. She needed to get her daughter back, so Lucen, with help from Saige, infiltrated the group under the lie of joining up with them, having to do a lot of horrible things to earn their trust in killing or maiming a few people - including one horrible instance where she had to hit Jai's hand with a metal rod that she has never forgiven herself for - until she earned the trust of the leader of the group, who was a man named Jericho. Lucen worked her way into his inner circle, and then used a touch of magic and her good looks to seduce him. When he invited Lucen to his tent, she went and dipped her long nails in poison, and then went and slept with Jericho.
Within about an hour, Jericho was dead. Lucen clothed herself, then cut off his head and carried it outside, putting it on a pike outside of his tent.
With how the group operated, Jericho had been the one person keeping all of the sub-groups they had absorbed from killing one another. Lucen swept through in the ensuing madness and freed all of the captives, including Jai who -after a long string of apologies - she whisked away to safety. It was from there that Saige and Lucen fled back to the UK, where they encountered the government that was trying to reestablish itself. The trio of witches offered their services to help out, and once it was all put back into place, the group that would be heading back in time was assembled.
Seeing no future in the world that was left before them, Lucen took Jai and Saige and volunteered all of them to go, teleporting them back in time. However, the spell not exactly being exact teleported Lucen, Saige and Jai back about two years before most of the other group had arrived in a place known as Zeppelin City - which they stayed largely removed from while trying to get their bearings and figure out where they belonged exactly, and waiting for backup in the search for the Rip. It was around then that they met a vampire named Wilson who was a member of the resident camp led by Robert Wills. Wilson became a good friend of the trio, and would visit their apartment often, but he - like all of Robert's fellow vampires - were slain by a group of masked hunters.
Lucen jumped into action instantly. An old strategy playing out in her mind, she and Saige masked their magical presence and went in search of the hunters in question, finding them hidden from the rest of the area and joined up with intentions of destroying them once more from the inside, and doing whatever it took to ensure that just that happened - even if it meant killing a few innocent creatures in order to keep the whole safe, she needed to cut all of the heads off of the snake and start infighting while leaking info to the other side of the conflict.
If only it was that simple.

Revan let everything Lucy was saying hit her at once, and it felt like the feeling the Angel got when she was still powerful, when someone shot her with a shotgun. She felt terrible, like someone had punched her in the gut, or hit her with a baseball bat. She turned around and her hand went over her mouth, feeling like she was going to throw up. It was better that Lucy was dead than deserving this... No one deserved to be a ghost, the sad, sad existence.
Her throat tightened and tears began to well up, trying a hard as she could to keep from breaking down here on the floor.
She turned to Lucy, seemingly three shades paler, her hair not nearly as vibrant as it seemed to be three years ago, her grey eyes dulled to a shade of black. "Lucy... its 2013..." Revan hadn't been keeping track but she had counted three New Years celebrations since Lucy's death. Her hands went to her face and then back to her sides, her nails digging in to her palms until blood leaked down her fingers. "Three years.. I've counted. Three years I've slept alone in the bed. Three years I've drowned my sorrows I alcohol... Three years with my heart ripped from my chest without you here, Heaven and Earth becoming a living hell to me, leaving me with what options?" Revan wasn't going to lie, she had tried her hand at writing stories like Lucy, but that was the best poetry she could do, even if it was free verse.
Tears were dripping down her cheeks again now, and with the flick of her wrist the TV blinked to life and flicked to the news, where the date would be shown. "Everything I told you... Everything you thought I was crazy over, everything you would joke about... About me being an Angel was not a lie." Revan looked up at her again and then to the floor. "I m-missed you so... s-so much." Revan's legs stopped supporting her then and the pink haired woman fell on the floor, her head tilted down and her face in her hands, sobbing. She knew she shouldn't, but she felt as she did on the day of Lucy's death and funeral. Like all the life had been sucked out of her seeing the person she loved at this fate. But there was a part of Revan that was revived with this, the part of her that she had thought was buried with Lucy... Selfish as it may be to her, Revan was so, so happy Lucy was back.
