Abilities
Clairsentience - The ability to perceive the residual information of an object by touching it. Crystal has used this method countless times in her job at Crescent. She is able to see the past, present, and future. However, she can see visions of the past and present more prominently than the future. In fact, there are more times than not where she can not see the future at all.
Spell-casting - Crystal has a notable knowledge of spell-work. She not only knows how to summon ghosts but she also knows a nice array of incantations and rituals. However, she is not an avid practitioner of spell-casting and only uses what she needs in the means to help others.
Mediumship / Hoodoo - The ability to communicate with the dead and using magic to control them. This is her more advanced ability because she is frequently using it. At the age of 9 she was able to control nearby ghosts due to a dark stage in her life. She uses her emotions to attached them and hoodoo to keep them at bay or to defend. This does not mean she can control ghosts completely or for long periods of time. She also knows the art of summoning the dead but she refuses to use it because "nothing good ever comes from it."
Empathy - The ability to sense the emotions that a person is feeling. For Crystal, this particular ability is used when dealing with ghosts. It is her way of understanding how far along the process the ghost is in the supernatural sense. Ex: Vengeful or Poltergeist. When it comes to other humans or creatures she has to touch the said person and create an official connection. After the first touch she is able to feel their emotions from afar.

Personality:
Naturally easygoing, Crystal is known to be down-to-earth while still embodying an idealistic and airy charm. Though she is somewhat introverted she loves adventure and experiencing new things and people. If anything she's a calm but free spirit that longs to help others and provide a sense of peace and understanding of the unknown. Thankfully, with the current occupation she has, she is able to fulfill her spiritual longing to help others by servicing civilians, hunters, spirits, and even creatures. She is, as I'd like to put it, the next Pamela Barnes but in her own right. I don't mean to say this in arrogance but coming from a family of witches, psychics, and spiritualist allowed her to have more practice in the art of the Supernatural. If you want answers to a seemingly impossible question--Crystal is someone to go too.
She's friendly to everyone that she encounters and is known to be opinionated but outwardly impartial. This isn't because she's 'two-faced' but, more or less, she believes that everyone deserves to be treated fairly. Whether she likes them or not. However, she does not take lightly to those who install injustice upon others. That being said, it should be noted that her temper is not one that explodes--but rather--implodes. There is a lot of internal brewing before she'll feel forced to show her true amount of discontentment, which may seem sudden for those who do not know her mental pattern. Luckily, it takes a certain combination to unlock her rage.
On her off time, Crystal can be found doing a variety of things. Her usual activities take place in the evening and entails taking Gideon on an evening walk, making a flamboyant dinner, and sitting down in her balcony with a glass of wine to watch the sunset into night. She is also quite the romanticist and will often tease and "ship" her friends and acquaintances but never draw that attention onto herself. Due to her last relationship she's skeptical to get in another and will expect to be courted before taking anyone seriously.
If she's not at home or browsing the city Crystal is most likely at work where she can be found prepping her supplies or cleansing the area. You see, she's actually an "on the go" psychic and does home or company visits. However, she is usually in her office and helping with researching any Hunter cases. She often has music playing both at her home and in her office at the Metaphysical Store she works at. She can speak 5 different languages English, Russian, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Japanese. She also has an extensive knowledge of protecting herself against the Dark and Supernatural along with Witchcraft, Paganism, Occult Affairs, Astronomy/Astrology, Hunter Basics 101, and is very much aware of the drama that has brewed and is brewing with Heaven and Hell.

Parents: Regina Bobkov (Mother) Jared McKNight (Father)
Siblings: [Total of 6 half-siblings] Viktor Hines is the most notable
Other Family: Antonina Bobkov (Grandmother) Boris Bobkov (Grandfather)
Important Others: Various Hunters, Creatures, Spirits, and Civilians
History:
Crystal's childhood wasn't the best. On October 3, 1988 she had been the first born to Regina Bobkov and the third born to Jared McKnight. Because they were not legally bound Regina had lived with her parents Antonina and Boris Bobkov who tended to Crystal while her mother worked and went to college. When Crystal turned 5 years old her father stopped visiting her due to issues that arose between the Bobkovs and the McKnights. It wasn't long after that that Regina ended up with another man who later became Crystal's step-father. He was abusive and incredibly malicious to his step-daughter which had caused her to grow up with depression and a hopeless heart.
At the age of 8, Crystal had sought help and validation from a school-friend about her abusive step-father but was turned down and scolded instead. Her step -father, Riley Hines, had kept his abusive ways a secret from the world. Her mother also had no clue of his abusive mannerisms because she had worked constantly. So when he found out Crystal had searched for the courage to report him he had threatened to hurt her further. After that she had kept the terrors of her home to herself.
One thing that should be heavily noted is that Crystal's family ( on her mother's side) is filled with skilled psychics and witches. The most powerful having to be her grandmother, Antonina, and her mother, Regina. You see, the psychic gene seems to only generate through the Bobkov females--while the males ( if they desire to join into the supernatural world ) turn to be well educated and well controlled witches. Crystal, being the firstborn into the third generation of Bobkovs, had obtained this gene. Her powers had quickly flourished as her depression hit it's ultimate low. Her youngest brother, Viktor Hines, was a new addition to the family and had received far more positive attention than his older sister. This infuriated Crystal. At the age of 9, Crystal was able to summon and control a ghost into terrorizing her step-father. The most frightening part being that she did it without realization. However, being so young and naive to her abilities she had eventually gotten possessed by the ghost. This possession lasted for several years because she had actually found a way to control the ghost and use it to her advantage. Though this may seem intense for a child to control--she did indeed handle it on her own. The only drawback being that she would often get overrun and now has that part of her life blacked out. A drawback of keeping and controlling a ghost.
Antonina saw that her granddaughter was growing more and more skilled in her powers but she also noticed that she was starting to mentally fall apart. In fear that the ghost will break her granddaughter's mind she pleaded to Regina to help Crystal and explained the horrors Riley had placed on the little girl. Horrified that Crystal had endured so much pain, Regina immediately divorced Riley and rid of the ghost that Crystal had been controlling. From here, the Bobkovs grew closer having realized that the darkness that had been brewing in Crystal was slowly diminishing into something more positive and welcoming. She had gone through many adventures in her pre-teens having befriended a group of witches in middle-school and learned many new tricks and hints into magic. Of course, the introduction from her friends encouraged her to seek more knowledge on witchcraft from her family. In highschool, through the middle school witches disbanded, she had made friends with another psychic and learned even more from her. Her knowledge seemed never ending and she even sought out to find answers and new ways of practice on her own.
During the last days of highschool, Crystal had met and fallen in love with a guy who she had later moved in with. He was a hunter named of Bernie Thompson and had been crippled in his legs in a hunt with a Shapeshifter. The two seemed to be a perfect couple--until Crystal expressed she was ready to put her powers to use. Due to his previous accident Bernie had fear for Crystal and tried his best to persuade her in not joining into the supernatural world. This didn't work. Eventually, he had signed with a crossroads demon to regain his legs so he may at least watch over her. The deed was done but the drama was only starting to brew. When Crystal found out of his deal she grew angry with him but remained with him and decided to set her goals on stand-still until they figure a way to undo the deal. During this time the couple fought continuously and Crystal grew more and more unhappy. After an array of unfortunate events Bernie started to lose himself and eventually mentally and physically hurt Crystal in the process. Crystal immediately left him and returned to her family to finish college. Bernie and Crystal's relationship lasted a total of 4 years.
Currently, Crystal has her Bachelors in Creative and Professional Writing. She is also a member of a company located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan that employs psychics and witches in investigating supernatural happenings. The company is small despite the large range of countries they inhibit and is called "Crescent." Crescent is originally a metaphysical-spiritual store that focuses in religious, spiritual, and hippie items--but as explained before is ran by those with either a special love for the spiritual world or a special gift to see into it. The company has two psychics or witches specifically hired to help Hunters all around the world. Because the company is still small and keeping their underground help system a secret there is only two "On-The-Go-Helper" available in each country. Crystal happens to be one in America. She does, however, visit Mexico and Japan frequently. The job is often lonesome due to the heavy traveling involved. Thus Crystal bought a black French Bulldog that she named Gideon. She's been with the company for about a year and realizes that the job is no different than the job of a Hunter.

Castiel's hand reaches up to grab the crown of Dick's straight brown hair. Harshly tugging the Leviathan's head back to expose his neck, Dean, with vengeful force, jabs the bone through Dick's most vulnerable spot. Castiel and Dean's faces are twisted into snarls of determination as Dick gargles out in pain. It is now that Sam and Kevin hastily break through the twin doors and watch in curious horror as Dick continues his pained sounds.
"Figured we had to catch you off guard," Dean spoke as Dick raged with eyes full of hate. The Leviathan could not hold his composure and for a second his true form unleashes. Even though he has lost Dick's lips curve into a distasteful smile and black blood leaks from his wound. In seconds his body begins to shake as he releases a powerful aura. Releasing something terrible. The smile continues to widen which causes everyone in the room to become quickly concerned. A noise of amusement ripples through Dick as the energy is suddenly absorbed. Sam immediately could feel the power be sucked in all at once "It's too much. He's about to implode," thought Sam as he quickly shielded Kevin and himself from what could be a terrible impact.
But he felt nothing. In fact, he heard nothing. Dick's laughter had faded away with the sounds of the implosion and when Sam turned around in wild confusion Kevin is the first to speak "Sam...we should go." His voice rang with urgency as if he too felt something was incredibly wrong. However, Kevin's words were placed on standby as Sam's eyes scanned the now empty lab. "Where was Dean? Where was Castiel? Sam finally spoke "What the hell?" His confusion quickly became so deep that it quickly turned into fear and dumped into the pits of his stomach.
"More Chompers any second, Sam!" Kevin pleaded as Sam quickly edge deeper into the lab in hopes to find a clue of what just happened. However, a familiar voice draws Sam away from his hunt. "Not to worry," Crowley speaks as he casually advances towards Sam "I have a small army of demons outside." The demon comes to a stop with his usual matter of fact expression "Cut of the head and the body will flounder after all. Think if you'd have one king just before the sunrise you'd be in a kerfuffle too."
Sam understood Crowleys words and they angered him. They filled him with a predictable sense of betrayal. The fear rose from his stomach and bubbling into his chest as he responds "This is exactly what you wanted." Crowley tilts his head to the side briefly "So did you. Without a master plan the Levi's are just another monster--hard to stumb? Sure! But you love a challenge. Youuu're job is to keep them from organizing."
So many thoughts reign in Sam's mind as Crowley spoke but he pushed them aside for more important matters. Now the fear had risen into his throat and leaked into his tone "Where is Dean?" Crowley glances over to where Dean and Castiel has disappeared and explained that the weapon was much more powerful than they had anticipated. This didn't satisfy Sam. Raising his voice he questions in clear raged filled despair "WHERE ARE THEY, CROWLEY?" But Crowley, unwavered by Sam's tone, again says that he cannot help and snaps his fingers to summon two demons. They stand on either side of Kevin and grab onto his shoulders as Crowley again speaks "Sorry Sam. Profits mine." Another snap of his fingers and the prophet, along with the demons, are gone.
"You got what you want. Dick's dead, saved the world, so I want one little prophet." Sam couldnt believe what was happening or, more or less, couldn't fully process it all to come to a steady conclusion. He stared at Crowley with a gaze that spoke the emotions that brewed so quickly within him. Fear turned into desperation as Crowley continued on "Wish I could help. You certainly have a lot on your plate right now... Looks like you are well and truly on your own." With another snap Crowley disappears and Sam is left alone in a black splattered lab.
The emotions continued to brew and soon quickly overflowed as Sam glanced around the lab. His chest heaved in disbelief, his eyes wildy searched for a quick clue, while his mind replayed Crowley's words. Fingers comb into his long hair as he continues to process everything. As much as he wants to curse, as much as he wants to scream, or let the tears of every emotion break loose, he tries to compose himself. He needed to be gone. He needed to figure everything out. For a moment he couldnt move but when his eyes land on the black goop spattered against the wall he inches away from the lab. A few stumbled steps before taking off in a run.
He doesn't stop. He won't bring himself too until he was already in the Impala and miles away from the scene. Until he had pulled over just on the edge of the next state with hands moistening the grip of the wheel. He leans back in his seat and gently places a few fingers over his tightly shut lips. Eyes close just as tightly as his shoulders heave in sadness and the faint noise of harsh breathing muffling the raw sound of despair rippling in his throat. It was there that his mind processed and accepted the disappearance of his only family. That Dean was actually gone. So far gone that even Crowley could not hint his whereabouts. If Crowley did not know...then who else would?
