Hal is a bundle of serious energy that tends to be so excessive, he'll often pick at or chew on his own body in nervous expenditure when he can't get rid of it all through running or talking or great sex. He has multiple sessions a day where his head violently jerks to the left several times in a row before stopping; this is due to damage he received when he was a toddler, and a man his mother was fighting with slammed his head into a dresser. It's also a possible source for the rest of his odd habits and ways of thinking. Hal feels safest when he has a small tight space to curl up in, such as a small cage or under a coffee table. This stems from his past when his foster brother would lock him up in a cage after fights. He feels safest when he's in a place where he knows others can't easily get to him. While he's super friendly (and has like zero sense of personal space) to others, Hal has a tendency to be quite aggressive towards dogs (true dogs, not so much other skinwalkers). This is left over behavior from when he was used by his foster brother as a dog in a dog fighting ring for many years, to the point where he almost entirely lost his humanity. He was an extremely skilled dog fighter, and is still so to a point, despite having lost a limb. Hal often concerns many people, especially nurturing people, because he seems to have so little care for himself, and with how oblivious he is to injustices or problems involving him. He adores making friends, and will be intensely loyal and protective to those he likes.
-He is missing his right arm, from just above the elbow down. He chewed it off when it got caught in a bear trap several years earlier. He absolutely does not care that he lost it, and is just as happy as always. This does, however, easily give away which dog he is, as there's only one three legged and super hyper dog in town.
-Hal loves sex, and is totally down for doing the deed with anyone. He's not at all picky. They just have to be ready for his energy and stamina levels, as his partner(s) could be passing out while he's still bouncing around.
-He's easily exploitable, as he tends to be too trusting and often oblivious to being used to further peoples plans.
-If there's something even remotely edible to eat, you can bet Hal will give it a try. No matter how disgusting it is.
Gina Costa: What started off as friendship bloomed into a strong love. Hal loves the woman dearly, even more so because she can handle him with all his eccentricities and the hyper mess he is. This love between them is so strong that they are now engaged to be married, with talks of starting a family. Hal couldn't be happier <3
Hah! There are no acquaintances, only friends! According to him anyway. You meet him once, and he considers you a friend. Although really he does have a few acquaintances.
Dean WInchester: He chatted his ear off once, and even helped fend off the headless horseman with him! It was fun times! But he's a hunter, so Hal thinks maybe he should try to avoid him in the future just to be safe.
Holly McKinley: She's super nice, and he saved her once from...hell, he has no idea what it was. But it was nasty and smelled like it was rotting. Hal very much considers Holly a friend, even though they've only interacted like twice. Once she even bought him a funnel cake! That was a great day. But she warned him to be careful about openly admitting what he is, so Hal has been far more cautious because he wants to make her happy that he took her warning to heart.
Lucen Grey: She's super fun to talk to! Hal enjoyed trying to make her laugh by performing tricks. He had a lot of fun with her, and can't wait to hang out again!
Aubrey Shaw: He actually knows her as "Jan", as that was the fake name she gave him when they first met. He thinks she's pretty cool, and enjoys chatting with her.
Andreas Ambrose: He's a vampire! But super nice. Hal likes hanging around him. He even let him spend the night at his place once!
Robin Winchester: It's complicated, but he thinks she's super cool and would love to be her friend. But he's probably made an inadvertent enemy of her purely because he's clueless and beyond annoying, and is more likely to bring a dark mood to her than cheer her up. So he has to be careful if he sees her in the area.
