Full Name: Bishop Liddel Thompson
Nickname/Alias: BLT, Sandwich Boy
Age/Date Of Birth: 25, born June 23, 1993
Race: Human
Occupation: Hunter
Species Group: Psychic/Hunter
Play-By: Alex Roe
Abilities
Astral Projection: Able to project his awareness out of his body onto the astral plane, though he can only do this when he is sleeping.
Astral Perception: He is able to see onto the astral plane when awake, and can thus see those who are currently projecting their awareness onto that plane if they are nearby him. More often then not he just sees the ghosts and Reapers. Very rarely, he catches brief glimpses of things he'd rather not see again. Bishop tries to communicate with the beings he can see, but he doesn't always succeed in getting the results he wants. This ability also allows bishop to see if someone is being possessed by a ghost.
True Faces: Tying in with the astral perception, he is able to see the true faces of both demons and angels in their vessels. And on some occasions, those of creatures as well. This one terrifies him despite the warning it allows him to have of some of the beings he encounters. He has recently discovered another ability linked to this in regards to the devas in Zeppelin City. While he is still learning about it, he is able to see a blue (angel blood) or red (demon blood) shimmering haze/aura around the head and shoulders of devas. The colors are deep blue/red if someone is a first gen devas, and the colors get lighter the further down the generation chain a deva is.
Visions: He experiences powerful involuntary visions of the future that normally come via dreams, and very rarely they strike him when he is awake. He can also have visions of the past, though these come only if he knows roughly what he wants to view, and requires intense concentration on his part. As he is still mastering this, it leaves him exhausted and he can currently only catch small brief glimpses of the past.
Special Inventory
Hallowed Event Perks
Demon killing knife: This knife is capable of killing all but very powerful demons with a single stab to a vital area, such as the chest or the neck of the demons' vessels. As with the Colt, those killed by the knife briefly glow with orange light, which flickers out as the demon dies. Even non-lethal cuts are excruciatingly painful for almost all demons in the same way that non-lethal cuts from angel blades are to angels. It is also capable of killing hellhounds.

Likes (At Least 3):
❤ Dancing: He loves to rock out to good music, and has no shame about who he dances in front of.
❤ Music: He has an eclectic range of music tastes, and is always hunting down new songs or genres to listen to. He has yet to find any he doesn't specifically like, but he does grow a little bored sometimes with how a lot of modern pop music all seems to sound the same these days.
❤ Pastries: All kinds are his favorite, though chocolate brioche rolls are his absolute favorite. Give him one of these and you'll be in his good books for sure.
❤ Youtube: He just loves watching all sorts of videos on there, though he often finds himself going down some wierd rabbit holes when binge watching.
❤ Bundling up under blankets: He gets so comfortable when wrapped up in a blanket, that he can often be found just so when watching a movie or doodling about on his laptop. Partly, he also feels that they are a safe place for when he is upset about something.
❤ Motorcycles: How can anyone not love riding on one of these?
Dislikes (At Least 3):
✗ Depictions of torture: Due to what happened to his family and himself, he gets really uncomfortable with watching scenes involving torture in movies.
✗ Anything involving the removal of fingernails: Again, related to Abalam's game. After having most of his fingernails ripped out, he gets extremely queasy at the thought/sight of bad things happening to fingernails, and even with his own, if he hits them wrong on something, or scratches them on a surface that gives an odd sensation. Cutting his nails still takes a lot of will power.
✗ Holding things in: He feels that it's not a healthy coping mechanism, and tries to make sure he doesn't do so. Regardless of how unpleasant things may have been, he'll purge it rather than contain it.
✗ Surprise seaweed in murky water: He hates the feeling of plants (well, anything really) brushing against his skin when he's swimming in murky water. Or has his legs dangling in said water.
✗ Centipedes: Insects from hell. He will never not scream like a pansy when he sees these demon bugs skitter by.
Fears (At Least 2):
☬ Abalam: The demon responsible for killing his family and torturing him. He's terrified of encountering the demon again.
☬ Heights: He is terribly fearful of heights above three stories, and it takes a lot of coaxing to get him to cross bridges that are long and high up, or to cross rickety narrow things.
Goals (At Least 1):
★ To find a way to make Abalam pay for taking his family away.
Personality:Bishop is a rather sweet man, who's very caring towards those he loves. If someone has been welcomed into his circle of close friends, Bishop will do his best to keep an eye on them and give them his time and company without complaint. Always willing to listen to others, he is reliable and keeps his word (unless he fears for the safety of his friend and knows he must share the secret in question in order to help them). Bishop is the kind of guy you can wake up at 3 in the morning with a phone call or a text, and he'll talk with you and listen to you for as long as you need to, even if you just need someone to vent to. He has a gentle nature, which can make it hard for him to be a hunter as there are some creatures that it pains him terribly to have to kill them. A lot of people view this as a weakness, and it was something he was teased about by his siblings. Despite being gentle, Bishop will give those he loves a push to do things if he thinks it will be good for them in the long run.
He can be a bit of a dork at times with the way he behaves, and he is a very open individual. Bishop has the opinion that keeping things bundled up inside just leaves them to fester and rot, so he tries to encourage people to not hold things in if something is bothering them. He went through horrible events a couple years back, and when asked about those events he will be honest as he tells everything that happened, as it did. While he may start to cry, and not always be able to meet the eyes of those he is talking to, Bishop will nonetheless openly speak about his torture. Doing so has helped ease the pain of it over the years, though it is still a healing wound.
Despite his gentle and friendly nature, he does know when to put his foot down if someone starts to take advantage of his help. While it can sometimes take a while to get to this point, it's a line that can be crossed eventually. Once he has made up his mind about cutting ties with someone, it can be very difficult to change his. And once his trust has been betrayed, one will have to work very hard to win it back. If he has failed to interpret a vision, he can blame himself for failing to warn someone if it ends in death or terrible injury. Despite knowing he can only warn, never change, what he has seen, he can still go through a period of depression for a short time if he personally knows who was harmed.

Negatives (At Least 3):

✦ Can be a little too gentle at times.

History:
Born to loving parents, Bishop had a childhood that seemed average to him, but to an outsider who knew the truth it would have been rather odd at times. From a young age, Bishop would often speak of things he could see that no others in his immediate family could. Ghosts of people who had died, and sometimes other beings that they weren't...entirely certain what to call. This gift so early was a result from being born to one of the royal psychic families. While his mother and siblings lacked any powers themselves, his father would have cryptic visions and displayed telepathic abilities himself. Thus, he was able to understand that Bishop's display of astral perception was evidence of another generation of psychics in the Thompson family. That didn't necessarily mean he understood the boy's gift, but he did his best to help him. Bishop grew up having a very close relationship with his father, especially once he too began to have visions at the age of 13. What he often saw over the next few years scared and confused him; always there was blood, and death, and it always involved his family. While he confided these to his father, Lionel was never sure what they meant. It made him start to keep a very close eye on their family, Bishop especially, as he tried to puzzle out the warnings that his son had received before he did. For years, nothing happened besides normal school mishaps and sibling rivalry. And gradually, Lionel began to relax his guard.
However, his happy life soon faced the events that Bishop, and eventually his father, had been getting visions about. One day, when he was 17, Bishop awoke to find himself tied to a chair in the living room of his house. Around him was the rest of his family, similarly tied up and coming around. As they struggled to understand what had happened, their captor made himself known to them, and what he saw when he looked at the man terrified Bishop. In his gut he knew he was staring at the true face of a demon, a face that still haunts him to this day because of what came next. The demon called himself Abalam, and he commenced a "game" on the Thompsons. The torture was horrific, and left lasting mental scars on Bishop. As it finally came to an end, his mother and younger sister having succumbed to their injuries, he was made to watch as the demon shot his father and other two siblings, before finally shooting him. Left for dead, Bishop managed to cling to life. He passed out shortly after being shot, and found himself standing outside his body. He had astral projected subconsciously, and was able to catch a glimpse of a reaper leading his brother's soul away as the last of the dead Thompsons to leave. He remained in that state until cops arrived, called by neighbors who had heard the gunshots. He returned to his body and fell into blackness once the first officer entered the room. Bishop was now an orphan, and permanently branded with a large letter "A" on his right shoulder blade as the only physical sign of his torture, along with the scar on his gut from the bullet.
Being only 17, he was put into foster care after making a full recovery from his injuries. He stayed with a woman who insisted she be called "Aunt" Anemone, as she knew she would never be a true replacement for the mothers the kids in her care lost. She was a very kind woman who worked to help Bishop heal from the mental and physical wounds Abalam had left him with. It was a long road to recovery, and he remained with her until he was 21. In a desperate bid to understand what had happened and why his family had been picked, he started studying up on demons. Aunt Anemone found him one day when he was in the midst of study and, to his surprise, revealed that she knew about the supernatural. She introduced him to her friend, a woman named Rosa, who was a hunter. Rosa took Bishop under her wing to train him and prepare him for the life he had decided to dedicate himself to.
For years he hunted with Rosa, learning the craft and trying all the while to hunt down the demon. He honed his psychic gifts as well, determined to have mastery over them, and desperate to be able to understand his visions enough to prevent another tragedy. Bishop has a ways to go in drawing out the full potential of his gifts, but he will get there. While he is aware that there are distant relatives out there, he has yet to have actually met any of them, and hopes he gets the chance to do so one day.

Holding a small glass swan to his eyes with a gloved hand, the dragon carefully turned it side to side to examine. Finding no grime or dust, he smiled in satisfaction as he set it back down. A frown briefly flicked across his face as he delicately turned the swan a millimeter, smiling in pleasure once it was back to its former position. He picked up a delicate Ukrainian painted egg next and set to dusting it with the same care he'd shown the swan. His weekly dusting took him a couple hours to complete, but once he was finished he stood back and examined his precious trinkets with vain pride. After fawning over his hoard for a while, Delwyn plucked the cotton gloves off his hands and tucked them in their designated drawer, stepping to the bathroom to examine himself in the mirror. Carefully brushing his hair and checking the trim on his facial hair, the dragon grinned in delighted pleasure. Still such a fine looking specimen.
A chirp from his phone distracted him as he made his way to the kitchen to get a head start on his dinner plans. Frowning as he read the message, Delwyn sighed heavily and turned his path to the front door. His assistant at the funeral home had pleaded with him to come in, despite his day off, to help deal with the relatives of a new arrival.
"Why do some people have to be so damned difficult." He muttered under his breath, perturbed to have his day off cut short. He tucked his glasses into a case in his messenger bag, before throwing on a coat with a flourish. Dapper as ever, the dragon left his house and made his way to work, continuing to mutter under his breath as he did so.
