Super Strength: Harpies have incredible strength, able to pick up fully grown men high into the air and then drop them.



Super Speed: Harpies are able to move at incredible velocities while flying.



Claws/Talons: Harpies have claws and talons on their feet and hands when in their true form. They are also able to manifest these on their own if need be.



Wing Manifestation: In their true form, Harpies are able to fly with their wings.



Shapeshifting: Harpies can take the form of a human to hide their true form, which is bird-like.












Likes (At Least 3): 

❤ Flight : As a harpy, Corey is capable of winged flight, which he takes advantage of often. While not the most talented flyer, he does find peace and pleasure from spreading his wings. To quote him on his experiences- "There is something...freeing, about flight. You open your wings, and soar through the sky on gusts of wind. The world is yours to conquer, the wind at your beck and call. I don't think there is anything like it in the world..."

❤ Writing / Literature : Corey is a big fan of literature, and in particular, writing. At one point in time, he began a series of short stories called "Worlds Apart, Feet Away", detailing the struggle of being the outcast and the spurned in his own home.

❤ Love : Corey finds both men and women equally enticing, and while he does feel a more...physical attraction to many of them, it's the concept of love that matters most to him. The concept of a partner who he could share every morning with, every waking breath thinking about and worrying over, holding onto until the day that the stars go dark. He wants romance, love, passion.

❤ Morality : Morality is a large part of Corey's ideals, the focus of his fight. While he understands that no person is entirely good, or directly evil, he believes that everyone should do their best to empathize and understand one another. Making choices that benefit the world, rather than causing it detrimental damage.


Dislikes (At Least 3): 

✗ Ignorance : Ignorance breeds hate, and hate breeds ignorance. Corey dislikes the concept of people being ignorant, both out of choice and by simple unawareness. Being cruel because one doesn't understand another person is "stupid and foolish". 

✗ Abuse : Corey puts up with a great deal of abuse, distrust, and hate as a result of being an outed creature. He spends his days listening to taunts, and commentary on his race, which irritates him. He puts up with it most of the time, but it ultimately pushes him further down the rabbit hole of sanity and self-consciousness. 

✗ Fear : Just as ignorance breeds hate, fear breeds both. Fear of something often prevents people from performing acts of greatness, and that worries and irritates the youth.

✗Being Disliked : Corey is a self-conscious young man, who often second-guesses himself. This trait is bolstered when people go out of their way to show him that he is unwanted, distrusted, feared, or simply disliked. As such, he tries to adjust that situation, with little to show for it.
