A few character ties

So I have a few long-time characters who have some ties that I would really love to see in play.  All of these adoptables are tied to long-time, well established characters of mine.  Any face claim listed is a suggestion by me, but I am open to discussing others.

Name:  J. T. (Julian Thomas) Marx
Age:  28 (29 as of 7-4-20)
Suggested Face:  Steven R. McQueen
Species:  Human Hunter
Character Tie:  Julia Marx

J.T. is the twin brother of my character Julia.  They grew up in a very active, outdoorsy family and have always been very close.  It was J.T. who introduced Julia to the supernatural world when he saved her from her possessed fiancé, Alec, on her wedding day.  Unfortunately, he was still fairly new to hunting (or at least not well-versed in hunting demons) at the time and shot Alec before resorting to exorcising the demon out of his body.  This may be something that weighs on his conscience still.  

There is opportunity here to tie J.T. to someone else's hunter character as a mentor if you can make that work, assuming you can make timelines work and such.

Kennedy, Jade, Troy, Dillon and Melody all met in their teens when they, at different points, came to live with a couple who took in runaways named Steve and Laura Coleman. The group as a whole were put to work by the Colemans but they all became their own family and became a very close-knit group of friends. Kennedy had done her best to keep the supernatural world at bay and kept her hunting past a secret from her friends until Dillon was attacked by a skinwalker on the way home from one of Megan's performances.  Once they all became aware of the supernatural, Kennedy taught them everything she knew and the group went on the road as their own hunting team in an RV that was purchased by Melody.

When Kennedy disappeared in December of 2013, Jade took over as defacto leader of the group and although they continued to hunt, most of their focus was on finding their missing friend. By the time Jade vanished in March of 2015, they had come to discover that other hunters they had been in contact with had gone missing as well… vanished without a trace.



Troy, Dillon, and Melody continued hunting in spite of the loss of their two friends. One such hunt in the spring of 2018 led them to a case where victims were missing their hearts. An investigation brought the conclusion that a turf war had broken out between two skinwalker packs, one seemingly far more aggressive than the other. The leader of the believed less aggressive pack bonded with Dillon and, with the group’s help, they managed to take out the other pack. However, Dillon had never had an opportunity to be among others like him, and when it was time to move on, he chose to stay behind for a while. He didn’t intend to leave Troy and Melody permanently, but he felt as though there was a lot he could learn by spending time with a pack, and his friends understood and left without him.



However, it was a few months later when Dillon called Troy, devastated, and asked that he and Melody come back. There had been more deaths in town and Dillon had sadly been the cause of at least one, thanks to the influence of his new pack… a pack that turned out to not be so innocent after all. Troy was heart-broken and furious, and he and Dillon fought brutally until the opportunity was right in front of him to put a silver blade through Dillon’s heart. He was a hunter… he hunted monsters… he protected the innocent… and Dillon had taken a life. But this was also his brother, and he just couldn’t do it. He let Dillon go, but he was faced with the moral dilemma of what Dillon had done and chose to leave that town to hunt on his own, while Melody stayed behind to keep an eye on Dillon..



Troy continued to try to hunt, but what happened with Dillon had caused Troy to lose a lot of focus and he started making more and more small mistakes on hunts. Melody went back to pursuing her music as well as looking into methods of possibly curing Dillon of his curse as a skinwalker, including attempting to learn about magic and magical rituals. All the while, she did her best to keep Troy and Dillon in the know about how things were going with one another. Even though they weren’t on speaking terms, she knew in her heart that they still cared. They were brothers, after all.



The fall of 2018 brought the trio together again once more with the news of the death of Mr. Coleman. No words were exchanged between Troy and Dillon… only awkward, moody glances and after spending a bit of time with Mrs. Coleman in the few days following her husband’s death, Dillon and Melody went back to their lives. Troy, however, had lost his passion for hunting and decided to stay behind and help the old woman with the farm, though he kept it secret from Melody (and in turn, Dillon), letting them believe that he had continued on as a solo hunter.

BTW, you can bet your ass that this as once a group of D&D nerds who once upon a time loved the game and the fantasy genre ;-)  Back in the day, they would refer to their group as a whole as "The Guild."

Troy is a big guy with a big heart.  He is the oldest of the group and is very protective of them.  I am very open for discussion on other aspects of his past and his personality.

As another optional tie, at one point Troy and Jade briefly attempted a romantic relationship but in the end decided that they didn't want to mess up the relationship they had and were better off as friends.  If you choose to take him, this is something you can discuss with Jade's player, Jennz.

Dillon is the second oldest of the group and is very witty and charming. I am open to discuss other aspects of his personality and history.

Melody is the youngest of the group and has a fun, quirky personality. She is a talented musician and very creative. Although she is well-versed in the supernatural, she usually prefers to stay on the research side of things and thinks she's of better use putting her brain to work and leaving the actual hunting to 'the experts'. I am open to discussing other aspects of her past and personality.

Name: Tyler Warren

Character Tie: Emma Jameson, Peyton Winchester, Sam Winchester, among many others

Tyler is from the IHA timeline and is the son of my character Emma as well as the half-brother of my character Peyton and the step-son of Sam Winchester (at least in his timeline). He is close to his sister but is possibly a bit envious that she took the seat on the council because of being Sam's biological daughter, even though Tyler was older. Tyler is currently in play as a 7-year-old NPC. I would like to discuss any ideas you have regarding his personality, relationships, deva abilities, etc.
