Personality: JT’s personality is a bit of a dichotomy. On the one hand, he is a very charismatic, outgoing man while on the other one, he keeps himself guarded, not getting too close to people and only relying on himself, liking to spend his time by himself most of the time. The side he chooses to show highly depends on his moods, that can also tend to fluctuate from one extreme to the other quite easily; having a bit of a short temper, he can easily snap and push people away without much of a trigger, being as stubborn and impulsive as he is. However, JT is also a very caring, protective person and he will do anything in his power to keep the ones he loves safe and happy. When he chooses to let someone in, he does completely and relies in trust to do so, he will always be brutally honest and expects the same from the rest, but is not naïve enough to believe that people will always he trustworthy, which is one of the reasons why he keeps himself distanced from everyone when he first meets them. Despite of the fact that he appears to be very collected and in control, he is a passionate and impulsive man when he lets emotions take control—this side of him scares him a a little, because he knows that emotions make him irrational and he likes being in control all the time, this is why he works hard to be as rational as possible.

History:
JT grew up in a very active, outdoorsy family; always spending their summers camping, practicing different sports and just having an overall very active life; he had a normal childhood, him and his sister being very close since he can remember. Even if he always saw how his father showed his favoritism when it came to Julia, JT never resented her and even appreciated the fact that he was able to do as he pleased, not getting as much attention as she did most of the time; he was always a calm boy, but a very outgoing and charismatic one: having many friends and being relatively popular at school, the quarterback of the football team and usually the leader when it came to any team sports—he was the one who would go from football to baseball to basketball depending on the season.
He never dreamed of a big life, only wanting to be happy and have things under control as much as he could: he knew he wanted to become a doctor and had the brains to do it, getting good grades and being responsible even if he was a bit of a party boy in his teenage years. And it was at one of these parties that he witnessed something that changed his life: in his senior year, the boys from the football team had decided to have a huge party at an abandoned house; at first it didn’t seem like much, they were just wanting to do something different and didn’t really care about the stories of it being haunted. That night, JT decided not to drink because he had been driving his father’s 1964 Pontiac GTO and didn’t want to crash the beautiful classic car. So what happened that night? He was completely sober when it happened.
It had been around two AM when the lights went off, and suddenly it felt like the temperature dropped dramatically. The rest of the kids were getting a little nervous because doors and windows were slamming violently, so they all decided to leave the house and call it a night… and that had been his intention, up until when he heard a girl calling for help from the second floor. Even if his every instinct was telling him to run, Julian ended up running upstairs to go help her; but when he opened the door, what he saw was definitely something he could not stop even if he tried: the girl had been with some guy from the team, probably about to hook up, and somehow the guy was unconscious, a blurry and incorporeal being standing on top of him while the girl screamed from a corner. He wanted to stop the creature, but knew there was nothing he could do as it crushed the guy’s bones as if he had been made of glass without even touching him. JT is never going to be able to forget the sound of the bones breaking and the sounds that came out of the boy’s mouth as he choked on his own blood. It was as if he snapped into survival mode, running to get the girl and basically dragging her out of the house as fast as he could.
After that night, JT swore to himself that he would train and be prepared in case anything like that happened again. He started researching, isolated himself because of how he spent his time training and reading about the supernatural without telling anyone about it, pretending he was studying to get into med school. But being a doctor was a dream he left behind too, deciding he wanted to make a change, that his way of saving people wasn’t going to be inside of a hospital but out there, killing the creatures that lurked in the dark.
It wasn’t even a year after that his sister, Julia—the person he cared about the most— got engaged. Julian was not entirely happy with the decision, but he supported his sister because she seemed to be happy. That was up until when he started noticing changes in her fiancé’s behavior; he could see signs, things that made him think something wasn’t right, it was as if he felt it; and all of his fears were confirmed the day of their wedding: he had been looking for Julia because one of her friends had told him she seemed to be very nervous about the wedding, and that’s how she found her and Alec. He saw the man attacking his sister, and those black eyes. And it was as if he saw red; without thinking, JT grabbed his gun and shot him between the eyes before his brain could process the fact that the other man was actually possessed, that it wasn’t him who was attacking Julia. After he saw the man drop to the floor, he realized what he’d done and exorcised the demon, but it was too late to save Alec.
He knew that even if his sister would never hate him, she would most probably resent him and JT couldn’t blame her for it. So after that day, he decided to take a step to the side and keep to himself—also because he wanted to become a better hunter. He was terrified of ever hurting an innocent like he had Alec, so it became his goal to become the best hunter he could be, forgetting all about college and anything else he had ever planned for his future. Without even thinking about it, he started traveling across the States to gain more experience and find people who could help him become better at what he did. That went on for a while, up until he decided to go home to check on his family.
At first, JT was scared to face Julia, thinking she would tell him to leave, that she would hate him; but that wasn't what happened. After long talks and explanations of what truly happened the day of her wedding, her sister forgave him or, from his perspective, she tried to. It wasn't that he didn't believe her, but Julian blamed himself and couldn't forget it nor forgive his own actions, so the idea of someone else doing it for him? It made no sense to him. But even when JT thought he didn't deserve his sister's forgiveness, he still said yes when she asked for him to teach her all about hunting. This made him stay in town for a little while longer.
And when he left? They left together. Julia decided she wanted to start hunting herself and Julian thought the safest way for her to start doing it would be if she did it with him. That changed things for him, not only because he was constantly worried and proud of his twin but also because suddenly, he wasn't so alone anymore. He took their father's Pontiac with him and they started their life together on the road. It was the best possible scenario for him: doing what he loved the most, with the person he loved the most. But life is never good for long, that much he should've known, because Julia went missing. It was as if she had disappeared into thin air, no way to find her and boy, he tried. But 5 years later, JT still has no idea of where she went.
To cope with what happened, Julian started drinking. He became what you would call a functioning alcoholic of sorts: he hunted and then got drunk, not so much that he would end up passed out but enough that it would dull the pain. It was his sort of routine, and that is what he had been doing until one day he woke up inside of his father’s 1964 red Pontiac GTO not knowing where he was. He didn’t remember the town and neither did he know how he had gotten there. Without really thinking about it, he tried to drive away only to realize that no matter what he did, he ended up getting back. It was as if there was something keeping him from leaving, and he made it his mission to find out what was happening.

The night was cold, colder than it should have been in the middle of summer even for New Orleans and its dense fog. It was a thing, the weather acting weird whenever the witches were at it and Thea knew that all too well, remembering how things were back when she was a kid. Back then she didn’t understand it, though, and the fact that her mother had decided not to take part of the coven made her even more of a stranger to the magic within her blood. But now? Now that her childhood was part of her past and after her parents got killed by the witches because of the very same reason that had made her a normal human being, unbeknown of her family’s roots… now she was back to get rid of them all. And it was cold, so cold that the air chilled her bones and made her shake; or maybe the shaking was due to the anticipation and the fear of what the blonde was about to face. She wasn’t an expert after all: only a twenty years old girl with a mission and the will to go through with it: kill the witches, kill them all.
So she walked down the street towards the Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1 where she knew the coven would be, the fog keeping her eyes from what was more than a couple steps ahead and the click-clacking of her boots the only sound as they hit the concrete of the road. No cars, no people, no animals. Black magic has that effect, you know? Keeping everything away when it’s acting and killing anything that tries to stand on its way. But the huntress was prepared. She’d gotten a very old gun, said to be forged in Hell itself and supposedly, it would kill any witch or monster or demon without a chance of them ever coming back. The Godkiller. So while walking, the young woman thought about how she’d gotten where she was: the way her aunt Patrice had tried to convince Allison —Thea’s little sister— to become a dark witch, a part of the New Orleans coven, how it had resulted in both sisters not talking to each other for over a year despite the elder Rogers’ attempts to fix things, to keep her baby sister from turning into such a pitiful, disgusting thing until there was no choice left but to kill every single witch in the coven. Her own family, her blood. But she was a hunter of the supernatural and killing things like the ones she was about to face? It was her duty. If only she’d been doing it for more than a couple months now…
But now she walked, her attempts to keep her mind from veering into memory lane and anxiety from spiking into higher and higher levels failing miserably… it had been too long since the last time she’d been in the city and the huntress never thought she’d come back, even less to kill the witches that she so desperately wanted to ignore and forget. And as her brain wandered and her thoughts became more and more erratic, the white, thick walls of Saint Louis No. 1 became visible little by little, the black gates opened as if inviting her in and the fog coming out of them almost as if it was coming from inside of it. Maybe it was, she was about to find out. Stopping to check the M1911 that was tucked at the small of her back with the bullets created especially to kill witches and then wrapping her hand around the belt that carried the holster that kept the Godkiller safe, Thea’s blue-green eyes finally glanced up to read the plaque with the cemetery’s name on it. Just a moment, one moment to decide whether she could do this or not, whether she could take on a dozen unnaturally powerful witches all by herself only driven by the anger and resentment, the pain they’d caused. Questioning herself, she breathed in deeply, frowned and cleared her throat as if trying to get rid of the feeling of a lump in there and finally, she took a step forward...
