Personality:
Sweet and bubbly. Positive in general but sometimes kind of expressionless and just listening to something or watching- often gets lost in her own head or in something fascinating about her surroundings. Always curious. She can be very enthusiastic and talkative, almost 'dumping' information about something she loves, but when she's scared or overwhelmed she gets quiet and sometimes can't speak at all. This is one of the things that scares her the most, and she tries not to be alone for this reason in case something happens and she can't call for help. That said, she does at times wish she could be more independent. She sometimes doesn't quite understand things or misses the situation, for example she might not realize how serious something else or else overreact to something that seems small, and she can get frustrated and angry at herself for this. Very rarely, if it all gets too much, she can suddenly become angry and lash out but this is usually at herself. Her siblings try to avoid this at all costs, especially with her psychic abilities starting to develop. However they haven't been able to get her to stop blaming herself and pushing everything down. She can feel stupid at times because of the things she doesn't understand, but she's actually very intelligent- just in a different way. She doesn't often get to show this though. She has an ability to be compassionate towards all kinds of people and species, but this can leave her vulnerable. Usually though she isn't really caught up in all of this- thinking too much can just make her feel bad, and that can make bad things happen (she doesn't know it but it's probably due to the psychic abilities) so she just kind of feels her way through life, doing her thing and being her unique little self, bringing a bit of sunshine into her household as best as she can. Just... don't make her angry.
Eliza is also autistic, and sometimes this can affect her mood swings and the way in which she expresses herself as well as how her abilities manifest. It does also however help her see the beauty and fun in unexpected places, which possibly helped her stay so kind and positive despite her upbringing with the wolves. She can have difficulty understanding and expressing how she feels, which can sometimes lead to sudden outbursts of her psychic ability but for the most part she tries to keep it inside so as not to hurt anyone and this can cause her pain. If she is too overwhelmed though she won't be able to do this. When she is overwhelmed she goes into shutdown, the most obvious symptom of which is becoming non-verbal. This scares her because she feels helpless, and she even carries a whistle so she can call for help if anything happens. She doesn't use her powers a lot in her every day life, partly because she doesn't really understand them but also because she doesn't want to hurt anyone or break anything. When she does use them, it's normally to stim, for example to make the paper cranes move around so she can watch them or moving marbles so that they make a comforting clicking sound.
She is also quite anxious about being out in the world and having social interactions- she finds it confusing and everything too loud and bright. It probably doesn't help that she's out of practice after being at home for so long, but her brother is busy keeping order in the pack and staying out of the way of hunters he won't let her go out alone- not with everything that's out there.

History:
When she was little, Eliza was found wandering around at night by a werewolf pack who smelled the blood on her clothes. She was uninjured but crying and covered in blood, and to this day doesn't remember what happened or how she got there. Assuming something supernatural had taken her family and she had escaped, and smelling something different about her, the pack took her in as part of their family. Over the years members of the pack/family came in and out, often staying with them to recover or get on their feet before moving on, but a few key members have stayed including the leader and a few others. The makeshift family moves around a lot so as not to attract the attention of hunters as although none of them hurt people, they can still attract attention and there have been times in the past when a temporary member has caused trouble for them. Because of this, the family is currently down to only a few members and laying low in a small town to stay out of trouble. Liza often found it upsetting when family members left and she didn't understand it, but it's just the nature of a group like theirs- people move on, and some are kicked out for endangering the others or violence towards humans. Another reason for laying low is that Eliza recently started to get splitting headaches and strange dreams. Her brothers and sister won't tell her what they mean, but they've been more protective since and haven't let anyone new into the pack.
Although her siblings, the ones that stay with them full-time, go to university or small jobs, they mostly keep Eliza at home. Since she was young, they've taught her to be cautious since they know what's out there, but it doesn't stop her from being friendly and having a rather simple and optimistic outlook on life that some might consider innocent.
These days she's allowed to work part-time at a small bookshop, but only during daylight hours and not on the full moon. During the full moon, as well as being at home to stay safe, Eliza often has to take care of her siblings for example by covering for them if someone calls or questions their absence from anything, or even just by leaving out a spare set of clothes and some snacks in the shed for when they get back in the morning.
Eliza is also autistic, but she hasn't been able to access any support since they move so much and she doesn't technically exist anymore (they try and stay off-grid). She manages ok with the support of her siblings but can shutdown when she's by herself and finds being out in the world hard, only really feeling safe at home which in itself keeps changing so can be unsettling. Usually, she considers 'home' to be their car since it doesn't change and she often falls asleep in the back of the pickup. Everywhere she goes she picks up a piece of paper, such as a menu or leaflet, and folds it into a bird or butterfly to hang from the ceiling in her room or line up on the windowsill.

It's a rainy night in London and Louisa is on her way back to the dorm after the rest of her team left the mission early...all of them. Again. But she had survived so, best just to get on with it. She feels something running down her arm. Assuming it's the rain, she stops to check anyway just in case and notices blood from an open claw wound
"Oh"
She honestly hadn't noticed it. Yes, there had been a lot of adrenaline- especially once she'd realised that she was alone once again with no backup- and she was normally in some kind of pain but even so. She was getting slack. No wonder they left her behind.
Blood drips onto the pavement
"Shi-" she hisses, snatching her arm up and wrapping her sleeve around it. Leaving traceable evidence was a stupid mistake and a definite breach of protocol. Fortunately the rain was getting rid of most of it, but she still needed to cover it before she left a trail. The rest of the team took the first aid supplies with them, but she can tie a dressing well enough from the hem of her skirt. It wasn't sterile but it would at least apply pressure. She goes to a quiet part of a side alley first- few things raise the alarm in London faster than a knife- and uses her knife to slice her skirt before tearing it the rest of the way. She would probably be in trouble for damage to property but it was better than the punishment for compromising security by leaving evidence. It's a bit tricky to tie a knot one handed though, so she crouches down behind a bin to lean her arm on her knee. And that's when she hears it
mew
Her head shoots up, automatically ready to defend herself. She reaches for her knife again and turns towards the sound to see..
a very small, wet, and thoroughly un-threatening kitten. It mews again pitifully, hobbling over to her as best it can while shivering with cold. Bright blue baby eyes shine at her from a cloud of soggy brown fur. She wonders if it was meant to be white were it not for the dirt. She reaches out slowly, gently offering a hand for the kitten to sniff. She expects it to be scared and cautious but instead of approaching fearfully it all but runs into her, not stopping at her hand but practically falling onto her foot
"Oh no" she picks it up delicately, its body so small under all the fur. It mews back and it seems to tug at her heart. Usually she was meant to block out emotion and she knows she shouldn't feel anything for this little cat, let alone help it, but it doesn't feel like a choice anymore. She just has to.
"Hello little one" she whispers, carefully lifting it up to eye level to get a better look at it in the dark. The cat reaches forward and licks her nose. She giggles softly then stops herself. Did I just...laugh? That was very strange. And probably not at all permitted under the 'no emotions' training. But she couldn't help it. Even as she tries not to care she can feel a smile forming on her face. She shakes her head as though trying to get rid of it. She puts it down again and goes back to tying the fabric
"You should go back to your family, okay?"
The cat walks into her again, scrambling to get on her lap
"Okay, okay, hold on" She finishes tying the makeshift dressing and looks down at the kitten. He must have a family, right? They were probably nearby...
She stands up and goes to look around the alley, the kitten close at her heels. Finding nothing she sighs and looks down at it "Where are they, huh?"
A sad mew
"Well... I'll wait with you for a bit until they come back. How's that?" She crouches back in the same spot and waits for a bit. The kitten nuzzles in and after a while begins to purr. Looking down she realises she was stroking him "oh. um..." She sighs and lifts him up. It feels like it's been ages. Surely a mother cat or owner would have come for him now
"Where's your family? Your mum and dad?...You don't have any?"
"Yeah...I don't either"
It's quiet except for the steady rain drumming the lid of the bin as they look at each other.
"You must have someone though." He nuzzles into her and yawns "Unless...unless they left you behind" The drumming seems to grow louder as she feels something familiar in the pit of her stomach, a sickening realisation that she was so used to. Except this time she felt it for someone else.
She strokes his head gently "I know the feeling" she whispers. For a moment there may be tears in her eyes but she would say it's just the rain. For the smallest of moments, in a random alley in the rain, she allows herself to admit just a little bit to this tiny cat a glimpse of how lonely she really is.
