Mission Type: Human, hunters — Cases (Monster of the week)
Story: A group of young surfers was gathering daily at the beach to have fun and enjoy the waves near Zeppelin city. They had been doing it for about half a year since summer began and now through winter despite the weather, they still tried. There were ten of them, and according to official sources, an eleventh joined about two weeks and a half before the members of the impromptu club started going missing. At first, the rest of the group didn’t think much of it: for some reason, they had decided to start surfing at night; apparently, the idea of it makes it sound cooler. So when some of them went missing? The group just assumed they had bailed because of the cold, the lack of light, there were multiple reasons (one of them being the rest of the group were too stoned to even process the fact that they were missing).
So, maybe it was the fact that the young group was high half of the time, or maybe they weren’t as tight as they liked to say, but the fact is they never reported any missing person up until one of the corpses washed up on the beach. Already rotting and missing most of the flesh and even bones, it was hard to identify it, but the official version was that it was, in fact, one of the missing surfers. There was nothing to go with, no significant clues: for all they knew, they could’ve drowned. Until the very last one of the interviews with one of the young men who could be potential witnesses: Brad. Right before the interview had been declared over, the long-haired man blurted out a “Man, that goddamn giant snake should’ve been a reason, like some sort of apocalyptic sign or some shit like that”. When asked about what he was talking about, Brad stated that before his friends started disappearing, they had found a 9 feet snake skin on the beach.
NPCs: Police officers investigating the case, Brad and the rest of the surfers.
Storyteller: Thea, but anyone who joins the case can also contribute and even take over if they want.
