Abilities
Demonic Possession - Like angels, demons require a human vessel or "meat suit" to travel on Earth. Unlike angels, they do not need a person's consent. Also, unlike angels, demons can possess corpses. It is easier to take control of people who are in states of heightened emotions or fear. This ability can be thwarted by Anti-possession tattoos. Also under certain circumstances, the person being possessed can regain control if his or her will is strong enough.
Electromagnetic Interference - Demons, like spirits, often disrupt nearby electronics with their presence.
Flight - Only when in their natural forms.
Immortality - Demons have an indefinitely long lifespan and an arrested aging process.
Invulnerability - Injuries that would be fatal to humans, such as broken necks or gunshot wounds, have very little - if any - effect on demons. They can only be killed by special weapons or rituals. Unlike angels they don't heal their vessels. If the "meatsuit" receives too much damage they simply find another human to possess, leaving their former vessel to die.
Super stamina - Demons never tire, and do not require food, water, oxygen, or sleep to sustain themselves. They also do not get hot or cold.
Super strength - Demons possess superior physical strength compared to that of humans; capable of physically overpowering humans and most monsters. The higher ranking the demon, the stronger it is. The highest ranking demons can overpower low-level angels.
Supernatural Perception - Demons are able to see hidden supernatural activity and beings, such as Reapers, ghosts, and Hellhounds
Supernatural Senses - Demons have an enhanced sense of smell and taste.
Telekinesis - Demons can move or suspend objects and other beings with their minds. Higher ranking demons can use this ability to kill people by snapping their necks.
Biokinesis - Some demons can manipulate the biology of other beings
Electrokinesis - Being able manipulate electronic equipment to their will.
Invisibility - Some demons can become invisible to humans.
Pyrokinesis - Some demons can generate and manipulate fire.
Magic - Bridget managed to keep her ability to use magic even after turning into a demon, she especially knows how to use dark magic, in all its variations.
Spell Casting - Some demons can practice witchcraft, much like witches, like altering the range/space they occupy. Other demons are adept in Enochian magic which they use to protect themselves from Angels.
Teleportation - Some demons can travel from one place to another instantly, without occupying the space in between.
Thermokinesis - Being able to manipulate the temperature, particularly to make it more hot.
Healing - The ability to heal others out of the context of a deal, albeit a small wound.

Personality:
Bridget has an exaggerated sense of self-importance adding to her entitlement that makes her expect to be recognized as superior, this comes from her necessity of achieving her goal of becoming one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful witch, back when she was alive. These traits followed her after she became a demon, the nature of these creatures even accentuating the characteristics to a degree.
She truly believes she's superior and that she should only associate with equally special and/or powerful individuals, which makes her look down on those she perceives as "inferior". Being a very driven and determinate woman, she won't stop to get what she wants, going as far as taking advantage of others to get it, insisting that she deserves the best of everything and becoming angry or impatient when they don't receive the treatment she believes she deserves. She usually comes across as arrogant or having a haughty manner, conceited, boastful and pretentious as she can be.
Her moral compass is near to non-existent, not because she has a limited understanding of morals and ethics, but because the demon simply does not care about them. Despite all of this, she is extremely capable of appearing as sweet, caring and even righteous. Deceiving people is, after all, part of her talents, to a point where it can be said that she has the personality of a Malignant Narcissist with psychopathic traits. If she wants to please someone or get something from them, Bridget will be whatever they want her to be, and will be absolutely believable while doing so.

History:
Bridget Bishop was the first person executed for witchcraft during the Salem witch trials in 1692. She was born in 1632 as Bridget Playfer (later changed to Bishop after she got married to Edward Bishop) in England, presumably in Norwich which is where she got married the first time.
Learning about magic at a very young age, Bridget fell in love with the dark arts and started practicing in secret, learning as much as she could and developing a very intense liking for the dark magic, its power luring her into that world, making her want to know more, be more powerful and to decide she would get there, no matter the cost.
It was because of this reason that she killed her first husband, Samuel Waselby —with whom she had three kids: John, Benjamin and Mary—, after she had been working with blood and soul magic, trying to learn the secrets of it using a grimoire she had gotten her hands on. Using the man's heart, Bridget managed to attract a much more important man, one that would take her to the New World, where she could learn more about traditions that she couldn't understand from England. There she had learned from the druids and the Occidental magic, but The Americas hiding many secrets within its lands, old, sacred traditions that the witch couldn't wait to learn. This is how she ended up married to Thomas Oliver, a a widower and prominent businessman with whom she had yet another son: Christian Oliver, a man she never really took much care of, far too busy as she was with the matters of the Dark Arts. Bridget was accused of bewitching Thomas to death, but the town never found enough proof to actually declare her guilty.
And so she moved on with her life, moved on from her son and continued developing her skills with magic. Bridget knew no limits and would do whatever it took to become more powerful, the most powerful if she could. This is why she became a part of the Black Rose Coven, a place where the redhead thought she would be able to reach new limits, to be able to learn and dominate more difficult, elaborated and powerful magic. And at the same time, she knew she needed a cover, a story to tell the world and a role to fulfill so that no one would suspect of her ways. And so she married Edward Bishop, a marriage that brought Lily Bishop to the world. And a marriage that wouldn't last long: a prosperous lawyer and one of the founders of the First Church of Beverly. Alongside him, Bridget ran two taverns where she was always seen as an independent woman who was always surrounded by friends and admirers, wearing exotic bright colors —mostly red and a deep green— and taking part in activities that were not entirely proper for a woman back in those times.
And so time passed. About ten years after she got married again and started a life where she could practice and be free to do as she pleased, in 1692, Bridget Bishop was examined due to her accusation of suspicion of foundry acts of witchcraft. Bishop was accused of bewitching five young women: Abigail Williams, Ann Putnam, Jr., Mercy Lewis, Mary Walcott, and Elizabeth Hubbard. Several people testified against the woman, stating that her shape would pinch, choke or bite them. This supposed shape, also threatened to drown one victim if she did not write her name in a certain book, and there were plenty more allegations, some of them real, some of them frankly ridiculous.
During the trial, it is said that anytime Bishop would look upon one of those supposed to be tortured by her, they would be immediately struck down and only her touch would revive them, and it got to a point where even her husband, Edward, claimed she praised the devil. Bridget's trial lasted eight days and was recorded to be the first woman to die from hanging, officially starting off the Salem Witchcraft Trials, most of which were unfair trials against women that were simply too advanced for their time, women who were not witches, or at the very least not evil witches who ended up hanging for crimes that hadn't committed. Only in this case in particular? She had done most of what she'd been accused of... and more.
Bridget, in her hunger for power, her greed and cunning ways, had made a deal with a crossroads demon, one that would grant her immense power in exchange of her soul, which the redhead gave away gladly. Which is why, after she was executed, the witch ended up in Hell, where her soul was twisted and tortured for years, shaping her into a demon that would remain the same Bridget Bishop, only worse. Her hunger for power was still there, the woman was still in love with magic, and magic only and would never stop searching for ways to become more powerful, an eternal search for more of that which had been taken away from her when they declared her a witch publicly in 1692.

Alias: Thea
How did you find us?: Disboard
Experience: About 13 years.
Other Characters: Becca, Amber, Odette, Cas, JT, Janet
RP Sample: The night was cold, colder than it should have been in the middle of summer even for New Orleans and its dense fog. It was a thing, the weather acting weird whenever the witches were at it and Thea knew that all too well, remembering how things were back when she was a kid. Back then she didn’t understand it, though, and the fact that her mother had decided not to take part of the coven made her even more of a stranger to the magic within her blood. But now? Now that her childhood was part of her past and after her parents got killed by the witches because of the very same reason that had made her a normal human being, unbeknown of her family’s roots… now she was back to get rid of them all. And it was cold, so cold that the air chilled her bones and made her shake; or maybe the shaking was due to the anticipation and the fear of what the blonde was about to face. She wasn’t an expert after all: only a twenty years old girl with a mission and the will to go through with it: kill the witches, kill them all.
So she walked down the street towards the Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1 where she knew the coven would be, the fog keeping her eyes from what was more than a couple steps ahead and the click-clacking of her boots the only sound as they hit the concrete of the road. No cars, no people, no animals. Black magic has that effect, you know? Keeping everything away when it’s acting and killing anything that tries to stand on its way. But the huntress was prepared. She’d gotten a very old gun, said to be forged in Hell itself and supposedly, it would kill any witch or monster or demon without a chance of them ever coming back. The Godkiller. So while walking, the young woman thought about how she’d gotten where she was: the way her aunt Patrice had tried to convince Allison —Thea’s little sister— to become a dark witch, a part of the New Orleans coven, how it had resulted in both sisters not talking to each other for over a year despite the elder Rogers’ attempts to fix things, to keep her baby sister from turning into such a pitiful, disgusting thing until there was no choice left but to kill every single witch in the coven. Her own family, her blood. But she was a hunter of the supernatural and killing things like the ones she was about to face? It was her duty. If only she’d been doing it for more than a couple months now…
But now she walked, her attempts to keep her mind from veering into memory lane and anxiety from spiking into higher and higher levels failing miserably… it had been too long since the last time she’d been in the city and the huntress never thought she’d come back, even less to kill the witches that she so desperately wanted to ignore and forget. And as her brain wandered and her thoughts became more and more erratic, the white, thick walls of Saint Louis No. 1 became visible little by little, the black gates opened as if inviting her in and the fog coming out of them almost as if it was coming from inside of it. Maybe it was, she was about to find out. Stopping to check the M1911 that was tucked at the small of her back with the bullets created especially to kill witches and then wrapping her hand around the belt that carried the holster that kept the Godkiller safe, Thea’s blue-green eyes finally glanced up to read the plaque with the cemetery’s name on it. Just a moment, one moment to decide whether she could do this or not, whether she could take on a dozen unnaturally powerful witches all by herself only driven by the anger and resentment, the pain they’d caused. Questioning herself, she breathed in deeply, frowned and cleared her throat as if trying to get rid of the feeling of a lump in there and finally, she took a step forward...
