Personality: Harper is a very bubbly, outgoing, friendly person that loves to help others and make them laugh along the way. She has always loved making people laugh or smile, especially when they're down. Her type of personality is one where it's hard to be mad at her. She is either cracking jokes or trying to nurture someone. She also has a lot of spunk and feistiness behind her. With how outgoing Harper is, it goes without saying that she is a huge people person. Being around others keeps her social bar where it needs to be and keeps her in a good mood. Harper often finds herself spreading a bit to thin with the amount friends she has because she tries to be everywhere at once. So, saying she is a people pleaser would be an accurate description of her.
There aren't a lot of things that really irritate Harper, but she lets you know if she crosses her irritable mark. When she starts getting annoyed though, she keeps her cool and stays calm is almost every situation until she's pushed to the edge. She has a good poker face when it comes to hiding emotions she doesn't want others to see. Harper doesn't like showing her vulnerable emotions in front of others because she feels like she always has to be the strongest and happiest person in the room. Not her best trait and it tends to weigh on her from time to time. When the flood gates finally come open though, Harper has a tendency to take things out on those around her and get a little nasty while she does it. She can pick out any little flaw and tear it down on someone when the weight of everything starts to break down on her. In the end, she always hates herself for it and does everything to make it up to those she exploded on.

History: Harper Amanda White is the first born to Marshall and Zoey White and it has always shown. Growing up, Harper was given a lot of what she wanted but she was also pretty sheltered along the way. Her mom was that over protective mom that would freak out over a scrapped knee. Marshall was the level headed one thankfully and he was a lot more relaxed than Zoey. She had a great childhood and she has always been pretty spoiled. When she fell in love with dancing and ballet as a kid, she always had the best everything. Dance shoes, clothes, teachers. Her dad being a veterinarian, it was easy to spoil her. Harper stayed in dances classes all the way through high school as well. She has this fire and competitiveness in her that drove her to compete in dance competitions, and boy did she have a drive to win. In high school, she took up cheerleading as well and the competitiveness of the sport was intoxicating to her. One of her biggest regrets with her own competitiveness though is during one of her state cheer competitions when she was sixteen years old, her mom went into labor with her little sister. Harper told her dad to go that she couldn't leave and she missed her little sister's birth. Though she couldn't take it back, she took it upon herself to shower her baby sister with so much love. Leighla has been one of Harper's favorite things in this world since she was born. Between dance and cheer competitions, her family, and her friends, Harper started to realize that she was biting off more than she could chew. It became the new normal for her to have a packed schedule, but she never once complained to anyone and still kept up with everything.
After high school, Harper spent countless hours trying to decide what she wanted to do with her life and the only thing she could come back to was dance. So, she went to the dance studio where she took classes and decided talk to the owner about giving her a job as an instructor. She pulled up the fact that she had so much experience in dance and even cheer. The girl pretty much sold herself as she best thing that the dance studio has ever seen and she got lucky enough for the owner to tell her that she had a job there. At that point in her life, Harper felt like she had it all. The perfect family, the perfect job, the most amazing friends. Teaching dance became a huge part of her life and she felt like she found her calling and exactly what she was supposed to do. While she missed the competition, she was on the other side of it. Harper actually had many successful students and groups win competitions and she started to become a well known instructor for the studio.
On Harper's 24th birthday, she showed up late to her own party because she was teaching a class that day. Her mom pulled her to the side and told her that she was starting to weigh herself down again and that she needed to take a break. Zoey told her a couple of stories about her sister, Mandy, and how she had a tendency to do that from time to time. She pulled out a photo album and gave it to Harper to look through because she always reminded Zoey so much of her sister. Harper always found it weird that she looked just like her aunt, but genetics are weird so she never really questioned it. She flipped through the album, looking at pictures of Mandy from old Christmases, high school prom, and birthdays. It really hit her that she never really took the time do go to proms and she was just late to her own birthday. Zoey guilt tripped Harper with the fact that she lost her sister too soon and she didn't want to do the same with her daughter. Especially without spending enough time with her. So, from that day on, Harper took it upon herself to try and give her family a little more time than what she had been. She even tried making more time for herself on the side.

*He looks down at her and then back to the water* “Yeah, because you like being praised.”
*She raises her eyebrows a little and slowly nods* “This is true. No point in denying it.”
*Brandon just shakes his head and relaxes*
You love it though.” *She says, watching as the sun starts to set and they just relax for the rest of the evening and enjoy the scene in front of them*
