History:

Born in Hampshire, England, Everleigh is the youngest of the Simpson family. Born to Alex and Alice Simpson and the younger sister of Jonah and Lucian. Lucian being her half brother (her fathers oldest son from a previous relationship). They spent the first ten years of Everleighs life as a normal, happy family.

Then on the eve of Everleighs tenth birthday everything changed. The family home was broken into and the Simpson family were slaughtered. Everleigh was the only survivor and in ways her fate was much, much worse. The leader of what she soon found out was a vampire coven, who took a liking to the strikingly pretty ten year old, took her captive instead of murdering her.

After three years being his captive including being fed from, abused and chained she was sold on to another vampire coven to cover a debt owed. This coven took her along to America and has now been her home for seven long years, eventually she struck up a ‘friendship’ with one of the lower vampires of this new coven who, upon trusting her was lax with her restraints one evening (Once she turned eighteen the abuse turned to a sexual nature as well as physical and of course she also remained the covens ‘food source’) she used this lax in his judgment to escape. A plan she’d been plotting for years but has only just had the chance to execute.

Holly glanced up through the big window situated just above the kitchen sink. It looked out upon their backyard, and more importantly Imogen who was playing happily with her dolls on the patio. Holly herself was washing dishes, the pair having just finished up lunch. Imogen enjoyed her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. At least she was old enough now to not smear it all in her beautiful blonde curls.

The sun was high in the sky, the height of summer hitting so she’d been sure to cover the toddler in sunscreen before she’d gone to play, not that Holly would let her stay outside for too long. Plus the mom provided plenty of juice boxes from the refrigerator.

Holly loved to watch Imogen play, to see her imaginative little brain picking out scenarios. Right now she overheard her talking about one of her Barbie’s having a baby in her tummy, just like her mommy did. That made Holly smile. To see how excited Imogen was to become a big sister warmed her heart.

Speaking of the baby growing inside Holly, it kicked, making the expectant mother drop a hand to her shirt to caress her very round belly. She was definitely already bigger than she had been with Imogen, and she still had three months almost to go! This one was definitely taking after it’s daddy. Holly was petite, about 5’3 so her husband was over a foot taller than she was. At times it looked quite comical; but it had never been a problem. If anything Holly likes it because it made her feel secure and safe to have such a giant scary looking guy keeping them safe. One that she knew was really just a giant teddy bear.

“Are you going for some kind of record kid?” She asked with a smile, looking down at her belly. She had a defined Chicago accent, and probably always would. “I think kickboxing is in your future” She did that often, talked to her bump. After all when Keith was away she only had Imogen and now bump to talk with really.

“Let mommy finish the dishes and then we can go sit outside with your sister for a bit” She said with one last stroke of her hand around the white vest top that was stretched to fit over what was once a flat stomach, now more resembling a beach ball.

Even in the summer sun Holly wore a cardigan, she was always cold and basked happily in the summer months, though even she’d admit being pregnant in the summer wasn’t the most enjoyable experience. She did wear maternity jeans though, they were a blessing and she was fairly sure she’d wear them even after the baby was born, with all their extra support and stretchiness.

She’d left her own blonde hair loose today, having showered this morning she’d not had time to dry it with the hair dryer and had allowed it to dry naturally, which left her with soft curls much like Imogen’s too now that it was dry.

Dishes finished Holly moved to the refrigerator to fetch herself a diet soda and Imogen another juice, emptying the contents of the juice into a plastic cup, having learned the hard way about giving Imogen juice boxes that she could spray everywhere!
