Full Name: Helen Park
Nickname/Alias: Blood Hound (call sign)
Age/Date Of Birth: 47, 14th March 1974
Race: Creature
Occupation: Military
Species Group: Skinwalker, Foxhound
Play-By: Grace Park
Abilities
Shape-shifting - Like Werewolves, Skinwalkers possess the ability to transform into canines. Unlike werewolves, however, skinwalkers transform completely into an animal rather than a hybrid man/wolf creature. Skinwalkers can change from their human to animal forms anytime without a full moon.
Infectious bite - Like Werewolves, Skinwalkers possess a poisonous bite; if someone is bitten by a Skinwalker, he or she will also become a Skinwalker.
Enhanced Sense of Smell - They can smell far better than humans, in either form. Using this ability, they can tell if they are being followed or if someone is in the vicinity, within an approximate range of 100 yards or more. They possess this ability even in the human form.
Super-hearing - A skinwalker's hearing is better then humans, like a dog's.
Accelerated Healing - They appear to be able to heal themselves much faster than humans.
Enhanced Strength - Their strength seems to be greater than the average human's, as in its dog form it was able to kill humans. Their strength appears to increase with rank (much like vampires), as the Pack Leader is able to beat lower ranks around with no difficulties. It seems that it's only in their canine form that they possess their strength.
Super Speed - Skinwalkers, in their animal form, can run and move faster than humans.
Invulnerability - Like many other shapeshifters, Skinwalkers can only be killed by silver bullets to the heart or head. They can, however, be injured.

Personality Helen normally tries to see the good in any situation. She came from a happy background so she tries to act all sunshine and rainbows, even when things get tough. Except during the times she is serving in war, then Helen gets serious. She knows the world can be a bad place, especially for creatures hunted by hunters so she tries to make others happy, even if for a short while. During those times the woman would make bad dad jokes and not read the room. If someone she cares about is hurt then nurse Helen kicks in. She can't perform surgery but the skinwalker can pop back in dislocated shoulders and perform tracheostomy, making a hole in the windpipe for another airway. Although she tries to be all happy shiny people, it can come across annoying to others especially those that don't know her.

Parents: Linda Park (mother), Brian Park (father)
Siblings:
Other Family: Henry Park (grandfather), Marion Park (grandmother), Karen Williams (grandmother), Jacob Williams (grandfather)
Important Others: Major Bob Doggett (friend at work), Jessie Brown (Closest friend), Brian Cooper (family friend), Bob Russo (family friend)
History: Both of her parents are skinwalkers who decided to have a kid. They ran in the same pack, being turned into skinwalkers without being asked. As was their military squad. Eventually the two left the pack and decided to have their own family. Of course they both came from military backgrounds. The squad did keep in close contact with each other, some still in service, others having retired. So Helen was a purebred skinwalker without having been bitten.
She had a normal childhood throughout her young age, and still now during her adult years. She spent family time hunting in dog form chasing down deer, elk, whatever they could find during their weekly trips. Hellen was home schooled from kindergarten until the start of high school, where she was allowed to join public school. Her parents were confident she would keep the family secret. Who was going to believe someone could turn into a dog? Unless they were raised by hunters, you never know. Going to high school was a bit of an awkward for the skinwalker at first, being new to a crowded place and being swarmed with new smells. Eventually Helen adjusted and began to make friends, eventually losing the title of the weird kid.
Following the family history Helen joined the military. She used her keen senses to her advantage during missions like tracking wanted targets, or search and rescue. This helped her to rise up in the ranks with her tracking abilities. Some of her parents' friends watched out for her. Helen was apart of the search and rescue team since that what she was best suited for. So her training extended to also being an on field medic.

RP Sample: "Don't do that." called out over the top of her computer without even looking at a teen trying to dog ear a page in a library book. To her that was sacrilege. Tamara looked over the top of the monitor staring at the teen coldly until he merely shut the book and pushed it aside. Nothing was more sinful than a damaged book. She was angry before, but that just added to it. It had been more than a week since she heard from Matt. She was mad and worried that he had not called. It was not the first time he had gone more than a month without making contact. Either it was for her protection, or he just forget, she still couldn't help but worry. Worried that the next news report was of his body being found, or locked in prison for protecting someone.
Finally it was closing time. Tamara just locked the doors when someone grabbed her from behind. Gasping in fear, she spun around, trying to go for the mace in her bag when she saw it was one of Matt's hunter friends and shut her eyes, putting a hand over her racing heart. "Wear a bell next time." she said, looking up at him calming down now.
"And give up on these nights? I don't think so." Rick said with a smirk.
She lightly slapped his chest, pulling the strap up higher on her shoulder. "Got plenty of left overs, just needs to be reheated." With a grin, Rick walked Tamara to his car. He stopped by every couple of weeks for home cooking, otherwise it would be nothing but noodles and take out, which littered the floor of his car. "Still living clean I see." she said arching a brow as she lifted an empty burger wrapper and threw it over to the back seats.
"You know if I clean, you'd have nothing to complain about." he said with a cheeky grin. She scoffed, climbing into the car. "No wonder you and Matt get along so well." The smile slowly drained from her face. "Has there been any word?"
Rick had to look at the road as he pulled out from the side and started driving. He heard nothing from Matt either. "No. Not a word or peep. I'm sure he had lost his phone or been busy and lost track of time. " They were close friends, even been on a few hunts together when they came up against something more than one alone could handle.
She looked out the side window, lightly chewing on her thumbnail in worry, trying not to let her imagination get the better of her. Tamara was sure Matt was safe, just being his usual forgetting to call self. When he came home, he was going to be grounded until he turned forty.
