Personality: Brooke is a passionate, ambitious, full of imagination, assertive, loyal and honest woman. Her personality as a whole is enticing to most people because she’s very charismatic and enjoys making other people feel good; this goes very well with her naturally flirty ways, which more often than not give others the wrong impression, making them feel that she might want more out of relationships that, to her, are meant to just be either superficial or just friendships. She is always trying new things, never able to find something that makes her feel completely satisfied. She loves traveling, having interesting conversations, and meet people who challenge her in different ways, always attracted to those who seem interesting and keep her on her toes.
Generally a friendly person, Brooke can also be petty, jealous, and resentful; she tries not to hold grudges but is hard for her when she encounters people who treat others poorly. Having a bit of a hero complex, she’s impulsive and will try to help if she sees someone who’s in need, but does not have patience for those who keep making the same mistake and won’t risk herself twice if the first time they didn’t learn their lesson.
Usually, other people think she’s enticing and mysterious, even if she herself does not think she has much to hide, considering herself a very simple person. She's ambitious, empowered, and passionate; her determination and willpower being a big part of her personality. This makes it so that she exudes confidence even if she's not always feeling it, and has a tendency to silently dissect people in order to determine their true nature and see through their falsity and hollowness because honest and genuine people are her favorite kind.

History: Brooke Rosenberg was born in London, England in the year 1994. She was the second-born child of Giles and Victoria Rosenberg. Her childhood was spent with her three years older brother named Andrew and a younger sister named Dayanne, while her parents went from one business trip to the other; Giles was a successful businessman, owner of a multinational professional services network providing audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory, tax, and legal services with over 100.000 professionals globally, which meant he spent a lot of time away from home with her mother, always wanting to make the business grow in order to give his children the best life he could provide. Because of this, Brooke, Andrew, and Dayanne were basically raised by their nannies—something that never affected any of them negatively. They were happy, had a normal childhood, good family memories, and more than anyone could ever ask. That was until her parents came back home before Christmas in 2008.
Unbeknown to their children, Giles and Victoria had been trying to adopt a kid for about a year, and it was that winter that they came back home with an 11 years old girl named Olivia. The girl, according to Brooke’s mother, had a very hard upbringing and ended up in the system at a young age, never able to find a family that could give her what she needed; she suffered from Dissociative identity disorder (DID), also known as multiple personality disorder (MPD), which is a mental disorder characterized by the maintenance of at least two distinct and relatively enduring personality states. The Rosenbergs had adopted her hoping to be able to help her, give her the love she needed and show her that there was more to life than what she’d seen so far. Being a pretty simple girl, Brooke was more than happy to welcome this new sibling into the family, and so was her older brother; Dayanne, however, wasn’t too happy about the idea. The then seven years old felt wary about this new kid, she kept saying that Olivia wasn’t normal, and that didn’t bode well with the parents, who took it as their youngest being jealous and discriminative towards this new girl they’d made a part of their family.
Brooke was 14 years old by then, but even if she was young, she could see how things were worsening at home. Her parents started arguing often, unable to understand why Dayanne wouldn’t accept their new sibling; while this all happened, her younger sister kept insisting about how Olivia was evil, how she was not like the rest of them. Andrew, who was 17 at the time, distanced himself as much as possible. And so Brooke was left to her own devices, which wasn’t such a bad thing. She didn’t get into much trouble, other than how she’d started smoking with her friends after school the girl was pretty much well behaved despite the fact that no one was actually keeping an eye on her. She didn’t want to take distance from her family as her brother had been doing, but also didn’t want to be at home as much as she used to due to how tense things were. All in all, the family dynamic worsened day after day, but Giles and Victoria refused to let go of the kid they’d adopted so they kept trying. Until the Christmas Eve of 2010; that day they didn’t give up on Olivia, they gave up on life as a whole.
They had been an argument before dinner which ended with Brooke hiding in her room, practicing some guitar playing to distract herself. She could hear Dayanne knocking on her door, asking for her to let her hide because Olivia was coming for her with black eyes and evil; it wasn’t the first time she’d heard her little sister had been talking crazy shit like that, and so far everyone had decided to ignore her thinking she was simply trying to find a way to get the attention they thought she’d been seeking. And then he knocking stopped, and there was silence.
Dayanne didn’t show up for dinner, and when Victoria went to find her, she wasn’t in her room either. The entire family spent the night trying to find the girl, desperation taking over due to how cold it was. Sadly, by the time they found her, Brooke’s sister wasn’t breathing anymore. The police said it had been an accident, that the girl had probably just been trying to hide or something like that, and that it had been the unforgiving weather and the snow that had ended her life. But that’s not how it felt like to Brooke; everything Dayanne had been saying before dying, how she had been so sure of something being wrong with the girl… somehow, it all started making sense to her now: ever since Olivia had been brought to her home, things had changed for the worst. And apparently, Victoria felt the same way.
Fights between the parents got worse, and all Brooke could do was talk to Andrew about what she thought, but he wouldn’t believe her, thinking that she was simply going crazy because of what had happened to their sister.
A couple of months went by and suddenly Brooke’s mom seemed to be looking ill, bruises would appear on her skin, nightmares wouldn’t let her sleep; the woman was withering little by little, and not even the best doctor money could buy seemed to be able to help them find out about whatever was happening to her: physically she was perfectly healthy, and it seemed the problem was more psychological than anything—this didn’t surprise anyone, given what the woman had gone through, and the theory of it all being self-harm and her own brain doing it all to her didn’t sound farfetched at all. So not many were surprised when in November of 2011 Victoria was found dead with cuts on her wrists. They said grief had taken her, and that she’d taken her husband with her because Giles was found there with her too, both dead.
By then, Brooke had been 17, still too young to be taken seriously according to Andrew, but the young woman knew something was wrong. She had seen Olivia’s weird behaviors: her room smelled like rotten eggs, she would smile and smirk whenever their parents were fighting, and ever since Dayanne had died, Brooke had been trying to find the signs her little sister had been talking about: black eyes? Check. The girl had seen it… either that or she was going insane. Which is what her brother thought was happening. And from there it all spiraled.
It had been two weeks since her parents had died and things were getting worse and worse. Olivia seemed to know that Brooke had realized she wasn’t a normal human being, and all her cruel behaviors started being targeted towards her the same way Dayanne had said she’d been doing to her in the past. But Brooke was older, she wasn’t going to just take it: she would constantly ask Andrew to get rid of the girl so that they could continue their lives, but her brother was already struggling, having to take care of their family business at an extremely young age and so the best thing he could do was to send Brooke away as soon as she turned 18. Andrew sent her to America, not wanting her to be a problem for the business and instead just making sure she’d have all the money she needed to do anything she wanted without her being an issue for the business.
And so she left, bought a one-way ticket to America, and decided to start a new life, albeit not a very healthy one. Brooke started partying, drinking, smoking all the while knowing that was not what she wanted for the rest of her life; she was aware of how these things could ruin her, and always tried to keep them under control even if her entire life seemed to be upside down at the time being. It was a good thing that Andrew never asked too many questions, simply giving her access to all the money she needed; so the blonde got herself a car and started driving across the States. And that’s how she met Jace.
Jace Milford was a handsome man, and one that immediately got her interest, which was a rarity on its own when it comes to Brooke—she’d always been a very flirty woman, but usually got bored of men not too long after she met them; to her, the chase was the part of it that she enjoyed, the thrill of the hunt and, ironically, that’s what Jace did for a living. They met at some biker’s bar in the middle of nowhere, and she ended up being dragged into a world that up until then, she thought was merely fiction and old stories: Jace hunted supernatural creatures and had been there because he’d been chasing a vampire that ended up trying to have Brooke for dinner. He saved her and told her about this entirely new reality. Turns out the idea of ignorance being bliss was not at all true for her, because after a couple of drinks, she ended up telling him about her experience with Olivia and the man was able to identify the girl as a demon.
Learning about the fact that her adoptive sister had been in fact possessed by a demon helped her understand the events of the past years and she decided then that she would learn how to deal with creatures like that, that she’d use her knowledge and training with Martial Arts to become a hunter herself. She had always been a tad reckless after all, so it wasn’t out of character for Brooke to dive into this world without hesitating. In all truth, she didn’t want to hunt for the rest of her life, merely become good enough to go back to London and face this demon, get her revenge.
And years went by, she kept learning from Jace who ended up being her best friend; the relationship between the two had started with plenty of flirting, and Brooke would be lying if she said she didn’t feel attracted to him, but at the same time the man was the only person she trusted, the only one that could and would help her become what she wanted to be in order to achieve her goal, and it was an implicit agreement between the two that they would remain friends, even if they never really talked about it. She also knew that in order to get what she wanted, she would eventually leave the country and go back home, and didn’t plan to come back once she put an end to it all.
But life got harder. Word out there was that hunters were going missing and no one knew what was happening to them; were they dead? Did they just quit and started a new life? All she and Jace knew was that with fewer people fighting the evil out there, it became a lot harder. Between one hunt and the other, her departure from America kept getting postponed, and somehow years had gone by and she was still driving from State to State, killing one creature at a time. And then it happened: 2021, she’d been driving towards Lincoln, Nebraska. Jace had told her to meet there, and so she’d hopped into her black 2019 Lexus ES—courtesy of Andrew’s latest attempt to keep her from causing any trouble across the pond— and she was trying to get to the city before he did just to be the first one finding out about whatever case he’d been after, always the cheeky attitude showing. But life had something else planned for her, and somehow, without her realizing it had happened, she ended up driving somewhere else. Brooke found herself in a town she’d never heard of, an area that was most definitely not Nebraska. Because who the hell names a town “Zeppelin City”?

RP Sample: The night was cold, colder than it should have been in the middle of summer even for New Orleans and its dense fog. It was a thing, the weather acting weird whenever the witches were at it and Thea knew that all too well, remembering how things were back when she was a kid. Back then she didn’t understand it, though, and the fact that her mother had decided not to take part of the coven made her even more of a stranger to the magic within her blood. But now? Now that her childhood was part of her past and after her parents got killed by the witches because of the very same reason that had made her a normal human being, unbeknown of her family’s roots… now she was back to get rid of them all. And it was cold, so cold that the air chilled her bones and made her shake; or maybe the shaking was due to the anticipation and the fear of what the blonde was about to face. She wasn’t an expert after all: only a twenty years old girl with a mission and the will to go through with it: kill the witches, kill them all.
So she walked down the street towards the Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1 where she knew the coven would be, the fog keeping her eyes from what was more than a couple steps ahead and the click-clacking of her boots the only sound as they hit the concrete of the road. No cars, no people, no animals. Black magic has that effect, you know? Keeping everything away when it’s acting and killing anything that tries to stand on its way. But the huntress was prepared. She’d gotten a very old gun, said to be forged in Hell itself and supposedly, it would kill any witch or monster or demon without a chance of them ever coming back. The Godkiller. So while walking, the young woman thought about how she’d gotten where she was: the way her aunt Patrice had tried to convince Allison —Thea’s little sister— to become a dark witch, a part of the New Orleans coven, how it had resulted in both sisters not talking to each other for over a year despite the elder Rogers’ attempts to fix things, to keep her baby sister from turning into such a pitiful, disgusting thing until there was no choice left but to kill every single witch in the coven. Her own family, her blood. But she was a hunter of the supernatural and killing things like the ones she was about to face? It was her duty. If only she’d been doing it for more than a couple months now.
But now she walked, her attempts to keep her mind from veering into memory lane and anxiety from spiking into higher and higher levels failing miserably… it had been too long since the last time she’d been in the city and the huntress never thought she’d come back, even less to kill the witches that she so desperately wanted to ignore and forget. And as her brain wandered and her thoughts became more and more erratic, the white, thick walls of Saint Louis No. 1 became visible little by little, the black gates opened as if inviting her in and the fog coming out of them almost as if it was coming from inside of it. Maybe it was, she was about to find out. Stopping to check the M1911 that was tucked at the small of her back with the bullets created especially to kill witches and then wrapping her hand around the belt that carried the holster that kept the Godkiller safe, Thea’s blue-green eyes finally glanced up to read the plaque with the cemetery’s name on it. Just a moment, one moment to decide whether she could do this or not, whether she could take on a dozen unnaturally powerful witches all by herself only driven by the anger and resentment, the pain they’d caused. Questioning herself, she breathed in deeply, frowned and cleared her throat as if trying to get rid of the feeling of a lump in there and finally, she took a step forward.
