History: Eve was raised in a religious family. Her father was the music and worship leader in their church. She spent a lot of her free time at church and participated in activities such as church lock-ins and field trips, fund raisers, summer camps, etc. Most of her closest friends were friends she made at church, and for a long while she couldn't have been happier.
Then when she was sixteen it came out that her father had been having an affair with a woman from their congregation. A public apology to the church was made by her father, after which he stepped down from his position, but that didn't keep the gossip and rumors from going around, and the shame to bear down heavily on Eve and her family. The weight of it all was unbearable and Eve's faith began to slip. She began to pull away from her family, the church and God. She started attending less and less and got mixed up with the wrong people, eventually leading her to doing some pretty heavy drinking.
It was Tristan, the preacher's son, who eventually helped restore her faith. It was through his compassion and understanding that she was able to come to terms with what had happened and to even help her forgive her father for what he had done, as well as the gossips at church for the things they had said. With his encouragement, she joined AA and got the help she needed to overcome her addiction to alcohol. Though she had known Tristan all her life, it was during this time that their friendship really blossomed and to this day she considers him to be her best friend. She became the bass guitarist for his band Trinity and it was from Tristan that she learned about the supernatural and about hunting.

The motion of Ellen's wave caught the corner of Dean's eye and he made his way over to her, sliding into the booth across from her. A waitress came over and he quickly asked for black coffee and 'what she's having', not really bothering with the menu because he wasn't in the mood to dilly-dally around with breakfast foods when there were more important things on his mind. "Hey Ellen," he said after the petite, middle-aged woman walked away, managing a small half-smile for his old friend that didn't quite reach his weary eyes. "You look good."
Dean cast a glance over his shoulder, reaching into his inner jacket pocket to be sure for the third time that everything he would need was in reach. It was times like this that he wished he had some way of knowing who was a demon and who wasn't short of splashing everyone in the establishment with holy water. That was just something he couldn't do, no matter how much he might want to. These last couple of years had really made him paranoid.
After scanning the room again he finally turned back around to face Ellen, leaning forward a little and keeping his voice low as he grabbed the ketchup bottle and shook it a little, making sure it wasn't empty. "So what's the 411?"
