There are many types of monsters out there, though some are more rare then others, depending on the species. Vampires werewolves, rugarus, they are all real and very dangerous. Most monsters like to hunt and kill people but there are a few exceptions.
- The Commons »
- Telepathy - Sirens can read the minds of their targets, learning what it is that person desires and yearns for in others and then giving that to them through illusion. This includes not just physical characteristics, but also mental ones
- Shapeshifting - Sirens can alter the perceptions into anyone befitting their target, so they can get close to their victims and infect them with their essence. Because a Siren's true visage can be seen in a mirror, it's possible that this is not genuine shape-shifting, but rather just a form of affecting the perceptions of the humans around them.
- Compulsion - Once infected, the target becomes completely and utterly enthralled with the Siren and is willing to do anything to prove their love and devotion. The compulsion is so powerful that they do these things regardless of personal beliefs, desires, morals or of the consequences resulting from said acts.
Skinwalker
Allowed Abilities:
- Shape-shifting - Like Werewolves, Skinwalkers possess the ability to transform into canines. Unlike werewolves, however, skinwalkers transform completely into an animal rather than a hybrid man/wolf creature. Skinwalkers can change from their human to animal forms anytime without a full moon.
- Infectious bite - Like Werewolves, Skinwalkers possess a poisonous bite; if someone is bitten by a Skinwalker, he or she will also become a Skinwalker.
- Enhanced Sense of Smell - They can smell far better than humans, in either form. Using this ability, they can tell if they are being followed or if someone is in the vicinity, within an approximate range of 100 yards or more. They possess this ability even in the human form.
- Super-hearing - A skinwalker's hearing is better then humans, like a dog's.
- Accelerated Healing - They appear to be able to heal themselves much faster than humans.
- Enhanced Strength - Their strength seems to be greater than the average human's, as in its dog form it was able to kill humans. Their strength appears to increase with rank (much like vampires), as the Pack Leader is able to beat lower ranks around with no difficulties. It seems that it's only in their canine form that they possess their strength.
- Super Speed - Skinwalkers, in their animal form, can run and move faster than humans.
- Invulnerability - Like many other shapeshifters, Skinwalkers can only be killed by silver bullets to the heart or head. They can, however, be injured.
Rawhead
Allowed Abilities:
- Super strength - Could throw someone to the ground with one punch.
- Super speed - The Rawheads quickly disappear after their first attack.
- Invulnerability - This type of monster can only be killed by powerful electrocution.
Shapeshifter
Allowed Abilities:
- Shapeshifting - Shapeshifters can take on a living or dead person's physical appearance by shedding their skin. When they change, they literally become the person they're mimicking, gaining everything, including fingerprints and DNA; they can also mimic wounds, even very serious ones. Once a shapeshifter transforms into that person, they can access the thoughts and memories of the person they are mimicking provided that the person is still alive.
- Superhuman strength - Even though they appear human, shapeshifters do possess amazing physical strength. They can easily overpower human beings.
- Superhuman speed - Shapeshifters seem to be able to run faster than humans; on several occasions, shapeshifters have managed to easily escape from pursuers.
- Superhuman agility - They possess quicker reflexes than typical humans. They are able to dodge a bullet, jump out of a house without hurting itself, and even climbing a telephone pole.
- Regeneration - As they can change their form easily, shapeshifters can heal non-fatal wounds, and even replace body parts.
Vetala
Allowed Abilities:
- Fangs - They possess extremely strong, sharp fangs that can rip open a human throat. A Vetala's bite marks on their human victims resemble the marks of a vampire attack.
- Paralyzing Venom - Vetala paralyse their victims with a venomous bite. It knocks the victim out cold, and causes a ringing in the ear along with weakened strength.
- Feeding - Like vampires, they feed on human blood.
- Super strength - Vetala appear to have enhanced strength that allows them to overpower even well built humans.
- Super senses - Vetala appear to possess enhanced hearing.
Ghoul
Allowed Abilities:
- Shapeshifting - Ghouls have the power to transform into any human. This can only be done by eating a living or a corpse of a human being. Like Shapeshifters, Ghouls also obtain the memories of the person they are mimicking.
- Super speed - Ghouls are said to move faster than humans, at least enough to escape unseen after a surprise attack.
- Super strength - Ghouls are stronger than humans. They can overpower a human, but can also be fought off.
- Enhanced durability - Ghouls are more durable than humans, one was able to take a shotgun shot to the torso and was only stunned. However, they are far from invulnerable.
Familiar
Allowed Abilities:
- Shapeshifting - Can take on an animal appearance.
- Telepathy - Can communicate with their masters. But can be blocked if the master chooses to.
Zombie
Allowed Abilities:
- Super strength - Are inhumanly strong, are able to easily overpower humans, despite this they're quite weak in comparison to most monsters
- Super speed - Are awkwardly fast, moving in fast strides.
- Regeneration - While their bodies can receive damage, they can reform from their injuries.
- Invulnerability - Although they can be harmed, they are very difficult to re-kill.
- Death to Vegetation - Due to the unnaturalism of their existence, their presence can cause plants in their presence to wither and die.
Wraith
Allowed Abilities:
- Perception Altering - Like many monsters on the show, Wraiths can appear as humans. Their true form however, can be revealed in a mirror.
- Insanity Inducement - It has been shown that wraiths possess an ability to infect people through physical contact, and make them psychologically unstable. They infect them by elevating a human's dopamine level, they actually do not make them crazy--they just let their inner problems and emotions take over with a little help. The victims slowly become more and more emotionally unstable, and depending on the victim, their inner problems will begin to surface as realistic hallucinations. However, when the wraith is killed, the venom loses its effect.
- Spikes - They have sharp retractable prongs on the back of each wrist. They use these to drain brain fluid, and as a weapon. The spikes are quite brittle, and if broken cause the Wraith great pain.
- Super strength - Wraiths are naturally stronger than humans, able to easily overpower them, however they are not so strong that they cannot be beaten.
- Super agility - Wraiths are incredibly agile.
Changeling
Allowed Abilities:
- Super strength - They have superior strength, but not by much.
- Lamprey-like mouth - They have sharp teeth that allow them to feed on humans, and a lamprey-like mouth.
- Shapeshifting - They can appear human.
- Super Agility - Are able to climb walls to snatch children.
- Invulnerability - Can only be killed by fire, but are not completely invulnerable, and can still be hurt.

- Super stamina - Rugarus never tire and don't give up on their prey, however they do require substance.
- Invulnerability - Can't be killed by normal weapons. Fire is the only weapon that can harm them.
- Super senses - Rugarus have incredible smell and sight.
Shtriga

Allowed Abilities:
- Longevity - By feeding off life force, the Shtriga can live for an extended period of time, the limits of this are unknown.
- Life Force Draining - Shtrigas can remain immortal by sucking the life force out of children, they can drain the life force of humans of any age, but prefer children. The life force that Shtrigas suck out is call "Spiritus Vitae" with is Latin for "Breath of Life." Due to this, their hand prints, cause wood to rot. When they die, the life force they stole will return to all the children still alive./li]
[li]Invulnerability - Shtrigas are very difficult to kill. They can not be killed with normal weapons like standard bullets and knives. - Shapeshifting - By day, a Shtriga can shapeshift into a human, so that hunters won't be able to detect the witch. At night, the Shtriga can transform back to its hag form. They commonly take the form of old women, but this is not a rule.
- Super strength - Shtriga possess this ability, They can easily overpower humans and lift and throw them with great force.
- Super speed - Shtrigas can move faster than humans. They use this ability run from danger or for defense.
Werewolf

- Shapeshifting - Werewolves transform into a wolf-like creature only under a full moon. However, werewolves no longer change under a full moon, but under half moons. Pureblood werewolves can shape shift at will and transform anytime they want however, they somewhat lose control whenever they feed on human hearts.
- Infectious bite - Through a bite, a werewolf can turn another person into a werewolf while in beast form.
- Claws and Fangs - Werewolves have powerful claws and are able to cut solid walls. Their fangs can tear off and eat human flesh and can rip out a human heart right out of their chest cavity.
- Supernatural Strength - A werewolf's strength is much greater than a human's. They can easily overpower humans and can rip flesh and bones with amazing force, their strength is notable even for monsters, able to smash stone with there bare hands. All werewolves seem to have the same or atleast a similar level of strength.
- Enhanced Agility - Their agility is greater than humans, often allowing them to perform incredible jumps and sprints easily.
- Super speed - A werewolf can move very fast; they are able to move from place to place in seconds.
- Super stamina - Werewolves don't tire easily.
- Super Senses - All werewolves are able to see better than humans in darkness, similar to actual wolves, their sense of smell and hearing is equally enhanced.
- Invulnerability - Werewolves can't be killed by conventional means and weapons. Silver however, can kill them.
- Regeneration - Werewolves can regenerate all non-lethal damage, purebloods are even able to completely heal their orginal bites.
Shojo

Allowed Abilities:
- Invisibility - They are unseen to the human eye unless the human is intoxicated. Their presence can however be captured on film, but they still can't be seen, unless the person is intoxicated. Also like many invisible creatures, they can't be heard, unless, following their weakness, the person is drunk.
- Telekinesis - They are able to move objects without touching it.
- Super strength - They are able to lift, throw quite a distance and impale humans with ease.
- Teleportation - Able to move from place to place by thought.
- Claws - Shōjō have razor sharp claws, which they use to kill.
Djinn

Allowed Abilities:
- Hallucinogenic Touch - The Djinns' main ability. By touching someone, they can induce a series of delusions on the mind of their target, typically causing them to enter in a unconscious, dream-like state. Inside it, a person can re-live their deepest dreams and desires, over and over again, akin to a endless loop. These delusions can also be induced in a more mild fashion, leaving the person awake, but at the risk of having them break on a mental level due to the mix of reality and illusion. There is also an off-shot race of Djinns, who when inducing the delusions, trap people in a dream world of their greatest fears, and feed off it. When touching their targets, they usually leave a blue mark in the shape of a hand print on the victim.
- Super Strength - Djinns are notably stronger than humans, able to easily over power them. Even a teenage Djinn is able to overpower a grown man.
- Super Speed - Djinns can move incredibly fast, able to suddenly appear and ambush others.
- Super Senses - A particular type of Djinn that feeds on fear instead of human blood, can smell human fear and can track their prey by following their scent.
- Shapeshifting - Djinns can change their form to pass as humans.
- Immortality - Djinns possess a longer life span than humans and can potentially live forever.
- Telepathy - They can read people's minds and learn their greatest desires or fears.
- Super Agility - Djinns are more agile than humans.
Wendigo

Allowed Abilities:
- Perfect Hunters - Wendigos are excellent hunters, either during the day or at night. There are few possibilities to defeat a wendigo during the day, but it is almost impossible to defeat them at night, since it is their favorite period to hunt. Also despite being animal like, Wendigos are intelligent, as intelligent as humans, thus making them even more dangerous.
- Voice Mimicry - Wendigos can imitate the voices of humans to lure unsuspecting victims.
- Voice Mimicry - Wendigos can imitate the voices of humans to lure unsuspecting victims.
- Immortality - Wendigos can live forever.
- Super speed - Wendigos possess inhuman speed, enough to move from one place to another in under three seconds.
- Superhuman Strength - Wendigos are incredibly strong, even by monster terms, they can tear humans limb from limb, snap necks and carry two people at once and even drag them up a tree with ease.
- Superhuman Agility - Wendigos can jump from tree to tree without being deterred by the foliage.
- LInvulnerability - Wendigos are invulnerable to (albeit irritated by) normal knives and guns.
- Claws - Wendigo have giant claws, which they use to hunt or to attack.
- Super Senses - Wendigos possess enhanced senses, making them perfect hunters, they can see perfectly in darkness, and have similarly enhanced hearing.
Crocotta

- Soul Devouring - Crocottas can drain the soul of any human they kill, or make another kill.
- Voice Mimicry - They can imitate the voice of any person, but they have to have heard their voice first. Crocottas are incredibly skilled at this, able to pick up a person's mannerisms to the extent that even people very close to the person they're imitating will not be able to distinguish the Crocotta from the actual person.
- Shapeshifting - Like many supernatural creatures, Crocottas can take human form.
- Super strength - They have superior strength to humans, but not by much.
- Super speed - They have superior speed to humans, able to suddenly appear out of nowhere.
- Extended Lifespan - They have a longer life span than humans, able to live for centuries.
- Electrokinesis - Crocottas can manipulate technology, such as computers and phones. They can make phone calls, hack into them, manipulate computer screens, and can even make toy phones receive calls. To do this they seem to require to touch a connection to what they are manipulating.
Rakshasas

- Super strength - A Golem has enough strength to easily overpower and snap a human's neck, or rip it from the body. It can throw a full-grown man a few feet into the air, and can easily smash through walls.
- Invulnerability - A Golem is not affected by conventional human weapons such as guns or knives. It is also unaffected by magically imbued poisonous darts.
- Immortality - Not being an actual being, it doesn't age or die by conventional methods.
- Superhuman Stamina - Golems don't tire or stop unless commanded so by their rabbi.
Amazon

Allowed Abilities:
- Super strength - All vampires possess great strength, but it is known to increase with age. All vampires are capable of lifting heavy objects and overpowering humans. Older vampires, however, can overpower their own makers and other creatures.
- Fangs - Vampires possess a set of retractable fangs. Their teeth are super-humanly strong and can rip open a human's neck and leave huge bite marks on the corpse of the victim it has fed on.
- Super Speed - Vampires speed is greater than humans. It is possible that a vampire's speed, like their strength, increase with age.
- Super agility - Vampires possess amazing agility. They can climb up walls and jump off buildings without hurting themselves. Vampires also have greater reflexes than humans.
- Superhuman Senses - Vampires have extremely keen senses that are superior to those of humans. They can see in the dark, hear a human's heart beat, and possess enhanced sense of smell. A vampire can track a human's blood over long distances.
- Immortality - Vampires can potentially live forever. They can't grow old and don't acquire conventional diseases that affect humans.
- Invulnerability - Vampires can not be killed by conventional methods, such as stab wounds or gunshots. Vampires have an extreme durability to pain.
- Regeneration - As long as they have enough human blood, vampires can quickly heal any wound that does not include amputation.
- Super Stamina - Despite their hunger, vampires don't tire easily.
Dragon

Allowed Abilities:
- Supernatural strength - They possess incredible physical strength. Dragons can easily overpower humans through sheer physical force. They are amongst the strongest of monsters, able to casually break bones, toss a grown man like a doll, and easily lift and carry a grown man, for over seven miles.
- Shapeshifting - They can take a complete human form by shapeshifting, although when using their powers, part of their true forms become visible, specifically their snake like eyes.
- Thermokinesis (named "Dragon Claw") - They can also generate intense heat from their hands. These temperatures are hot enough to melt metals like iron, or even incinerate humans with their touch. This ability is called the "Dragon Claw".
- Flight - Dragons have bat-like wings which they use to fly and capture prey. They are incredibly capable flyers, able to move with great speed and maneuverability, and still demonstrate great stealth despite their enormous size.
- Invulnerability - Dragons are near completely invulnerable; the only known way to harm or kill one is with a sword forged in Dragons blood. Significant other forces, such as repeatedly being hit with a iron crowbar, can daze them, but causes no permanent damage.
- Super speed - Dragons can move with incredible speed, able to suddenly appear, almost like teleporting, especially when flying.
- Super Stamina - Dragons don't tire easily, they can fly miles at incredible speeds, and go through severe trauma without fatigue.
- Super Senses - Able to tell if a person is a virgin or not simply by getting close.
Kitsune

Allowed Abilities:
- Super strength - Kitsunes appear to be stronger than humans. They can knock down and overpower humans with little difficulty.
- Super speed - Kitsunes possess supernatural speed that is described as fox-like. Along with their speed, they use their strength to catch their prey or enemies off guard and kill them expediently.
- Claws - All Kitsunes have long talon-like claws that they use to tear at their victims.
- Invulnerability - The can only die if they're stabbed in the heart, or starvation.
Fairy

Allowed Abilities:
- Magic - They're magical, in nature, in how their teleport and use their powers, overall. Apparently being "all about energy".
- Spell casting - Much like Crossroads demons, some fairies can cast spells to fit deals, notably Leprechauns
- Shapeshifting - Fairies can appear as humans. Their true form, however, can only be seen by those that have been in the Fairy world, and their true form has been described as little beings covered in bright light that is painful for humans to look at.
- Invisibility - All Fairies can make themselves unseen to humans. They can only be seen, if they want to be, or by people who have traveled to their realm and returned. This ability continues to work, even after the fairy in question's death, meaning humans who haven't been to the fairy realm can't see their remains.
- Telekinesis - Some fairies can move objects with their minds, notably Leprechauns.
- Teleportation - Like Ghosts, Angels, and Demons, all fairies can appear and disappear at will, Good fairies can also take others with them.
- Apporting - Good fairies possess this power, Gilda was able to send Gerry to Avalon.
- Soul Reading - Being based around energy, Fairies can tell if a person has a soul or not, just by looking at them. Notably Leprachauns.
- Immortality - Fairies are immortal beings.
- Super Strength - Many types of fairy possess superhuman strength, notably Leprauchans, Tinks and Red Caps.
- Flight - Tinks can fly.
- Reality Warping - Powerful fairies, such as Good Fairies and Leprachauns can manipulate reality, doing things such as manipulating space to imprison a person, or making a person mimic deaths, with no actual stimulus (much like hex bags)
Phoenix

Allowed Abilities:
- Incineration by touch - A Phoenix can incinerate anyone/anything with a single touch, their ability is so strong, they can reduce a whole man to ashes in seconds.
- Immortality - A Phoenix is immortal, meaning that it does not age at all. A Phoenix is immune to death by natural causes and aging. Before the Colt, there was no known way to kill a Phoenix, although the fact it was known that they combust upon death, implies there are other ways to kill them.
- Invulnerability - Phoenixes are nearly completely invulnerable, they can take repeated shots in the chest and not even react. Although significant force, such as being hanged can knock them out for a while./li]
[li]Superhuman Strength - Phoenixes are incredibly strong. One Phoenix was strong enough to break out of its coffin, after it had been nailed down and buried. - Regeneration - Phoenixes can heal/regenerate from any and all non fatal injuries.
- Shapeshifting - The Phoenix can take human form to conceal its true form, which is bird-like.
Okami

- Superhuman strength - Able to overpower an average man casually.
- Superhuman Agility - Extremely agile and fast.
- Superhuman Durability - Able to survive a shotgun blast, but are not invulnerable.
- Fangs - Ōkami have razor sharp fangs, which they use to devour their prey.
Arachne

Allowed Abilities:
- Super strength - Arachne have incredible physical strength, they are able to throw a fully grown man across a room with no difficulty.
- Enhanced agility- Able to move with incredible flexibility.
- Superhuman Speed - Able to move faster than any human.
- Webbing creation - Like real spiders, they can spin strong webbing in which they imprison their victims.
- Invulnerability - Arachne are invulnerable to bullets or fire, meaning they can't be killed by either of those weapons.
- Venom - Arachne venom is lethal, like spiders they pass it through bites, but it can also be used to change humans of the opposite sex to the Arachne in question, into an arachne.

- The Alphas »
- Telepathic Link - they possess a telepathic link to their children, allowing them to track or communicate with them over great distance, they can also learn knowledge their children possesses.
- Enhanced Immunity - Alphas are more resistant to certain weapons that harm lesser members of their races.
- Link to Eve - Although all monsters possess a link to Eve, the Alphas possess a stronger link.
