Abilities
Ink Manipulation - Chase can create, shape, and manipulate ink, including moving ink, change the color, consistency/viscosity between solid and liquid, etc., even if the ink is printed/written/tattooed. He can write/scribe/tattoo without tools by manipulating ink.
Much like his mother Chase can bring things to life, however instead of drawing it on paper he has to have the said thing tattooed on his body first. He is able to create anything by tattooing it on his body, as long as it is small enough to cover his skin. Once he brings the object to life he is able to manipulate it. Unlike his mothers ability the being will be only made of ink, without any white from the paper unless Chase uses white ink.
On angel blood Chase will be able to literally make things tattooed on him come to life, without being made of ink. Example being that if he had a tattoo of flames then he could create actual flames, or a snake, anything. However because he only manipulates ink these things could hurt him, like getting burnt by the fire or bit by the snake.
Liquid Mimicry - Chase can transform his body completely into a liquid substance. Chase transforms into a homogenous matter, without any part of his form being more important than the other. This means that he cannot be harmed physically by being stabbed or anything, he could also turn into liquid when actually being injured to avoid being hurt.
On angel blood Chase is able to turn into anything that has a liquid form suchs as water, lava, or mercury, etc. He is also able to turn non living things into liquids.

Personality: Chase is the sort of guy who likes to seize the day, live by the moment, that sort of thing. He does his best to take advantage of even the smallest opportunity that comes his way because he doesn't want to regret not taking a chance. It's something that his mother really dedicated her time and effort to... encouraging Chase to always keep his eyes and his mind open because if he didn't he could miss out on something amazing. This was her personal experience, as she had spent years pining over Chase's uncle Ethan only to finally realize that it was Jake who was her true love... and he was right under her nose all along. Chase doesn't want to make the same mistake. If the right person is out there for him, he wants every moment with him that he can get.
He doesn't spend a lot of time worrying about what people think of him anymore. He's confident with who he is and he's pretty much of the mindset that if you don't accept him for who he is, then it's your loss. And while he doesn't always set out to break the rules, he doesn't always follow them either. He won't purposefully do something that would cause someone harm or injury, but some rules were made to be bent or broken. Carpe diem and all that.

History:
Chase first realized he was gay as a young teenager... around 14 or 15 years old when other boys his age were clearly into girls. He couldn't even be bothered honestly. He actually found himself wanting to spend more time with a couple of his male friends and started looking at them differently, finding them more appealing than those of the opposite gender. Although he never made any sort of advances on them, there were subtle signs that other students picked up on and the rumors about him being gay spread before he was even ready to admit it to himself. It didn't help that Chase had dyslexia, so any time he was instructed to read something in front of his classmates only led to more ridicule. Feeling ashamed and alone, Chase started hiding away in his room, until one day his father came to him and invited him to spend time together in the lab.
Not only did this turn of events help to bond father and son, it turned out that Chase had a natural talent with chemistry. When Chase met an old vampire named Anton, who expressed a desire to live civilly among the humans, Chase presented the dilemma to his father. Together, the two of them, along with Anton, spent the next few years dedicated to the creation of a blood substitute that would keep vampires nourished and allow them to live comfortably without feeding from humans or animals. When the final product was finished, samples were passed out to Anton and a few others to test it for side effects. It was only a few months later when the temporal time rip occurred and Chase was one of the IHA members sent back in time to help repair it. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to stick around for the results of their experiment.

RP Sample: The motion of Ellen's wave caught the corner of Dean's eye and he made his way over to her, sliding into the booth across from her. A waitress came over and he quickly asked for black coffee and 'what she's having', not really bothering with the menu because he wasn't in the mood to dilly-dally around with breakfast foods when there were more important things on his mind. "Hey Ellen," he said after the petite, middle-aged woman walked away, managing a small half-smile for his old friend that didn't quite reach his weary eyes. "You look good."
Dean cast a glance over his shoulder, reaching into his inner jacket pocket to be sure for the third time that everything he would need was in reach. It was times like this that he wished he had some way of knowing who was a demon and who wasn't short of splashing everyone in the establishment with holy water. That was just something he couldn't do, no matter how much he might want to. These last couple of years had really made him paranoid.
After scanning the room again he finally turned back around to face Ellen, leaning forward a little and keeping his voice low as he grabbed the ketchup bottle and shook it a little, making sure it wasn't empty. "So what's the 411?"
