Full Name: Sky Sunchild Meadows Nickname/Alias: Sky/Sunny Age/Date Of Birth: 21 (Sept. 4, 1992) Race: Human Occupation: Hunter/Psychic Medium/Street Performer Species Group: Hunter/2nd Generation Deva Play-By: AJ Michalka
Sky has the ability to control the minerals of earth. This includes but is not limited to breaking up and shifting the height/levels of the ground, causing tremors, projecting sand and stones, etc. Any natural mineral is putty in her hands.
Sky is psychically sensitive and has the ability to see and communicate with spirits. She is also able to project thoughts to her sister, Aspen, telepathically due to the strength of their bond as sisters.
Likes (At Least 3): ❤ Being on solid ground ❤ Wildflowers ❤ Writing ❤ Neatness and organization ❤ Being in control of herself and what happens to her
Dislikes (At Least 3): ✗Flying or being in a large body of water... it makes her feel out of control ✗Violence ✗Chaos or mess
Fears (At Least 2): ☬ Snakes ☬ Losing her sister
Goals (At Least 1): ★ To publish a best-seller.
Personality: Sky tends to be somewhat of a quiet mouse in the corner when it comes to social situations. She is uncomfortable in large groups and doesn't really speak up unless she is addressed specifically. She tends to hover close to her sister and often will even let Aspen speak for her. However, if she feels strongly enough about something, she will speak up.
A bit of a perfectionist, she likes everything around her to be neat and organized. Sky feels insecure when she isn't in control of a situation. She isn't particularly bossy to other people but she wants to be the one to decide what happens to her. She is uncomfortable with chance and if something is out of place or not 'right' in her opinion, Sky will try to fix it or will inform whoever is in charge.
Sky trusts and relies on her big sister quite heavily. Aspen is almost like a security blanket to her. She isn't so insecure that she can't stand on her own two feet, but she definitely prefers having her close.
Positives (At Least 3): ✧ Organized ✧ Imaginative ✧ Responsible
Negatives (At Least 3): ✦ Dependent on her sister ✦ Critical ✦ Anxious
Parents: Willow Meadows (Mother, Deceased), Billy Faye (Father) Siblings: Aspen Moonchild Meadows Other Family: N/A Important Others: N/A History:
Sky doesn't have the violent memories of her father that Aspen does. Having been taken from him from a very young age, she only knows what her mother and sister have told her... that he was abusive and had abandoned Aspen and Sky in the middle of a Colorado forest when they were very young, leaving them for dead.
It was during this time that the sisters' strange abilities first began to manifest, likely due to the extreme emotional strain of the situation. Sky was only three years old at the time and only vaguely recalls being huddled up in that hole with her big sister, feeling confused and finding Aspen to be the only warmth and comfort she could find. When she was bitten by a poisonous snake and Aspen somehow managed to draw out the poison and take away her pain, this only served to strengthen the bond Sky felt with her. It was from that moment that she really began to depend and rely heavily on her sister.
The girls' mother was able to find them eventually with great help from Sky. The creepy nighttime sounds of the forest not only caused her to tremble with fear, it began the manifestation of her power over the earth. The ground around them actually tremored as though it were connected to her emotionally. It wasn't huge or damaging but it was enough to lead Willow to her daughters.
It was then that Willow decided it was the final straw and she packed up with the girls and set out for a life without their father, taking off with the van and continuing to live on the road, avoiding him at every turn, staying on the move. Aspen grew up content and secure with her family, but when Willow fell ill and died a few years ago, she started to feel the absence of a parental figure in her life, and started asking questions and expressing an interest in finding her father... convinced he couldn't be as bad as they made him seem...
Alias: Cherry Pie How did you find us?: From the old board Experience: over ten years Other Characters: Bethany Clark RP Sample:
Beth glanced over at the passenger seat as she pulled into the gas station. They had been driving for nearly six hours and Dean had been asleep for about two of them. It had been two days since she first met him back in Michigan and honestly, she was amazed that he had stuck around. Grateful... but amazed. Dean had so far proven to be quite interesting company... not to mention eye candy for the road that didn't give her a stomach ache or cavities.
The gas station was so empty that Beth almost wasn't sure if the pumps even worked anymore. There was a lone dusty green pickup truck parked in the very back corner of the gravel parking lot that ran alongside the small convenience store. The filling area looked to be the only section that was paved, and it was old, cracked pavement at that. She considered waking Dean in case he needed to use the restroom but she decided against it. Even if he did need to make a pit stop, she doubted he'd want to do it in a smelly, cockroach-infested gas station bathroom.
Beth pulled up to the pump and shut off the engine, looking over at him once more. Two nights ago she had kissed him and run out before giving him a chance to reject her. They hadn't talked about the kiss since then and he hadn't given any sign of clue that it even phased him. If Dean was at all intrigued or repulsed by that one little display of affection, he was very good at not letting it show.
She got out of her car and closed the car door, walking around to look at the pump and frowning when she realized there was no credit card reader. With a sigh she hoisted her bag onto her shoulder and went inside to prepay. There was a fairly young guy slouching at the counter and looking far too tired or too stoned to work there... it was hard to tell which. Beth decided to wander around the store to gather up a few snacks for the road. She needed to stretch her legs anyway.
