Abilities
Advanced Mind
Austin's ability lies within the mind. His mind is way more advanced than normal people. Because of this Austin can tell when someone is trying to read his mind and potentially block it if it is another human, his memories can not be erased and he cannot be brainwashed/mind controlled.
Austin's primary ability however is reading minds. Without physical contact Austin can only read surface thoughts however when he touches someone he can dig deep into their memories and thoughts, even subconscious ones. When touching the person's head Austin can even erase memories which comes in handy with he and his father's work. Austin is also able to link his mind to other's however he can only link to one at a time, which Scott is usually the one he is linked to. When linked to someone's mind he is able to tell when they are in danger, speak telepathically, and find their location.
Austin's mind is so advanced he is able to perform any action that the he has seen. This ability cannot be used to replicate the powers of other beings, only to reproduce the reflexive muscle movements made by experienced perpetrators of the actions. It does not seem to endow Austin with the knowledge behind the actions, either. Austin is also able to remember everything. Everything he witnesses is stored away in his head and he never forgets it, this includes what he reads, watches, experiences, etc.
When on angel blood Austin is able to manipulate what others perceive, such as making them see things that aren't actually present, or not see things that are. He is also able to read all memories/thoughts without touch.
Telekinesis
Austin's newest ability is being able to move things with his mind. This is considered his second ability because it actually uses his mind to move physical objects. However this ability is not controlled and because of this it can go out of whack.
When in a fit of emotions, like anger or sorrow; Austin causes strange things to happen. When in a huge anger spurge Austin uses his telekinesis to hurt others, not able to control himself. When in a very sad/sorrow state, things around Austin can move, tables levitate, pictures shake, glasses spin, etc. He calls these polter-storms, but when he is depressed things stop, almost as if time stops as his telekinesis holds it in place, but if startled in this state everything goes back to working accordingly. He does not actually stop time, he just slows things to a stop and causes them to stop functioning in the world, like water dripping, a clock ticking, or a fan rotating.
NOTE - Keep in mind that he must be in an extreme mode of the state. So he must be very angry, depressed, etc.

Personality:
Austin is a very loyal and obedient son. Following Scott's orders comes very easy to him, no matter how hard they are he will do his best to follow them through. He has much respect for his father and mother and anyone else that is his elder within his family. He expects other's to be the same, however that is never the case.
One of Austin's hobbies is buying or finding old junk cars and fixing them up to make them amazing and reliable before selling them. He has grown to love long rides with the windows down, music playing or even just the dead silence while behind the wheel. He is very skilled with vehicles and is able to easily build any part you can think of.
Being a kind and patient man it takes a lot to push his buttons. A few easy ways you can do this is hurting someone he cares about or just hurting someone period. Messing up one of his rides because he adores them and spends a lot of time and effort on working on them. Betraying Austin can hurt him deeply, it may anger him but more than anything he will be in pain. Last but not least if you say the right things and bad mouth enough it might drive him over the edge.
However, no matter what he has a lot of love for people... And honestly even other creatures. He feels that no one asked for the life they have and if they are trying their hardest to be a good person, that's what counts. One thing Austin doesn't realize is that he is way too trusting. Because he believes using his ability to read everyone's mind is rude without their permission and without being on a job; he doesn't do it. Without reading minds he doesn't know who to trust and who not to and well, he just trusts everyone easily.
Austin can be a complete deadly man when on the job but he is actually a gentle soul. Killing people or creatures is always a last resort for him which results in Scott making most of the kills on jobs.
The twenty six year old is not a drinker at all and is very much a lightweight. After two beers Austin is drunk and this is why he never drinks... At least why he avoids it.
Austin is also a very spiritual man, having a relationship with God. He prays often and attends church every Sunday, or at least tries. No matter where he is he will look for a church. He doesn't push his beliefs hard on other's but is a definite christian man.

History:
After Austin was born he was given up for adoption because his biological mother didn't want him. The woman and her parents wanted her to have a good life and become a lawyer so they gave the baby up, without the father ever knowing. Austin was given adopted by a cute married couple who could not have children. Their names were Linda and Richard Barnette and they gave the baby the name of Austin Barnette.
Austin was a very smart child and was able to pass through school with flying colors and even graduate high school at the age of sixteen. At that age the boy already knew what he wanted to be and went right off to college for four years. Passing those classes too with ease the man went off to medical school at the age of twenty and graduated it at twenty four.
He was truly happy, except a piece of him was missing. That is when the man started to dig into who his parents were and why he was given up... It was a bad mistake. Upon going through the adoption agency he finally managed to get his biological mother's name; Sarah. Right after getting her name Austin looked her up and found where she lived in Florida, driving there and knocking on her door. She was married now, with two children and she was a successful lawyer. To say Austin was hurt would be an understatement but he buried it deep down.
It wasn't easy as his mother was a bitch but he got his father's name from her, as long as he promised never to contact her again. Austin began searching for his true father, knowing that he never knew about him. He found out he was married and that he had went to war but soon after he fell off the grid. Austin couldn't help but wonder if maybe he was special like his father, that his father had an ability like his.
The digging ended badly as demons found out who Austin was... They attacked him at the hospital while he was working. Luckily he got away but at the price of his adopted parent's life. Austin was depressed and now that his life had been ruined both with having a family and with his job he left, left it all behind and began his hunt for the man known as Scott Jacobs.
It was hard but Austin learned to use his abilities to track the man down and eventually talk him into letting him stay with him and help him. Austin told him that he would follow him every time he ran away and he did, with ease so eventually his father gave in. It has been two years now that two father-son duo have been together, and they are a good ass team.

He was out.... He couldn't believe it. The battle to not be ripped to shreds was an ongoing one for a very, very long time. Once he got out of Purgatory there was one thing, and one thing only he wanted to do. Find Sammy. He split from the vampire who got him out and went on his own. He ended up in Flint Michigan of all places. Didn't take Dean long to get a hold of some fake credit cards, and next he would look for Sam.
Once he got out so many things sounded good, a shower for one, but his love for pie and a good cold beer sounded like Heaven. Dean got himself a motel room outside of Flint, Burton he believed they called it. Either way it was time to go out for a bit, get some drinks in him, maybe find a nice girl and... He let his mind go wildly after being in Purgatory for too long. The thirty three year old smirked to himself, it was truly good to be back.
He grabbed some clothes and personal products from a local store and went back to his motel room. The place really didn't have much things of his taste, but it would have to do. Dean sat at a small table that was positioned in front of the room's window. He took some rags soaking them in water and soap. Watching out the window, he scrubbed his jacket. It took about an hour before it was finally clean and he hung it up to let the water dry. Glancing over to the bed his eye twinkled. Oh god, how he forgot what it was like to sleep in a bed. He threw himself into the bed and let out a relaxing groan before glancing over and... there was a small box which asked for a quarter. Dean's face filled with a huge smirk. He was defiantly glad to be back. Putting his hand down his pocket he remembered some change he had found in the room when he got there. Luckily enough there was a quarter. The man rushed to put the coin down the machine and as he did the bed began to vibrate.
"Ooooh, yes!" Dean said as he laid on his back and closed his eyes.
Dean fell asleep for a few hours and when he awoke he saw it was already night time. "Damn" he thought, he must of fallen asleep during the massage the bed gave him. Jumping up, Dean went to the small bathroom. Fixing his hair a bit and putting on some deodorant, he stopped and stared at himself in the mirror. He had made it out of Purgatory, he should be happy, but there was something still bugging him. Castiel. He left the angel there, he knew he and Gabriel were still in Purgatory with Gabriel trying to talk Cas into going back to earth with him. Wait, what was he worrying for? Castiel left Dean in Purgatory, there was no reason to feel bad for escaping himself.
After getting all freshened up Dean grabbed his now dry jacket and rushed out the door. He stopped once he left the room. Oh yeah, he didn't have a ride. Sighing, Dean walked to a small bar down the street. He wasn't going to get his pie right now, but he damn sure was going to get his beer. He walked up to the place seeing the flashy sign with what looked like some legs tripping over each other. "Stumblin' Inn".... Really? What a weird name for a bar. Den chuckled as he looked up at the sign and walked in. The place wasn't packed, that was for sure. He walked over to the bar and ordered himself a beer, turning to some older man who was sitting there also. The two talked a bit and then went their separate ways, Dean back to the motel, and the man to... well wherever he was going.
The next day Dean went out and got himself a pie, eating the whole thing quickly he decided he was bored. Before ditching town Dean thought he should pay the bar another visit before leaving. It was only the afternoon, sure, but Dean felt like he needed another drink.
He walked to the bar and sat exactly where he was the night before. Glancing around Dean noticed there were only three people in there besides himself. He smiled as the cute little red headed bartender walked over to him.
"Hey sugar, can I get you something." Her voice sounded very erotic. She wasn't the same bartender from the night before.
"Uh, just a beer, thanks." Dean shot her a quick wink as she smiled and grabbed him a beer, popping the cap for him.
Ah, it was nice. Just sitting here, having a beer... But Dean felt lonely, he hadn't seen a familiar face yet, and the only one he could think of was Sammy, his baby brother. In all reality Dean knew Sam had probably moved on, just like he did when Sammy was in Lucifer's cage. He was the one to always want to get away from the job anyways. Maybe he shouldn't look for him, but Dean knew he would. He had to see his brother again.
