Full Name: Elijah Dean Anderson
Nickname/Alias: Zero (He doesn't know his actual name, so this is what he goes by.) | Dimensional Hopper | René Roosevelt | Devil of Louisiana | Joseph Barnett | Dr. Williamson | Mixcoatl | Henry Every
Age/Date Of Birth: One Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Four Years Old | 01 - 17 - 2022
Race: Creature
Occupation: Wanderer | Can Do Multiple Things
Species Group: Phoenix/4th Generation Deva/Witch
Play-By: Jamie Dornan
Abilities
Phoenix Abilities
Incineration By Touch - A Phoenix can incinerate anyone/anything with a single touch, their ability is so strong, they can reduce a whole man to ashes in seconds. Zero can sometimes lose control over this ability, but he's learned how to relax himself and cause it to stop with meditation.
Immortality - A Phoenix is immortal, meaning that it does not age at all. A Phoenix is immune to death by natural causes and aging. Based on Elias's comments, it seems before the Colt, there was no known way to kill a Phoenix, although the fact it was known that they combust upon death, implies there are other ways to kill them.
Invulnerability - Phoenixes are nearly completely invulnerable, they can take repeated shots in the chest and not even react. Although significant force, such as being hanged can knock them out for a while.
Superhuman Strength - Phoenixes are incredibly strong. One Phoenix was strong enough to break out of its coffin, after it had been nailed down and buried.
Regeneration - Phoenixes can heal/regenerate from any and all non fatal injuries.
Shapeshifting - The Phoenix can take human form to conceal its true form, which is bird-like.
Deva Abilities
Teleportation - Zero can teleport, or transfer matter (beings/objects, including himself) or energy from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them. This is achieved by Zero warping the space around him and teleporting where he wishes to go. Zero is capable of teleporting beyond his own dimension, making him a Dimension Hopper. Because he can't control it, he randomly teleport himself throughout time. He's capable of teleporting to Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, etc. though he doesn't know this and doesn't have control over his ability enough to do so yet.
While teleportation may seem like it is simply for travel, it can be a valuable ability as it can be used offensively (and quite powerful, as a spatial attack) while offering superiority regarding movement speed and distance coverage. A skilled strategist/tactician can use it for many innovative manners.
Omnicombustion - Zero can virtually set anything ablaze, even if it is non-flammable, and incorporeal matter, such as the air itself. He is able to combust even conceptual entities, such as setting a timeline on fire to destroy certain historical pieces. Of course he has not done the latter, because he doesn't know the limits to this ability.
Witchcraft
Over the hundreds of years he has lived, Zero has picked up on a lot to do with witchcraft.
Celestial Magic - This sorcery calls upon the power of celestial events. Drawing power from a full moon, lunar eclipse, solar eclipse, when planets are aligned, comets passing by, etc. The power that these celestial events hold is immense. However, with great power there is also weaknesses to it. These spells usually have some kind of specific way to break a spell tied with one of these events, like if the spell is cast when the moon is full it's possible it will only last until the next full moon.
Energy Drawing Magic - Calling power from energy is the easiest way for Zero to gain power. By drawing energy from nature, or a flame, he's able to gain enough power to accomplish small feats.
Spirit Magic - A very powerful form of sorcery that draws its energy from the Spirits who reside on the Other Side. Unlike other forms of magic, spirit magic can only be used how the Spirits see fit. If a witch abuses the power that is bestowed upon them, the Spirits may break their connection to the witch, preventing them from further harnessing their power.
Connective Magic - This magic is a form of sorcery that allows a witch to create a semi-permanent bond that draws strength from other supernatural beings such as another witch while augmenting said witch's power. It can also be used to draw on the strength of an immortal to achieve true immortality. However, neutralizing or killing said immortal being would similarly affect the witch. Unlike sacrificial magic, the target which energy is drawn from is not hurt.
Ancestral Magic - This is an extremely powerful form of witchcraft. Similar to spirit magic, this form of sorcery draws its energy from the power of a witch where their remains are buried or kept. However, the witch is also able to draw upon power from places where great power has been such as where powerful spells have taken place, or great tragic events such as a massacre or war, or anything else holding a lot of energy due to events that happened on that soil.

Likes (At Least 3):
❤ Nature/Outdoors - Zero has a natural affinity with nature and animals. He feels the most comfortable being outdoors... He relates with animals more than anything else.
❤ Being Alone - Zero likes to spend time alone; to find his zen.
❤ Sailing - Zero loves the open sea, or even just being out on a lake. He finds it incredibly peaceful and he always feels the farthest from people when he's out in the water... And sometimes it's what he needs.
❤ Helping People - Though he doesn't really express himself and show it, Zero cares about helping people. He likes the feeling he gets when doing so, even after all these years. He's willing to lend a helping hand.
❤ The Sky - A broad term to group together stars, clouds, sunsets and sunrises. When he needs a moment of peace, or when he lets his thoughts pull him away from the world around him, he'll often zone out to the sky above; looking for solace in it.
Dislikes (At Least 3):
✗ People - Okay, not exactly. He likes people, but he doesn't like some of the things people do, or say. He's had enough of stupidity throughout his lifetime and he has no patience for people who make stupid choices or are just rude/disrespectful.
✗ Immortality - When you live forever, and can't die... It sucks, that's a given. You watch all your loved ones die and wither away... Well, that's what you usually do. Zero isn't only immortal but he randomly teleports throughout time and is ripped from any lives he has created. It hurts, he hates it. This has changed him so much over the years.
✗ Racists/Homohobics/Sexists/Bigots - Over all, just douchey people. He's not about that life.
Fears (At Least 2):
☬ Death - You'd think for someone who has lived for so long, he wouldn't be afraid of dying. You'd be wrong. He's honestly terrified of dying, he's heard of Purgatory and he knows it is where he'll end up. It just seems like another time consuming prison where he will be cursed to go on forever.
☬ Claustrophobic - You'd think being an all powerful phoenix with super powers would eliminate having normal fears, but it doesn't. Zero doesn't do well in tight spaces, and one of his biggest fears would be him getting buried alive. Especially since he can't just die.
☬ Emotional Intimacy - Not just in the sense of a love life, any sort of intimacy between himself and another being. He's afraid to let anyone in, to get attached and to care, because he knows eventually he'll be ripped from his life.
Goals (At Least 1):
★ To Control His Time Traveling (Though he's given up on this and doesn't see it ever happening.)
Personality: Zero has changed over the years, morphed into a completely new person. He was once a very sweet man, caring and somewhat shy. Over time he has gotten more gruff and distant, keeping to himself and not letting others in. He lost his filter, saying whatever he truly feels because he doesn't see any point in lying or trying to edit what he says. Zero has become pretty grumpy as well, hiding his true self way deep in a thick shell of grumpiness, bluntness, and reservedness.
Zero does have a bit of a temper, and if set off it isn't pretty. Though he does try to keep himself calm and relaxed, using mediation to do so. It helps him stay in control of himself. He's also incredibly stubborn, once he's made his mind up that's it. It's kind of hard to stop him doing something once he's put his mind to it. He's not scared of much, like at all. You're not going to intimidate him, it's not a thing that will just happen.
Over time, with all the life events he has lived through Zero's mind eventually just began to weaken. Now he's haunted with visions of the past while awake and asleep. He has awful nightmares during the night, sometimes thrashing about and screaming. While awake he momentarily sees someone of his past, someone in the distance, behind something, in a crowd. His mind tricks him, and now that he knows that he is just seeing things it doesn't make it any easier. It easily brings up old feelings, which forces him to re-feel things.

History:
Zero was the first of three triplets to be born to Chris and Holly Anderson. However, due to the angel blood within the baby, Zero randomly transported himself to another time; as a new born baby. His parents were distraught, but they decided that they wouldn't tell their two children of the baby who... vanished. So Zero's siblings Hope and Izzy, never knew they had a triplet and were not just twins. Zero appeared in Columbus Ohio, in 1971. It was raining, and the baby was in an alley behind a tailor building. The tailor; Jerold Roosevelt found the baby as he was leaving to go home. It wasn't unheard of; people leaving their babies in dumpsters or alleys when they didn't want them and that's what the man thought this was. Instead of calling the authorities or taking the baby to a hospital, he brought the baby home to his wife. They had been trying so hard to have a baby, but it just wasn't happening. The couple fought, not sure this was something they could get away with but ultimately Stephanie couldn't resist the baby's cute face or her want for a baby. They named him René and decided to raise him as their own.
It wasn't until Zero was 16 that his parents decided to tell him that he was adopted, as they found out Jerald had cancer and Zero was afraid that he could get it too... That he could inherit it, however it turned out that he wasn't even their child. Zero felt betrayed at first, but ultimately forgave them. They were his parents and he loved them. It was only for another year that Zero would live his life in Columbus, because in 1988 he was suddenly gone. It was the first time he transported... At least that he knew. His life was completely uprooted and shaken as he found himself in Pembroke, 1185. He was scared, and lost. He didn't know what happened, and people thought he had gone mad with things he spoke of. He quickly learned to keep his mouth shut and play along, with whatever was going on. He'd meet William Marshal who was a knight and taught him how to fight, being rather close with him even when he became the 1st Earl of Pembroke. Eventually though, Zero would suddenly vanish from that time as well; and be placed in 1791.
What was happening? He didn't understand, but he started to suspect he wasn't human... Just because of small things he noticed. First was the whole time jumping thing, but then he was also strong... Like really strong, William told him that he'd never fought someone with his strength and that it surpassed many if not all of the other soldiers. Then there was the whole thing with his body heat, at first he thought it was just a couple of people thinking he was warmer than usual... But he heard it so many times, that he started to wonder if he was truly different. What was he? He needed to find out. He found himself in Louisiana, back in the states. Now being 28 years of age, Zero wasn't as immature and inexperienced. He knew what to do to fit in, at least he thought so... The more days that passed made the 80's become a quick memory. There was no nostalgic moments that could be had, because the time hadn't even occurred yet.
He lived out in the woods, or rather the swamps. He fended for himself mostly until a pretty lady offered him a place at her plantation. That if he would work, they would supply shelter and food. He wasn't sure, being bashful and didn't want to step over any boundaries. However, the woman talked him into coming and he wished he never did. A man named Herbert Livington owned the plantation and he was a nasty old man. He had slaves which he whipped often, and he would rape the younger African American girls on his land. This made Zero sick, and he decided he wouldn't stand by while these people were hurt by this man. He was going to bust them free. That night, Zero was shot by Herbert. Right in the chest, through the heart. He should've died, and for a moment he thought he did. He collapsed out in the grass, but as Herbert walked over to his body the man spit down onto Zero's face and kicked his body with a smirk. He thought he won, and was going to continue to keep slaves and do whatever he pleased. As he chuckled a dark, ominous laugh Zero's eyes snapped opened and he grabbed the man's ankle. Anger consumed him and suddenly his hand began to glow as the man's leg began to disintegrate, spreading up and covering his whole body. Herbert collapsed into a pile of nothing but ash. Zero killed him and the men, women, and children he tried to save watched with wide eyes as this happened. Zero quickly got to his feet and moved over to them, but they yelled at him to stay back. Calling him the devil, Satan. Their words hurt, but he agreed... He wasn't human and maybe he was a devil. Tears stung his eyes but he gave a soft smile before allowing them to run off into the night; before packing his things and doing the same. He would return to the woods.
The woman who invited him to the plantation was the daughter of Herbert, and she witnessed her father's death. She told the town of what she saw. How he died, and after seeing her father's ashes a group of white men rallied together to hunt down the Devil of Louisiana. He was hunted like a wild animal for days, they chased him out of Louisiana and Zero made his way up north. Once he had reached the age of 33, after 5 years of this horrible life he was suddenly thrown into yet another. It was the late 1600's, and he found himself in the town of Salem Massachusetts. He remembered reading about this in school as he grew up, about the trials where innocent people were killed. He never imagined that he would witness it for himself. He watched as the first woman was burned at the stake, Bridgette Bishop. He saw as her child, a pretty little blonde girl sobbed as she screamed and reached out for her mother. His heart broke for this family, for this little girl and he walked over to her, kneeling at her side. Her name was Lily, and he told her his; René. She giggled and told him that it sounded like a woman's name and he agreed with a small laugh. He did his best to cheer up the girl, knowing it was impossible. He decided to give her a small amulet which was of two doves that he had from his life in Louisiana. He told the girl goodbye, and he quickly planned to leave Salem but before he could he was confronted by witches, as they knew he had appeared in a supernatural way. They wanted to know how and what he was, but he did not know. The witches taught him about the supernatural world, and he even picked up on a bit of witchcraft from them. However Zero decided he had to leave as he feared he would be targeted as a suspicious stranger who appeared in town and get lynched himself.
The next time he time hopped, he found himself in London 1887. It was Easter, a holiday he hadn't remembered truly celebrating since he was growing up. The economy wasn't doing too well, as he went around Whitechapel to find a place to live. Depression crept up on him fast and before he knew it, he was getting drunk. He was in the slums, poverty was high and the crime rate was crazy. He couldn't find a job, and he didn't know what to do. Where he fit in here. It was on Good Friday that all of that changed; he met a woman named Mary Jane Kelly and he introduced himself as Joseph Barnett. She was so beautiful, stunning. He hung onto every word that left her lips and when the night came to an end, he asked if they could meet again. She didn't answer right away but then told him that she'd be at the bar again the next night. Zero told her he'd see her then, and he kept his word. The next night they hit it off even more. It was love at first sight, at least he thought so. He'd never felt like this before and here he was 35 years old. It might of been too fast, but the two decided to move in together. He found out that Mary was a prostitute but he didn't care, and knew that the times were harsh. Many women were resorting to selling themselves. Nothing could stop them, they were young and in love. At least for now.
In a little over a year their relationship hit a snag. Zero had lost his recurring job and though she had quit before, Mary decided to begin prostituting again. He didn't want her doing it, he would provide for her but she was stubborn and told him it was the only way to get money. The fight ended up causing Zero to move out for a bit, living in a lodging house. He would leave only a little over a week before she would be murdered. A serial killer was going through the Whitechapel area, and the killer was killing prostitutes. He would eventually be known as Jack the Ripper. When Mary's body was found she was mutilated, and her organs were all cut out of her stomach. However the only thing that was truly missing- was her heart. Zero was crushed, devastated and he regretted his decision to leave. It hurt him to think that she thought he didn't love her. But with pain came rage, and he decided he was going to track down the murderous Ripper. He was questioned and went to court, but he couldn't tell them what they needed to know. Mary was missing her heart, because the killer ate it. He ate it to survive, but the rest was done out of cruelty and plain wickedness. Jack the Ripper was a pure blood werewolf. Zero tracked him down after figuring out what could've done it, and it took quite a few years but once he found him; he made him suffer. The things Zero did to the werewolf are some of the darkest things he'd ever do, and he'd keep it all to himself. The darkness that overtook him as he made the monster pay for the girls it killed, the brutality it caused. After killing it with silver, he disintegrated the body and went on living as a drunk, and homeless. It was during this time that he realized he wasn't aging, and it just caused him to drink more. He was truly immortal. At the age of 56 he'd teleport to another time.
It was 1834, and he found himself in Louisiana once again. Already going through a lot, this just got to him more and when he heard stories of Delphine Lalaurie, and the wicked things she did to her slaves he snapped. Zero rallied up a mob and they went and burnt/destroyed everything she owned. Delphine ran and out of anger Zero chased her down, he wrapped his hands around her neck and let all of his rage take control of him. His monstrous side, his phoenix half and he killed her. She deserved it, but that didn't mean he felt okay with it. Before he could be caught, he ran off and kept to himself the rest of his stay in Louisiana. Zero even attempted to leave the state, and at the age of 68 he was uprooted yet again. This time it was 1340 and he was in Europe.
For once, Zero saw this time as a new life. A chance to try again, a do over. He would do his best to forget everything he had been through and build another life for himself. He was in denial that this life would be ripped from him as well, since it was appearing to be a recurring thing. This time he would meet another woman, but unlike his past love this wasn't love at first sight. It took a little for a relationship to start up but eventually he found himself falling for a woman named Juliana. He was happy and he asked her to marry him, she said yes with no thought. The two got wed and they decided to try and have a baby. However, their perfect little world was flipped on it's head when the Black Death epidemic broke out. Some ancient old force was behind the outbreak, and Zero wanted to help stop it. However, when Juliana caught the disease that plan changed and he stayed right by her side as she slowly worsened and eventually died among the other millions due to the plague. His life continued on and he helped bury the dead, the sheer number of corpses was overwhelming and the things he saw would scar him for the rest of his years. It wasn't until he was 99 years old, that he would move on to his next life.
A dark, isolated time period would start for the man. One that would change him completely. He traveled back 50,000 years, the biggest jump he had done so far. People weren't people. Everything he knew about life was gone, and the only people around were the neanderthals. The world was so primal, animalistic and it forced Zero to survive. He found refugee in a group of neanderthals which were being attacked by another group, with plans on eating them. Zero saved the group and with curiosity they accepted him into their group. He helped teach them what he could, and felt pride in protecting them. Sadly, he saw most of them die out over the course of the 40 something years he lived with them. At 145 years of age, he'd make an even more insane time jump... One where he found himself in the Cretaceous Period, about 145 million years ago. That's right. Fucking dinosaurs. He had to struggle to survive, as the world was even more ancient than where he was before. There were no more interactions with people of any kind, and he almost forgot how to speak. He learned to use different calls in order to communicate with the prehistoric world. He was there until he was about 195 years old.
When he finally did another time jump, he found himself back with people. Now somewhere around 1550 BC. It was a huge difference, now being in Egypt and was captured by an empire to be a slave for them. He could of fought, he could of ran... But honestly, he didn't want to. He missed the interactions with humans even if they were shitty. He didn't speak, it was as if he forgot how to. Besides, he didn't speak their language so he had to pick it up as he was there. He lived his life as a slave for 43 years, and he didn't finally speak until about 20 years in when he connected with an elderly woman that cared for him almost as her own son, as her actual one died due to dehydration in the desert.
During his next life time he found himself in Hiroshima, Japan... And he wasn't exactly welcomed. He was there when the city was bombed. Had he not been a phoenix, he would've died. The war raged on, and Zero found himself trying to get back to the United States. When asked his name, he began telling people it was Zero. When they would ask why, or if that was his actual name he'd never give an explanation. Just that it was his name. Because he was no one, he didn't know who he was. Once he was 261 years old, he found himself another slave of sorts, but this time a gladiator in the 1st Century BC. He was known as an undefeatable warrior. Rage began to consume Zero, and it seemed like the only emotion he would display. Part of him enjoyed fighting, enjoyed being a gladiator. His next life though, when he was 284 years old he got a must needed change. Zero found himself in 533 BC, and ended up meeting a man who was known as Gautama Buddha. It was crazy to meet him, knowing the impact he would have on the world. The monk taught him how to meditate and it was due to him that Zero began to gain control of himself and look for inner peace. He started to search for things that made him feel at ease, which was nature. The sky. It was one thing that never changed when he time traveled. There would be clouds, stars at night, and the sun would come up and go down each day. He found his solace.
[At age 362 - 368 he has more to be added but due to plot reasons it is being kept out of his application until a later time.]
When appearing in the 1850's, somewhere in Indiana he met a man named John Wesley Posey and found out his passion for helping those enslaved. Having his own passions about it, Zero decided he would assist him in helping slaves escape through the underground railroad. It was during this time that Zero's heart began to soften once again, and he felt more of a connection with people. A lot of it had to do with meditation that Gautama taught him. He lived in Indiana for 23 years before having to leave again at the age of 391.
Another year, another life. As always he found himself drifting along when he was found by a group of vikings. Perhaps it was luck, but the Viking King took kindly to him as he reminded him of his son. He allowed Zero to join them and one night they were attacked by a vampiric group of vikings. Many were lost, including the King who took Zero under his wing. He gave his crown to Zero and announced him as the new King, in front of all of the other vikings to see. As he bled out he kissed his two middle fingers and placed them to Zero's forehead before his hand dropped as he suddenly died. Zero declared that he would get vengeance for the King, and he lead the vikings in tracking down the vampires. It was a night where the vampire vikings were raiding a town along the shore when Zero's group came swooping in and murdering all of the monsters; he left none to live.
When he finally went to another time, he was thrown in 2000's and was about 463 years old. The world was so different, it was bad in it's own right but it wasn't like what he had been through before. He had a chance to have a normal life, and that's what he did. He decided to pursue medicine and became a doctor under the guise of Williamson. During his time as a doctor he met a young girl named Clancy who was sick with a very strange, and powerful disease. Zero knew what it was from, the same dark ancient old force that was the cause of his wife's death so many years back. He cared about his patient a lot, but did his best to try and keep distant from her. He did his best with the knowledge of magic he had to slow her infection down but there was nothing he could truly do and she died. The loss of his patient hurt quite a bit, and he wished it didn't. He realized his job was letting him get attached to people again. Realizing his parents could still be alive, Zero went to track them down but found out his father died of the cancer he had and his mother had just died recently before he arrived.
Like clockwork, but for a very unreliable clock, Zero left that life behind as he appeared in another time. He appeared to the Aztec people and created fire with his abilities, gifting the power of flame. After teaching them how to start fires, he also taught them how to hunt and eventually over time he was labeled the god named Mixcoatl. After about a year with them, he finally jumped into the future. Into the 1950's. Life was interesting, and he again tried to do the normal thing. He told himself not to let himself get close to people but he met a hunter, a man named David. It was strange, he never had feelings for another man like this. He was attracted to them, sure, but he never had a relationship with one but he had profound feelings for David. But just like his relationships of the past, he lost David too. When it was found out that he and David were in a homosexual relationship, a group of police officers rallied up and beat David to death, lynching him in his own front yard. The anger that Zero was so well at keeping in check, at least much better than he had in the past slipped away as he decided to beat all of the officers himself. He wanted to kill them, he should have. But something stop him; the spirit of David appeared to him and told him to let it go. It was a bittersweet goodbye and Zero didn't kill the officers but he beat the shit out of them.
Soon he realized that time was approaching to the point where he was with his parents as a kid and he traveled to Columbus Ohio. He saw the night his father took him from the alley, he couldn't help but watch from afar, watch their lives. His life. He watched as his younger self vanished and then his father got more sick and while he was on his death bed, Zero couldn't help but sneak in to see him. It startled Jerold who asked where he was, demanded to know. But Zero couldn't answer. He had his final goodbyes with his father as tears fell down his face and he saw him take his last breaths. Even after over 600 years, it was still incredibly hard to see it happen. He'd go on to be the famous Henry Every, one of the most successful pirates in history before suddenly vanishing. He'd then go on to live in Rome after another time jump in which some crazy women matrons poisoned him to kill him, just out of plain craziness, they claimed their ingredients were medicinal but were forced to drink them to prove it and they died. Many men died, and it was thought to be a plague at first.
After Rome, at the age of 659 he appeared in the UK. He spent some time there before wanting to leave and go back to the states, in which he gained a ticket for the RMS Titanic. He was roommates with a man named William Smith, who he got along with pretty well. Something about the man put Zero at ease, he trusted him. Though he didn't see him when the ship went down. He assumed he drowned that night, among the many other passengers. He used his ability to teleport and escape the ship as it sank, he attempted to save others but he could only save one other person. A man, who he teleported to New York. Granted the man freaked out and no one would ever believe he was on the Titanic but, it's all Zero could do.
In 1930 he transported once again but this time he was caught by some crazy man named Cuthbert Sinclair. He used magic of some kind to capture Zero and he was a prisoner as some kind of supernatural antique of his for 13 years before suddenly vanishing and actually being thankful for it, for once. Zero lived another 500 years, popping in out of lives. Then at the age of 1,192 he appeared in a strange apocalyptic future. It was 20034 and the world was screwed over by some monster named Cyrus, but he had vanished and left the world to try and recollect the pieces. Zero lived there until he was 1,217 before vanishing and moving on to 600 more years of random lives that he drifted through.
Once he was 1,817 he was sent to the wild west and lived his life as a drifting cowboy. The lifestyle honestly suited him quite well... And he lived that life until he was 1,844 before transporting once again... To Zeppelin City.

Dean watched as the young blonde suddenly stood up and held out her hand. She was leaving? Dean couldn't help but feel a bit of disappointment. Little did he know the blonde thought Dean was trying to get rid of her even though that was not his intentions. He also stood and took her hand shaking it lightly but firmly, the electrical shock he felt earlier not as strong as the first time. When she leaned over and kissed his cheek it took him a little off guard. Her warm yet moist lips sent a feeling much stronger then the electrical shocks he felt earlier every time they made slight contact. What was it about this girl?.... It was something very different, he felt an almost... pull to her like she was a magnet and he was just a fine piece of metal. Again, his mind blamed it on the fact that he was in Purgatory for a year and this was really the first time he had been with a girl alone in quite sometime.
Dean took her phone and put the number in, all the while realizing that she would probably never call. He knew better then anyone that you don't give the person your number you get theirs. He handed her the phone and their fingers brushed against each other. She put the phone back in her bag.
"Thank you again,"
As she looked at him, their eyes met once again, gazing into one another's for a split moment before a small sigh escaped her lips. Before Dean could ask what was wrong a knock and a small voice came from outside the door.
"Housekeeping!"
Dean immediately furrowed his eyebrows. What the hell was housekeeping coming around at this time? It wasn't right, and Dean knew it. He had been living in motels forever, it wasn't time for this. Not only that, but Dean had specifically asked to keep housekeeping away until after he was done with the room, just something he started doing just in case he planned on staying a while. Dean went to grab Bethany's arm as she turned to open the door but wasn't quick enough.
"Wait, don't- - "
Beth opened the door and there stood a rather small middle aged woman with with black hair pulled into a pony-tail and a light blue cleaning uniform. Dean's eyebrows stayed furrowed as he looked at the woman but her words sent a shier down his spine and blood pumping his heart even faster.
"Hello, Bethany,"
The woman's eyes turned coal black and her cold, devilish half-smile sent another shiver down Dean's spine when suddenly Beth was sent flying into the wall. The demon sped in, the door slamming behind her. It was if she didn't notice Dean, that she didn't even care that he was standing there as her glare stayed hooked on Bethany who was now being pinned to the wall with telekinesis. As she was being held there a coat hook stabbed through the poor girl's left shoulder.
Dean's index finger on his right hand twitched as he stood there for a second. Before long the Winchester was moving and pulling out a canteen of holy water from under his pillow. Thankfully back when he got the credit cards Dean also got the basics, salt, holy water, borax, the works. He quickly spun around a toss a bit at the demon, making her grab at her face and scream as she steamed. Thanks to the sudden pain, the demon's hold on Bethany was gone and she fell to the floor. Dean quickly sprinkled more on the demon and moved in front of the door.
The woman stood there, her hands covering her face as she was bent over and looking down. She slowly lifted her head and pulled her hands away. Her eyes going wide and the pitch black being even more visible.
"Dean Winchester?!"
The demon shrieked and as she went to quickly leave the body Dean kicked with full force and she was pushed back, falling on a rug set up at the foot of the bed. She looked up quickly at the ceiling seeing nothing and frowned, trying to leave again but when she couldn't her eyes shot to Dean. Dean walked over slowly and smirked, lifting up the corner of the rug revealing a devils trap. He spoke in a low and cocky tone.
"Got you, bitch."
The demon squinted her eyes and tilted her head as Dean got up and rushed over to Beth.
"You..... I heard you were gone, everyone did. How are you here?"
Dean ignored the demon and squatted to Bethany's side, his eyes full of concern. He looked at her and upon seeing her injury he quickly wrapped his arm around her and helped her up.
"Don't worry... You'll be okay... I'll fix you up."
Dean walked her over to the bed and sat her down, ways away from the demon. After looking at her wound again, he looked into her eyes.
"Hang in there..."
Dean turned around and walked up to the demon, standing right outside of the devil's trap.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He nodded back at Beth. "What do you want from her?"
"Not going to make me talk, Winchester." The demon shook her head and smirked.
"Yeah?" Dean raised his eyebrows as he splashed more water in her face causing her to hiss. "Sure about that?"
The demon decided not to respond and Dean's anger and disgust took over.
"Fine. " Dean looked down at her, his glare latched onto her and not going anywhere. "Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, omnis congregatio et secta diabolica."
They'll love to know you are back!" The demon growled at Dean, causing him to pause a moment. "Yeah, well tell them I sent you." Dean paused again with a slight smirk and then he finished the exorcism. "Ergo, draco maledicte. Excclesiam tuam securi tibi facias libertate servire, te rogamus, audi nos."
A cloud of black smoke came spewing violently from the woman's mouth and when down through the floor. Dean took a breath and quickly turned around to see Beth. He swallowed and walked quickly back over to Beth, sitting on the bed next to her.
"I..... should patch you up now."
The body of the woman laid there, not moving as she was gone. Dean reached over to the nightstand, bending over Beth slightly and pulling open the drawer revealing some medical equipment.
