❤ Horses- Ever since she was little, she has been fascinated with horses. She finds them to be such beautiful creatures. They also remind her a much simpler time when every wasn't all technology.

Personality:
Alayna is a fairly quiet person and she tends to keep to herself a lot. She doesn't find it that easy to make friends so she usually prefers to stick alone. Although she keeps to herself, she is a very good and loyal friend to someone once she actually makes a friend. Because she isn't really that good at making friends, when she finds someone she finds worth being around, she hangs onto them. Alayna is also very bold and outspoken when she has an opinion, so is isn't afraid to speak her mind which gets her in trouble from time to time. She also isn't afraid to stick up for herself which could be a good thing or a bad thing at certain times.
Although Alayna is withdrawn, she has a good heart. She just doesn't always show it. She likes to help if she feels her held is needed or deserved. Though she is usually a serous person, she has a funny side too. When she is comfortable with someone, she will crack jokes and cut up. Yes, Alayna can be a sweet person, but she also has a dark side. Her temper can get the best of her sometimes but she tries to fight it whenever she feels it bubble up.

History: Alayna was the first born to Aethelred and Emma Beckwith on April 19th, 1428. She was born and raised in Warwickshire, England where she spent a small portion of her life. She grew up in a decently wealthy home considering her father worked for the royal family at that time. Because her father was around the castle most of the time, so was her family. Alayna made friends with the King's son, Noah, when she was around six years old, and he was only two years older than her. One day, Noah took her Alayna out to the stables to show her a few things that he had seen from a woman in the town. When they were at the stables, he pulled out an old book with strange marks on it and showed it to her. Alayna being young and curious, she let him show her a few things in the book. Though being caught doing witchcraft was punishable by death, she had no idea. Because she has such a curious mind, she continued to meet Noah at the stables so he could show her more of the book. As they got older, they started using more magic to see if they how much they could learn. It was fun for Alayna. She was always expected to act a certain way, and when they were practicing magic, she felt free. Like it was natural. So they found more books and began studying abroad. Alayna and Noah always found safe and secret places to practice.
As they got older, they grew more knowledgeable and powerful with magic. One night, Alayna was practicing her magic and her mother walked into her room while she was. Petrified, she stood there and stared at Emma because she wasn’t sure how to react to being caught. But when her mother hugged her, she relaxed a bit. Emma sat Alayna down and explained to her the history of their family and that witches go back in their line for quite some time. Alayna had so many questions and her mother gladly answered all of them. Emma even helped teach Alayna, and when she learned more, she taught Noah. When she turned seventeen, she was only interested in staying to herself and practicing her magic. Her relationship with Noah had gotten distant because he had to become more involved with helping his father and their people. She didn’t feel like she belonged there anymore. Alayna started thinking of things she could do with her life and all she could think of was getting away from Warwickshire. She kept getting the feeling that she was destined for something bigger. So, one night, she packed a few things when everyone was asleep and she left a note for her parents. She went to the stables and got a horse, leaving it all behind her.
After Alayna left the village, she felt an automatic release on herself. Like she could be her true self. Her favorite part about getting out of the village was the fact that she was getting to explore more. She didn’t really talk to many people, she just spent her time admiring the different villages and scenery. Once, she was in a small country village and she found herself along the side of a river. She couldn’t help but sit on the river bank, take a deep breath, and admire the scene around her. Because she was in such awe, she started thinking of perfect words to describe what was in front of her. In that moment, she could feel her love for writing start to form. She was on the river bank for quite a while with her mind spaced out. When it started getting dark out, she was pulled from her thoughts when she heard a bunch of people yelling. Being naturally curious, she get up and followed the voices. Alayna got into down and saw a group of people surrounding a man who was tied to a post. Another man walked up holding a torch, talking about burning the witch. She stood and watched for a second trying to process it because she herself was a witch. The feeling to help overwhelmed her and she pushed the people surrounding him back with telekinesis. She ran up and untied him, telling him to haul ass. They took off running until they finally got out of sight from the obviously angry mob. The man introduced himself as Brandon Bell. She introduced herself and said she was passing through. As soon as she said she was passing through, he said he was as well and asked if he could join her. She wasn’t going to say no because he clearly needed some help and she was taught to help those in need. Not only did she meet a man that day, she made a friend as well.
Alayna and Brandon spent a lot of time together, years even, traveling all over England. They spent so much time together that they weren’t just friends, they had become best friends. It came to the point of where they knew each other like the back of their hand. Alayna felt like she had found someone who understood her and she loved it.In that time, she discovered that he was a bit older than her and knew even more about magic, so she asked him to teach her everything he knew about it. As they bounced from town to town, he would teach her bits and pieces of the magic he knew. As they traveled, she would see object that were from previous years and she started collecting them. Brandon told her that she was sick because she knew that they were from their time. She didn’t mind because it intrigued her so much to see things from her past. After a while, they had seen everything there was to see in England so they decided to move on. They traveled the world for so many years until the time came that they felt like they wanted to visit different places. So, they split ways but they always stayed in touch. Alayna took off, revisiting places that she loved the most. She stayed to herself most of the time, making a friend here and there. But she would mostly wait to hear from Brandon so they could meet up and go on even more crazy adventures that they love so much.
Throughout the years, she spent her time reading as many books as she could. She loved reading just as much as she loved magic. She also loved the changing of the times and found herself loving the music that changed along with it. Alayna spent a lot of her time going to concerts in the later years. She finally got enough of traveling for a while and wanted to find a place to settle in for a few years. When she found herself in the United States in 2010, she also found herself down in the heart of Louisiana. The place pulled to her so much that she bought a house and automatically felt at home. She felt so at home that she wanted to go out and explore the town more. During one of her daily explorations, she came across the public library and she went in every day after discovering it. Because she was in there so much, she made friends with the librarian who also happened to be the owner. Carol, the owner, told Alayna that she was wanting to retire and asked her if she was interested in buying it since she was in there every day anyway. She felt like she had to because she didn’t want the building falling into the wrong hands and she wanted to take care of it. So, Alayna bought it off of Carol and kept everything in order. Her days were pretty much a routine. Wake up, spend the day at the library, and then get a drink at the bar before heading home. One night, she was in the bar when a fight broke out and she just sat back and watched as it unraveled. When the fight was finally over, the last girl standing came up and sat at the bar next to her and ordered her drink. Alayna cracked up and offered to buy her a drink for walking out of the fight. She sat and talked to the girl who introduced herself as Rachel Decker. They talked for quite a while and she had found herself another friend. And a local one at that. Over the course of a few years, she and Rachel became best friends. They learned pretty much everything about each other and they stayed together because neither of them were really the social type. With being settled in Louisiana and seeing Brandon from time to time, she felt at home there. So that is where she stayed up to the present.

*She raises her eyebrows a little and slowly nods* “This is true. No point in denying it.”
*Brandon just shakes his head and relaxes*
