Personality: Jade is known as the quiet one. Not that she doesn't talk or isn't sociable or anything like that. She likes to think things through. Sometimes over thinking things. Stoic and analytical she likes to plan things out. Trying to get everything perfect, a place for everything and everything in it's place. Being prepared is what she believes is the way to make sure everyone comes back alive.
You could say she takes the job of hunting seriously. She can be intense and that overflows into everything, not just hunting. It's all about focus for her. When she's on a job, she's focused on it. When she's out to have a good time, she's just as intent on that as well.
To people that don't know her they might thing she's a bit cold or heartless but that's not the case. Mostly she keeps things wrapped up tight inside her. She feels intensely just like everything else in her life, she just rarely lets it show. Normally she waits until she's along before she'll let anything out. On occasion there are a select few (very few) people that she will talk to or let see her cry and be emotional.

History: Jade was born in a small town outside of Charleston, West Virginia. Her mother and father were both young, teenagers, not ready for the responsibility of a baby. Though they made and attempt to take care of her, the child authorities were called numerous times and the baby Jade was taken out of the home only to be sent back there when her parents seemingly got their shit together. It was a yo-yoing back and forth for the little girl. When she was three, her father left altogether. Her mother still tried to take care of her but it was worse than before. At one point her mother moved them to the city of Charleston. There she fell into drugs and prostitution and Jade was again in and out of the child welfare system. Mostly in.
At the age of four Jade was sent into a temporary home again. It ended up being a very long stint. After some time one of the social workers came to visit her and told her that her mother had died. The then five year old Jade didn't have much of a reaction other than to shrug and ask where she was going now.
Left alone in the world now, she bounced around the system. Sometimes foster homes, sometimes group homes. There were some behavioral problems at time. Mostly fights. The girl didn't talk a lot. Kept to herself.
One day while she had gone off to one of her secret places to be alone, she met another girl. Kennedy Stark. The girls became friends. Agreeing to meet each other everyday at the secret spot. They talked about their dreams and wanted to go to New York and be famous. Unfortunately, the time came for Kennedy's family to move on to their next job. The girls were both upset over what to do. They decided they would do what they had been dreaming about and run away to New York.
Of course, running off to New York didn't turn out to be what they thought it would be. It was hard for two teenage girls to be on the road alone. They made it as far as Connecticut when they realized they needed to re-think their situation. They went to the bus station and met a boy there. He told them about a place they could go. Though, Jade wasn't sure about the whole thing she thought it was probably better than going back to West Virginia and Kennedy having to go back to her parents where they would not see each other again. So, they went to the Coleman's.
Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to Jade. For the first time she was accepted as part of a family. A real family. Not just some foster parent waiting on the check from the county every month. Jade and Kennedy were best friends, the boy who they had met at the bus station, Dillon became one of their closest friends as well. Along with Troy and Megan. All of them living with the Coleman's.
Things were good for the next couple of years. Then one night they were walking home from a coffee shop when they were attacked by a stray dog. The dog bit Dillon and before anyone else could react, the all stood and stared as Kennedy jumped into action. Watching as her best friend stabbed the dog, killing it dead. Kennedy then explained to them that it wasn't a dog. It was a skinwalker and Dillon was going to become one now. Whatever disbelief Jade had at first was washed away when it became obvious that Dillon was changed. Accepting it for what it was, Jade wanted to help and started to learn everything she could to be prepared.
The group soon started hunting. They got an RV to travel in and for the last several years that's what they've done. Researching strange occurrences. Going from place to place and hunting down supernatural baddies.
Jade has been stuck in Zepplin City for a while now. At first it was really weird, some super crazy shit happened as well and it was hard to deal with all that since they didn't know how they got there in the first place. However, after a while you just kind of come to accept things and you have to go on with life.
That's why when the city started to function she took a job as a police officer. She also started sort of dating Steven Winchester for a while, but then he was paralyzed when his own brother accidentally shot him. Since then, he pushed her away, no matter what she did to try and maintain contact with him. He outright refused to see her and she finally had to let go and kind of became a little bit of a recluse herself. Currently she lives with her best friend Kennedy and mostly keeps to herself unless she's working.

RP Sample: Savannah came into the clubhouse through the back door. Coming into the kitchen to fix herself some hot chocolate before she went out to see what was happening today. No kids for a little while and she tried to take the opportunity to come and make her presence known. See if Simi needed any help keeping the home fires burning and all that.
What a difference a year makes, she thought to herself. Last Christmas she had just found out she was pregnant. Now she and Jesse were married with three kids and things at home were hectic to say the least. Twin baby girls were a handful and Jake was getting more and more independent. Pushing his boundaries. The boy was still adjusting to the massive change in his life that occurred over the last year and a half. Jake was developing a close bond with his father and that was a good thing. Things would settle down eventually and even if they didn't, what she had was worth it. Everything always came down to that. She had what was important and that's what really mattered.
A mug of hot chocolate in hand, Savannah made her way out to the main room. Quietly looking around to see who was there. She spied Simi by herself, seemingly lost in thought, staring at the Christmas tree. Not wanting to intrude on the other woman's solitude Savannah moved quietly in Simi's direction. She looked up at the tree and spotted the personalized memorial ornaments and a small smile tipped her lips. It wasn't too hard to guess what Simi was thinking about.
"Seems like such a long time since last Christmas. Doesn't it? The ornaments were a great idea. A nice touch."
Reaching out she let a finger touch the teddy bar ornament with Cope's name on it. They had lost a lot since last year. Been through so much in such a short period of time. It's no wonder why people were reeling and on edge. Now they were plopped down in another completely new and volatile situation. Another Christmas where doom and gloom loomed over their heads.
Well, to hell with that.
They made it through last year and even had a good Christmas at the old cabin out in the woods. By God, they could do it again this year. Come hell or high water Savannah wanted to make that so.
"It's all what we make of it, you know. Things have been rough, but we've been through rough before. We can do this. Even with the hard times, we have a lot to be thankful for. We should celebrate it. Maybe we should have a Christmas party or something. Make it mandatory."
Savannah chuckled a bit at that.
"We'll force everyone to have fun and be happy. Damn it, it's Christmas time. We're owed that. We need it."
