Demons

Demons are evil, nasty, things that come straight out of Hell. These guys have different abilities depending on which kind you meet. They are usually always for themselves and are always after something, even if that something is just torturing and killing. If one is after you just use some holy water and salt, well... as long as they aren't high leveled. Know what's the craziest part? These guys use to be humans, just like many of you who are reading this.

These are the lowest of the demons out there, usually. They like to come and play around with the humans, or are usually working for some higher leveled demon. They possess whoever fits their tastes then takes that body on a ride. Depending on the demon they might let the body get hurt or hurt it themselves, but with them in it, it keeps the person alive. These guys even possess dead bodies, they can be quite the little weeds.

Abilities Allowed:




• Demonic Possession - Like angels, demons require a human vessel or "meat suit" to travel on Earth. Unlike angels, they do not need a person's consent. Also, unlike angels, demons can possess corpses. It is easier to take control of people who are in states of heightened emotions or fear. This ability can be thwarted by Anti-possession tattoos. Also under certain circumstances, the person being possessed can regain control if his or her will is strong enough.


• Electromagnetic Interference - Demons, like spirits, often disrupt nearby electronics with their presence.


• Flight - Only when in their natural forms.


• Immortality - Demons have an indefinitely long lifespan and an arrested aging process.


• Invulnerability - Injuries that would be fatal to humans, such as broken necks or gunshot wounds, have very little - if any - effect on demons. They can only be killed by special weapons or rituals. Unlike angels they don't heal their vessels. If the "meatsuit" receives too much damage they simply find another human to possess, leaving their former vessel to die.


• Super stamina - Demons never tire, and do not require food, water, oxygen, or sleep to sustain themselves. They also do not get hot or cold.


• Super strength - Demons possess superior physical strength compared to that of humans; capable of physically overpowering humans and most monsters. The higher ranking the demon, the stronger it is. The highest ranking demons can overpower low-level angels.


• Supernatural Perception - Demons are able to see hidden supernatural activity and beings, such as Reapers, ghosts, and Hellhounds.


• Supernatural Senses - Demons have an enhanced sense of smell and taste.


• Telekinesis - Demons can move or suspend objects and other beings with their minds. Higher ranking demons can use this ability to kill people by snapping their necks.


These abilities are for higher ranking demons, if using any of these abilities make sure to state that your demon is higher ranked.


• Biokinesis - Some demons can manipulate the biology of other beings


• Electrokinesis - Being able manipulate electronic equipment to their will.


• Invisibility - Some demons can become invisible to humans.


• Pyrokinesis - Some demons can generate and manipulate fire.


• Soul Reading - Some demons, particularly Crossroad Demons, can assess the condition of one's soul.


• Spell Casting - Some demons can practice witchcraft, much like witches, like altering the range/space they occupy. Other demons are adept in Enochian magic which they use to protect themselves from Angels.


• Teleportation - Some demons can travel from one place to another instantly, without occupying the space in between.


• Terrakinesis - Very Rare; Some demons can create small earthquakes.


• Thermokinesis - Being able to manipulate the temperature, particularly to make it more hot.


• Healing - The ability to heal others out of the context of a deal, albeit a small wound.

The Crossroad demons, they can be summoned to guess what? A crossroads, guess that's how they got their name. Basically someone summons one of these guys and have the demon grant a wish. What's the price? Oh, just you're life. Look. if you think it's worth it, more power to you. They can basically do almost anything, bring someone back to life, kill someone, get ya famous, whatever you want.

Abilities Allowed:




• Possession - Standard demon power.


• Super Strength - Standard demon power.


• Reality Warping - The Crossroad Demon's main power is that it can manipulate reality to make the wishes of the mortals it deals with come true, they can't however do this without a deal for a soul. Their ability is purely down to a spell casting, rather than innate power. Although never specified, there are limits to what they are capable of.


• Teleportation - They have the ability to teleport, and commonly appear when summoned to make deals.


• Immortality - As demons they have the potential to live forever, some have been known to make deals for decades.


• Invulnerability - Standard demon power, still vulnerable to demonic weaknesses though.

These guys are the big guns down in hell. They are very high on the food chain and usually could care less for any lower leveled demons. These demons can't be hurt by most of the things normal demons can be injured by. You come across one of these guys, and you're a hunter, take my advice. Run.


Special Info: There were only a couple of these demons in the show. With how powerful they are and how rare they actually are they will be limited. Keep in mind positions an open or close whenever staff see fit. Don't worry that doesn't mean you lose you're character if we close them.

• Amon  




Abilities Allowed: (They are able to use most if not all higher ranked demonic powers)




• Access to/from Hell - High ranking demons can easily teleport themselves back and forth between Earth and Hell, without the need for any complex summoning ritual or assistance.


• Enhanced Immunity - As a general rule, the more powerful the demon, the more resistant they are to harm and common anti-demon methods such as salt and Holy Water. High ranking demons like Alastair were immune to the Killing Touch of normal Angels and the Demon killing knife.


• White Light - High ranking demons can use this to generate massive amounts of destructive energy that can obliterate large areas.

There has only been one and his name was Azazel. He was basically Lucifer's right hand man, and seems he might of taken over hell while he was away. His powers went on and on, and he had many demons working for him. He is the reason for some psychic/demon kids running about. He was stopped by the Winchesters though, so it seems there are no more left.

Special Info: Azazel was the only yellow-eyed demon to come out of the show. For now no yellow-eyed demons will be accepted, you never know though so keep you're eyes open.

Abilities Allowed: Able to do mostly everything other demons can but to a much higher level.

These are demons that don't fit in the above categories. Ones like Samhain, who was the origin of Halloween and had mono-colored eyes. Other demons like Acheri, Daeva, and the seven deadly sins would fit here too. Oh, and things like me..... hell hounds.

Note- The seven princes of hell also fit under this category for the most part, and in order to reserve one of them you must do so on the Canon Page.
