Abilities
-Survival Adaptation
Mila has the ability to adapt to any changes to her environment and dangers to herself in mere seconds. Her body will alter its very chemistry and make-up in order to ensure her survival, no matter what the coast and its a constantly changing variable that she has learned to control and trigger at will as well as allow it to do it on its own. A few adaptations she have explored before are:
*Underwater Adaptation
When submerging herself in water, she will grow gills and her hands and feet will become webbed. She will be able to breathe and move with ease underwater.
*Heat Adaptation
When exposed to fire or extreme heat, her skin will coat itself in a fire and heat-resistant chemical that will allow her to survive with little issue
*Cold Adaptation
When exposed to low temperatures, Mila's body will generate more heat. She generates enough heat in fact that she doesn't really need to wear coats during the winter.
*Night Time Adaptation
At night or in dark environments, Mila's eyes will become cat-like, allowing her to see at night with ease as her pupils become wide and take in more light that others wouldn't pick up on.
*Weakened Adaptation
When Mila's body isn't properly sustained with food, water and sleep it will alter how it spends it's energy in such a way to preserve it more. It will let her function, but by no means be at the top of her game, but it will be less agonizing for her and allow her to function longer than the average person through extreme hunger, dehydration, or sleep deprivation
She can adapt to nearly any situation and this list of adaptations are only a few of the situations she has been exposed to, but there are many others she could potentially develop and change as she goes. Her ability also grants her:
Enhanced Immunity:
With her body adapting to its environment constantly, she has a strong immune system
Accelerated Healing:
By no means instantaneous, but its faster than a normal human. What might take someone a month to heal would take her a few weeks instead.
-Cyclone Spin
By spinning her body at high speeds, Mila has the ability to cause gale-force winds and move about freely while doing it. These winds can throw people around with ease and she can generate small cyclones around. It can make an effective shielding for her as well, as most objects launched into it, including bullets, can be blown off course or loose their momentum entirely and begin swirling in the vortex to be thrown away or become flying debris. When on Angel Blood, her vortex can expand from a simple cyclone to a powerful F5 worthy twister that can cause devastating damage to everything in the surrounding area.
*Fire Vortex
By combining her ability with Lizzie's teachings, Mila has the ability to fill the air around her with burning hot flames, effectively becoming a spinning vortex of fire that not only blows powerful wings, but has powerful, spinning flames.
-Mediumship
Mila has the ability to see, channel, contact and speak to the dead, even convince them to help if she needs it. Through a lot of experience with Zee, Mila has learned much about ghosts involving how to help them, use them, and converse with them.
-Magic
Learned from Lizzie, Mila's magic is fairly average, but she can commit to a unique ritual where she can call upon spirits from the Nether to enhance hers or her comrades capabilities. She can enhance their physical or special abilities through this ritual. She can also cast basic charms, warding and spells. More recently she has begun researching opening portals to and from The Nether. Lastly, she has a special spell she can use to control a ghost and bend them to her will, a magical copy to the enchantments that Zee received from a witch to control her connected spirits.

✗ People who become amused by hurting other people are a no go with her. Her dislike for this was ingrained into her by both of her mothers.
✗ Seeing people sad. She spent enough time around Zee to see people at their highs and lows and she hates seeing them at their lows, often doing her best to make people feel better when they aren't at their best.
✗ People bringing up her birth and her biological mother in a negative manner - she knows Sylvia had a good reason for giving her up and doesn't judge her at all, so insulting her doesn't fly with Mila at all.

Personality:
Mila is a strong willed girl with the need to help people. She was brought up to be charitable and relentless, albeit a bit reckless, and do her best to help people how she can, whenever she can. She's very open about who she is, having no shame in the person she has turned out to be and she only seriously regrets one thing in life and that is not getting to know her biological mother very well. She seeks to do her parents proud and tries to hold up Zee and Lizzie's ideals at all times, using her powers for good and helping both the living and the dead... while finding some time for some interesting adventure and fun somewhere in between. She takes great joy in adventuring - be that on big hunts, working with Robbie to fulfill his destiny, or even the imaginary ones where she is in a totally different world and roleplaying someone else.
She's often generous, giving to people who are lacking. She's also rather creative, enjoying writing on forums and LARPing as well as writing songs. She can be a bit hard headed and rude at times as well, a trait she picked up from Zee's attitude when she is annoyed. She's fairly loyal, but that loyalty is sometimes a downfall to her as she can be exploited through it, and has been before - the same goes for her selflessness that she learned from Lizzie. She values human life, even creature life, and is a bit more hesitant to kill outright - but if her hand is forced, she will pull the trigger in the defense of herself or another, or when she knows she has to do it.

History:
Sylvia Thresher seemed to have finally gotten her life back on track when she learned to control her abilities. She had a stable job, a loving girlfriend, she was given full ride scholarships to many high-end universities and everything was simply just... perfect. That was, however, until her world got turned upside down fast at a college dorm party when a few male students dosed Sylvia's drink with a sleeping medication and took advantage of her in her disoriented state where she couldn't defend herself or use her abilities. When she came to the next morning, found by her friend who had come searching for her, she was found naked in an empty building. After reporting what happened, the culprits were quickly found and put away for the rape charges - but Sylvia also came to learn later that she was pregnant.
Despite the shame she felt, Sylvia couldn't bring herself to abort the child and instead gave birth to it only to quickly give it up to adoption - unable to accept it as her daughter. She gave the child up to two people she knew would take care of it - that being Zee Walker and Lizzie Shields, a couple she'd met during her stay in Zeppelin City. The couple gladly took the child, knowing that she'd eventually develop abilities, and cared for her as it if were their own. Mila grew up in a household that encouraged creativity and charitably. Zee - or rather Abigail - was an aspiring music star and worked as a medium in the supernatural community, while Lizzie worked on many charity movements and had become a well known philanthropist. Mila was exposed to both of her parents occupations, growing a love for helping people in their hard times to the sound of music on a stage, all while learning to use her abilities as a medium from Zee and magic from Lizzie.
When her Deva abilities began surfacing when she reached the age of twelve and a small house fire lit in the families home. Mila was set aflame but she didn't have a single burn on her when Lizzie put both her and the fire out with her magic. Finding it odd, they brought her in to be examined by Scott Jacobs only to learn that Mila's first ability had surfaced - "she had an adaptable biological makeup to outside stimuli" as Scott put it - in English, she would adapt to her environment. A year later, she discovered her second ability totally by accident when she was spinning in Zee's managers office chair. She kept going faster and faster... until there was a small tornado in the managers office that threw everything around. It was after this instance where the couple decided to send Mila off to Luke Sullivan's school to learn to use her abilities alongside her magical and psychic abilities and, finally, hunting.
Mila was quickly homesick when she arrived, but she adapted quickly. She became skilled at the use of her powers rather and somewhere along the line met Robbie Winchester. She was pretty happy with things and how they were going, but one day she heard that a woman had stopped by the school to help Scott Jacobs with a genetics examination on a few Deva's - that woman being named Sylvia Thresher. Mila knew her biological mothers name, Zee and Lizzie never hid from her that she was adopted, but she had never met her biological mother in person. She went and sneaked into the lab where Sylvia and Scott were working near the school only to be caught by Scott - who had not slowed down in his old age. He nearly kicked her out until she mentioned why she was there, and so he brought her to Sylvia.
Sylvia... wasn't sure how to take meeting Mila. She never intended on speaking to her, but she admitted she had watched Mila for much of her life from a distance, admitting she checked in with Zee and Lizzie regularly to know the goings on. Despite how she was conceived... Mila was still her daughter, but the longer Sylvia spent talking to Mila, the more upset she became and she nearly lost control of her ability. She told Mila that they shouldn't speak again, for both of their sakes, because Sylvia didn't know if she could control herself around her - not able to look at her face without seeing the men who had violated her. Mila was reluctant at first but complied, leaving Sylvia alone.
A few years after, she found herself stumbling into a big adventure with Robbie and some of his friends - something about fulfilling his destiny. She was more than willing to help with that.

Revan let everything Lucy was saying hit her at once, and it felt like the feeling the Angel got when she was still powerful, when someone shot her with a shotgun. She felt terrible, like someone had punched her in the gut, or hit her with a baseball bat. She turned around and her hand went over her mouth, feeling like she was going to throw up. It was better that Lucy was dead than deserving this... No one deserved to be a ghost, the sad, sad existence.
Her throat tightened and tears began to well up, trying a hard as she could to keep from breaking down here on the floor.
She turned to Lucy, seemingly three shades paler, her hair not nearly as vibrant as it seemed to be three years ago, her grey eyes dulled to a shade of black. "Lucy... its 2013..." Revan hadn't been keeping track but she had counted three New Years celebrations since Lucy's death. Her hands went to her face and then back to her sides, her nails digging in to her palms until blood leaked down her fingers. "Three years.. I've counted. Three years I've slept alone in the bed. Three years I've drowned my sorrows I alcohol... Three years with my heart ripped from my chest without you here, Heaven and Earth becoming a living hell to me, leaving me with what options?" Revan wasn't going to lie, she had tried her hand at writing stories like Lucy, but that was the best poetry she could do, even if it was free verse.
Tears were dripping down her cheeks again now, and with the flick of her wrist the TV blinked to life and flicked to the news, where the date would be shown. "Everything I told you... Everything you thought I was crazy over, everything you would joke about... About me being an Angel was not a lie." Revan looked up at her again and then to the floor. "I m-missed you so... s-so much." Revan's legs stopped supporting her then and the pink haired woman fell on the floor, her head tilted down and her face in her hands, sobbing. She knew she shouldn't, but she felt as she did on the day of Lucy's death and funeral. Like all the life had been sucked out of her seeing the person she loved at this fate. But there was a part of Revan that was revived with this, the part of her that she had thought was buried with Lucy... Selfish as it may be to her, Revan was so, so happy Lucy was back.
