Cecil was born to a loving family in South Dakota as the youngest of four. He had an older brother, and then two twin sisters and was always treated as the child among them even when he grew up to be bigger than all of them. His early life was rather uneventful, he had a normal upbringing, he had average grades, and he showed a high interest in Law, primarily eying up becoming a Detective.
When he became old enough in 1995, he studied to become just that. Brilliant with the field, actually, he could deduce things and people rather quickly. His siblings would jokingly call him Sherlock Holmes and all he would do is smirk about it. Things changed however in 1996 when Sherri, one of his older sisters was missing. He was ordered off the case but investigated it anyway. He wouldn't stop until he knew what had happened he KNEW he could find her... and find her he did. He followed his leads to a mans home in the country and what he found there influenced how he is today towards criminals. While digging through the home, he found a shred of Sherri's jacket, as well as a trail of blood leading to the outside. Once following it, expecting the worst, Cecil seized a large knife from the kitchen and headed outside to find the body of his beloved sister jammed in a trash can. Rage filled him. He didn't even report the killing back like he should. He waqited for the man to get home and stabbed him three times in the spine, paralyzing him, and then three more to the... and Cecil was put out of a job for disobeying orders, but not prosecuted for killing the man. Things were rough for awhile, and then he started his own PI business. This is how he met his wife. She followed him from the station after he was fired, a fan of his work, if you will, and a friend of Sherri's. He took a liking to her rather fast and they went in to work together, becoming married soon after and having a daughter. Along the way, he stumbled across a ad about testing for a cure for fatigue. He figured why the hell not and went on to try it. Course he had no Idea what he had just accepted.
When it seemed to have no affect on him, Cecil returned home during the night and then suddenly, when he stepped in to a room, everything became pitch black. He was confused, eyes widened, feeling around in the darkness. And then suddenly the shadows shot away from him and he was able to see... And what he saw, was a ball of darkness in his hand. It scared him at first. He became curious as to what was happening to him. Research was put in to it while he hid his newfound abilities from his wife and baby girl. When nothing turned up, he began wondering if he was even human. And at last, he finally decided he was some sort of super hero. He didn't tell anyone, kept it to himself. A handy little ability for stake outs, add that along with some skills he looked in to such as shooting and melee combat to keep himself safe and he became a rather effective detective.
In 2003 however, everything for him changed and his life he had grown so used to living came crashing down. Things... attacked his apartment. He was unaware at the time, but those things were Demons, attempting to drag him to Deva Hills Asylum by any means necessary. He managed to fend them off with a iron pike from the fireplace, but only barely. One killed his wife, and the other set fire to his home. From there his only goal was saving his dear daughter. No such luck. He was dragged from the fire by firemen who had responded to the scene, and just when he aimed to go in after his dear little girl, his apartment went up in an explosion which brutally burned his face and pats of his upper body. To the hospital he went. And there, he was approached by a man who simply called himself Keeper. Keeper began to explain to Cecil what had happened. What had REALLY happened. What the men were, what the Supernatural was. For a year after that, Keeper began teaching Cecil and a few others he had gathered how to combat the Supernatural. Each of these people were special in a different way, all of them agreed to one thing: they would protect those who couldn't protect themselves. From anything and everything. And in response with that, they bore alias's and masks. True to form super heroes.
The first appearance in the media of Cecil and his group was in 2005, in which a quick picture of Cecil and a fellow member was captured while they were saving a group of students from thugd. They began appearing in media in bad quality photos or cover stories for their exploits against criminals for the years to follow up to 2012, and in 2012, were caught in a bad quality cell phone video in which they were seen fighting a gang. They have become rather infamous with the law enforcement in New Orleans, where they now reside in an abandoned building just outside of the main city. Cecil Arkwright is dead. He has become Cecil. Just Cecil. And he wants to make sure no one ever goes through the pain he has experienced. Justice will come to those who deserve it. Punishment will fall on those who attack the innocent. They are watching and ready to fight.

Experience: Forgot how many years
Other Characters: Revan, Daphne
Revan let everything Lucy was saying hit her at once, and it felt like the feeling the Angel got when she was still powerful, when someone shot her with a shotgun. She felt terrible, like someone had punched her in the gut, or hit her with a baseball bat. She turned around and her hand went over her mouth, feeling like she was going to throw up. It was better that Lucy was dead than deserving this... No one deserved to be a ghost, the sad, sad existence.
Her throat tightened and tears began to well up, trying a hard as she could to keep from breaking down here on the floor.
She turned to Lucy, seemingly three shades paler, her hair not nearly as vibrant as it seemed to be three years ago, her grey eyes dulled to a shade of black. "Lucy... its 2013..." Revan hadn't been keeping track but she had counted three New Years celebrations since Lucy's death. Her hands went to her face and then back to her sides, her nails digging in to her palms until blood leaked down her fingers. "Three years.. I've counted. Three years I've slept alone in the bed. Three years I've drowned my sorrows I alcohol... Three years with my heart ripped from my chest without you here, Heaven and Earth becoming a living hell to me, leaving me with what options?" Revan wasn't going to lie, she had tried her hand at writing stories like Lucy, but that was the best poetry she could do, even if it was free verse.
Tears were dripping down her cheeks again now, and with the flick of her wrist the TV blinked to life and flicked to the news, where the date would be shown. "Everything I told you... Everything you thought I was crazy over, everything you would joke about... About me being an Angel was not a lie." Revan looked up at her again and then to the floor. "I m-missed you so... s-so much." Revan's legs stopped supporting her then and the pink haired woman fell on the floor, her head tilted down and her face in her hands, sobbing. She knew she shouldn't, but she felt as she did on the day of Lucy's death and funeral. Like all the life had been sucked out of her seeing the person she loved at this fate. But there was a part of Revan that was revived with this, the part of her that she had thought was buried with Lucy... Selfish as it may be to her, Revan was so, so happy Lucy was back.
