Personality: Brandon is a quiet man. He spends most of his time by himself and prefers it that way because he gets overwhelmed very easily. He can sit in his room for hours just thinking and reflecting on his day and past. He is an over-thinker and ends up making himself very depressed a lot of times. A lot has happened in his past and he blames himself. He can't help but think that he must try to protect everyone that he cares for. He may not show his affection, but if he cares about you, you are sure to know because he will make sure you are safe under any circumstances.
Even though he spends most of his time by himself, Brandon is very chivalrous and believes that all women should be treated with the utmost respect and care. He thinks that men who mistreat women and children are the lowest source of life there is, and he wouldn't have a problem with making sure they never do it again. He hardly ever becomes violent, but he isn't afraid to become that way if need be. If you respect him, he will respect you.

History: Brandon John Bell was the third born out of his six siblings. He was born to his parents Barnaby and Elinor Bell in 1562. His family wasn't wealthy at all, in fact, they lived on a farm in Warwickshire, England and did not attend schooling. However, the children were taught to read by their mother's friend from the church they attended every Sunday who just so happened to be a school teacher. The Bell family made a living by growing and raising their own food and selling it at the market that was in town. Brandon worked around the farm and in the garden along the side of his brothers and sisters.
One day when Brandon was twelve years old, he and his brother Geoffrey were sent to town to go to the market so they could sell some of their goods and vegetables. They were there for what felt like an eternity and Geoffrey went off to find a drink of water when an old, sick-looking, ragged lady approached Brandon and proposed a deal; He would give her some of the food he did not sell, and in return, she would teach him something that would ensure his personal safety, along with his family's safety if he used it correctly and carefully. This has Brandon very intrigued, so he agreed to meet the lady at her shack, and she told him how to get there..after all, it wasn't too far from the town.
When the day was over, sure enough they had food that was left over. On the way back home, he decided to tell a little white lie to his younger brother so he could visit the old woman from the market. He told him that this lady bought some of their vegetables, but was too old and weak that she could carry them herself and he promised to bring them to her on his way home. Geoffrey believed the lie, and went home. He walked for about a mile before he reached the old woman's rundown shack and when the old lady let him in, she shut the door quickly and began to confess to him that she was a witch and was willing to teach Brandon witchcraft, if he would give her food every day in return. He had been warned his whole life about witches, and believed that they were all of Satan and were all evil and damned to Hell. However, something in him was infatuated with learning about this, and he hesitatingly agreed with the old woman. Every day he would return to her shack to learn.
He did this every single day and safely practiced it himself for a little over 5 years without either of them being caught in the act. Until one fateful day when he went to town as usual, but when he arrived, there was a large crowd around the court house. Curious about who was in trouble now, he made his way through the crowd, and to his dismay, it was his teacher. Although every fiber of his being wanted to help her, he couldn't without being accused of witchcraft himself. All he could do was was try to act normal and walk away, but when he got out of the view of the crowd, he fled to Madam's shack to retrieve the witchcraft books and papers he was learning from. He got there and threw everything into an old potato sack and went home. He would teach himself and practice from now on.
When he turned eighteen, he married a girl named Ellen Clark who had no clue that her husband practiced witchcraft. He was so good at hiding it after he witnessed how easy it was to get caught and executed. Soon after their marriage, Ellen gave birth to Brandon's first child. A son that they named Alexander Bell. He was still just a farmer, but did his best to provide for his family. A few years down the road, they had a couple more kids, a daughter named Lucy and another son who they named Samuel.
Brandon was practicing his magic one night and didn't know it, but his son Alexander was watching. The next day, Alexander decided to brag to his friends in town about how his father could create fire with his hands. Like little children do, they talked and told their parents when they got home. Brandon and his family were peacefully sleeping in their house the night that the town came after him. They barged into his home, snatched his children and wife up, and then bound him before he could even fight against them. As a cruel punishment to Brandon, they executed his whole family at once in front of him when he refused to admit that he was in fact a witch. That's when he decided he was not going to be able to get out of this peacefully. He used his biokinesis and his pyrokinesis to make them stand there while they burned. He freed himself from the stake, went home to gather a few of his belongings, and fled to a different town. He had to start over.
He traveled for a little over a hundred years, not staying in one place for too long out of fear of getting caught again. Which is exactly what happened in one town where he was resting for the night. He didn't do it purposely, but he was spotted using his telekinesis in a tavern whenever this man tried to get into a bar fight with him. He threw him up against the wall whenever he went to block him and they captured him, hastily moving him to the town square to burn him on a post. He was tied up with an iron chain, so he could not defend himself. He was about to face his fate head on until a young woman showed up and used her biokinesis on all of the men who were about to execute Brandon. She got him loose from the chains, and they ran off, leaving the men standing in the middle of the town. When he asked for her name, she introduced herself as Elaina Beckwith and thanked her. She told him that she was a witch too, and they talked about their abilities and she asked him if he could teach her a couple things. He agreed, of course.
Brandon and Elaina became great friends and traveling partners over hundreds of years..traveling through Europe and always had each other's backs. They were always sticking together, and even when one didn't want to go to a certain place the other was going to, they made sure to keep in touch to let each other know they were safe and met up later. He knew Elaina was okay after the Titanic sinking whenever he heard of it, because he used the tracking spell he put on her to make sure. He was so relieved and decided that he was going to go to America too. When he arrived in America, he used his tracking spell to find Elaina and they traveled the states together.
Brandon has been in America since, he fell in love with it and loved moving around in the many different parts of it. His favorite part was creating a new name and a new back story every single time. It was his own kind of therapy. It was almost like all the sad things that happened in his life never really happened. He also liked trying different jobs out, his favorite however was being a florist. It wasn't very masculine, but he didn't mind, because he loves flowers. The smell and the look was almost comforting to him.
