Personality: Takoda is just your average, run of the mill, good ole' country boy. He has manners that can leave a lasting impression and a silver tongue that can get him into equal amounts of trouble as it can something he wants. Being raised in a heavy family-related atmosphere, family means a lot to him. He'd go above and beyond for his family, and that also goes to friends. Anyone who treats him with respect, and like a decent human being, is good enough to earn his love and protection. The life of a farmer's son was hard on him, but had also hardened him up as well. Koda has a relatively thick skin, is relatively fit, and has no problem getting dirty.
Underneath all that grit is the soul of a sweetheart. He's rather introverted, liking to keep to himself and out of the spotlight. He also cares, perhaps too much, and can sometimes be a little stubborn. Either way, he's a good boy with a good heart than he can sometimes put in all the wrong places.

History: Takoda Elias Magneussen was the oldest born of Marlene and Josiah Magneussen, both who came from a simple farm life. They had been praying for ages for a child after years of infertility, and finally a son was delivered to them, a prayer answered. Koda was a good boy growing up, a little rowdy, but what boy wasn't? When he wasn't doing small chores around the farm or in school, he was out in the fields getting dirty, chasing the cows, and picking up toads and garter snakes. He loved to get his hands on anything and learn about it, to observe it.
When he was about five, his little sister Alameda was born. Since the first time he laid eyes on his sister, he became her protector. He loved Meda with all of his heart, and what there for every bad grade, every breakup, every scraped knee from falling down. He even thought her how to ride horses and rope calves. Overall, life was good for Koda. Soon, however, his parents were becoming too old to run the farm by themselves, so they let Takoda take over the charge, with Alameda's help of course. Once he finished high school, he skipped college and went to work straight on the farm.
All his life he was oblivious to the monsters that surrounded him. He didn't believe in vampires or werewolves or anything: just God and his angels, and of course the devil. Even now it would take some convincing to get him to full believe or accept it all.

RP Sample: Heavy hooves pounded against the sodden dirt that could only be found on a small lane littered with the occasional farm. It was a beautiful morning, silent except the hooves, but tranquil and peaceful nonetheless. The air was crisp and fresh with the artificial dew the inhabitants of the dome had grown used to. Things were never natural, not like they used to be many years ago, but it was the closest thing. Many saw the beauty in the rain, snow, sunshine, clouds, everything, and accepted it for what it was. Others craved to fly above it, missing out on the little things. This life, this little ecosystem within a bubble, is all about perspective. It is what one makes it, whether it's enduring the dew and rain, or free and alive like a soul. Takoda enjoyed the beauty in everything around him, fake or real, so that his soul could be freer than it already was.
His soul was never as free as it was than when he was up on his horse. There was no better horse than his painted horse, Augusta. She knew how to act, the right speed, and always lead the farmhand to where he needed to be. Which is why he spends most of his mornings trotting with her around the perimeter of his family's farm. The small lane of farm was shared by only a few families and that allowed him to to worry about any sort of competition. All of the families got along, for the most part, but it was always better to be safe than sorry. His patrolling wasn't because he didn't trust any of the neighboring families, but because he liked to check on his livestock, to be among them, to understand them like no one else could. This morning, Tadoka felt drawn to his heard of cattle and made his way, thundering towards them after trotting around the edges of his property.
Koda was greeted with contented moos and happy bellows as he made his way into the herd. Augusta nickered in greeting and Koda clucked his tongue a few times, causing all of the bovines to happily reciprocate before going back to working their cud. One cow, uncharacteristically, just stood there with her head hung low. Instantly Koda knew that something was wrong, not only because of her body language, but because something just called to him. This particular cow was a few weeks away from calving, and they both knew that, but the cow also knew that something was wrong. She couldn't feel the little life inside of her and it made her greatly distressed. Which, in turn, made him equally distressed. Every life, no matter how small, was valuable and he vowed to himself to serve and protect every one he came in contact with. The painted whinnied and nuzzled her again, while he reached out and patted her head, his soul reaching out to hers. That seemed to work a little bit, but what would really be the best thing was something he couldn't do on his own.
Koda gave Augusta's side a gentle pat as he climbed out of his saddle and onto the ground where his feet made a muted thud. He cautiously moved over to his distressed bovine and looked into her eyes. Nothing seemed wrong there, but he knew he had to call someone that could help her. At least he hoped so. Koda whipped out his phone and dialed the number of the nearby vet. While he waited for someone to answer, he hugged the cow's head and stroked her snout with his free hand. "Don't worry girl, someone'll be out here soon. I'm sure it's nothin'. Your baby might just be sleepin'," he cooed gently, getting only a strained moo in return.
