Abilities
Telekinesis - Ability to move objects with the mind
Intangibility - the ability to “phase” through solid matter by shifting his atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which he is moving. Dalton can phase his clothing along with himself, and through practice has learned to phase other objects and people without harm to them. For all intents and purposes, Dalton is intangible whilst phasing, however he is still vulnerable to certain attacks. Certain forms of energy can also disrupt his phasing.
When Dalton phases through an object with an electrical system, the process disrupts the system's workings. This includes the electrical impulses found in the human brain. He can phase part or all of his body through another living being without harm to himself, though the other being can be rendered unconscious as a result. Dalton also has the potential to kill another being by phasing them into a solid object and then releasing them, causing them to solidify whilst still within the object.
Dalton passes through objects at the same rate of speed at which he is moving before phasing. Since he is unable to breathe while phasing, he can only continuously phase through solid objects. Also, he is able to reflexively assume a phased state at any indication of danger, such as a loud noise like a gunshot, in order to protect himself.

History: Dalton was born in a small town in New Jersey in 1989. His parents were very poor, and knew they couldn't afford to keep him, so he was put up for adoption. They did give him his name, however, and they put theirs on his birth certificate. They did this so that later in life if he ever wanted to find them, he might be able to. He was placed into foster care, where he shared a house with many other foster children waiting to be adopted. It wasn't until he was 6 years old that he was adopted by a couple who was in their 40's. They also had 4 other foster children living in their home, and Dalton hated living there. The house was very strict, and if they didn't do everything exactly right, they would get beaten or punished if they were very bad. And that meant getting locked in the basement for 12 hours in the dark.
It wasn't until one day when Dalton was 8 that things started to change. On this day, Dalton tried to run away from the family. But sadly, they caught him and he got locked in the basement. He was so mad, he wanted to just get out of there.
He walked over to the wall and started beating on it, yelling and screaming to be let out. And then, all of a sudden, his hand went through the wall. He jumped back in terror but then after a few minutes, he walked up to it again. He tried to stick his hand through it but nothing happened. He knew his hand went through that wall, it had to! He took a deep breath and concentrated, he slowly stuck his hand out and it began to move through the wall so it seemed to him, and he was amazed. He continued on with the rest of his body, walking straight through it. He realized while he was walking through the wall that he couldn't breathe while he was walking through, he gasped for air on the other side. He looked around and he was outside! He did it! He had no idea how, but he walked through the wall! He ran around the corner and there he was, his foster father. He tried to run away but he caught him again, asking over and over again, "How in the hell did you get out?"
Over the course of the next few months, Dalton kept practicing his tricks. Getting better and better at moving through things. During this, he also found out he could move things with his mind. One day, the mother was fussing at him from the doorway, yelling at him for something he didn't even do. He got so angry that he slammed the door with his mind over from his bed, it breaking the hinges on it. Dalton thought it was hilarious, but she completely freaked out and called the group home he came from and had him sent back. He was fine with that though, he didn't care about them anyway.
He mostly stuck to himself in the home, with the door incident on his record, he was never adopted again. He lived there until he was 18, exploring every nook and cranny in that house, practicing his powers. He didn't tell anyone about them, he wanted to keep them to himself. Once Dalton was 18, he was kicked out of the home and sent to live on his own, with only some money he had saved up from jobs while he lived in the home. He knew what he wanted to do, he wanted to be a therapist, and help people. He mostly wanted to help kids like himself, kids that were special or that were in bad homes and wanted to get out. He bought an old big Volkswagen van that he could live and travel in. He knew that he would never be able to go to college with the money he had, so for a while, he lived off of stealing. He would sneak into places, using his powers to get money and get past security in banks and stores. After doing this for a couple of years, he realized it was no way to live.
Dalton decided he was going to look for his parents. He found their names on his birth certificate and went searching for them, finding them living about a few hours away from him. Sadly, his father had passed away from heart disease a few years back, but his mother was still alive. She welcomed him with open arms, and his uncle Robert did as well, who was taking care of his mother because he owned a big chain of car dealerships. This really changed his life, his uncle Robert helped Dalton get a car, an apartment, and helped put him through school to be a Psychologist/Therapist. They hated that he went through all the trouble he did earlier in his life, but they were trying to make it up to him now.
Now, 27 years old, Dalton is a licensed Psychologist and Therapist, and he has his own office where he sees many clients daily. He is a little materialistic now though, holding tightly onto his possessions, because of what little he had when he was younger. He works with children a lot, and always makes sure to help if they are in bad foster homes or bad homes period. He also works with other kids who have special powers or abilities, making sure to let them know that they are not alone. He's happy with his life and still uses his powers whenever he wants to, even if its just to have a little fun.
