Matt was born and raised by two loving parents. Throughout his childhood life into his middle teens, He was a normal kid with everyday issues, good or bad. He loved both his parents with all his heart, and would do anything in the world for them.

When Matt was sixteen he and his parents went out on an outing one night. His sister Alyssa had decided to go to a slumber party that night. Everything was going good until van ran into their car causing it to flip over a few times. Tamara was knocked unconscious, and Matt was in a dazed, his vision was a bit blurry, when a stranger come to the car and dragged his dad out. Matt tried to sit up to see what was happening after the stranger had dragged Marcus out to the road. His vision was still blurry when he watched in horror at what it did.

He had clamped his sharp-liked teeth into his fathers neck. Being weak from the accident, he couldn't do anything to save him.

When the stranger stood up, and looked at Matt in the car and grinned evilly at Matt. He was scared and unable to move, but he did get a glimpse of a strange satanic symbol tattooed on his forehead.

Both Tamara and Matt survived the ordeal. For the next two years, Matt was having nightmares over the accident. He was about to feel like he was going crazy, trying to erase what he thought he saw that night in his head. He kept convincing himself that what he saw that night wasn't real, but his dreams were telling him something different. Matt became depressed and withdrawn over time due to his dreams and what happened.


One day, Matt had been out walking around in town, When he heard some kind of odd noise going on in a nearby alley. He had gone to investigate what that noise was, That's when a vampire lunged out and attacked him. He tried fighting him off but it was far to strong suddenly someone from behind the vampire beheaded it making it go down. Matt was beyond freaked and started to back away when the hunter revealed what it was. He was about to run when the hunter stopped him.  He gave him a short run down on things. After the hunter left it took Matt a bit to calm down when he went for some coffee. He realized there that that his dreams were real. After finding that a vampire did kill his dad, Matt had one thing on his mind, revenge.

Because he became a hunter, he had to reconsider going to college, so he can be out on the open road. He lied to Tamara about attending college, because he didn't want to worry her about the things he was doing. Matt had been working on cases, and getting help from other hunters that were more skilled. He also hoped that one day, this would lead him to the vampire that killed his dad.

A year later, Matt came home to visit his mom and take a break from hunting for a bit. One day Matt had gone out for something, while he was gone, A Skinwalker had broken into their home. When Matt came back to the house, he heard Tamara screaming and things breaking in the kitchen. He went into hunter mode instantly. He rushed into the kitchen just as the Skinwalker tried to bite Tamara, Matt pushed it off her not realizing what it was at first until he saw the eyes flaring silver. Matt was freaked but he knew what that was and grabbed a short knife (which happened to be made of silver). That's when the fight broken out. After a bit of struggle Matt manage to stab the skinwalker in the chest killing it.

He checked over his mom making sure that she was alright. A neighbor heard screaming from the house and called the police. When they arrived at the scene, Matt explained about the break in, no charges we filed because it was a self defense.


After the incident, Matt broke down later that day and told her everything. He told her that he never went to College, because he became a hunter. Then revealed that Marcus was killed by a vampire, that he remembered seeing it that night and what it did to his dad. Tamara had a hard time adjusting to the news, and this lead to a lot of yelling and tears. They soon made up after the confession and she finally lets him do the cases, even though she hated it.


For the next year, Tamara helped with research, while Matt went on his cases. One night a huge argument broke out between her and Matt, when he told her he found a lead to the vampire that killed his dad. He ran out of the house after the fight and was never seen again by Tamara. She would spend the next several months wondering if he was dead or alive.


Over the next several months Matt has been on several cases, hunting whatever he could, trying to find a new lead to the vampire that killed Marcus.

RP Sample:

Matt had been sitting in a hotel outside of Peoria, Illinois after another long case he had managed. He stood up and got a bottle of beer from the small fridge. He walks over to the window, looking out, seeing the parking lot and nothing in sight. Matt pulls out his cell phone, going down the list of his contacts, he stops at Tamara's.

He stares at her number for a long time before putting the phone back into his pocket. He closes his eyes and hated not able to talk to her, but he couldn't, not after what he had done. Matt wouldn't be able to face her right now.


He goes into the bathroom, splashing water onto his face and looks into the mirror. He hated looking at himself sometimes. The dark secret he had within him in the last few months took a toll on the young man.

Matt knew he had a temper but, he never figured he'd go as far as he went. He had to keep moving. One Rule in hunting, you never stay in the same place for so long. For Matt it is another issue to why he was on the run.

Matt went to pack his belongings into his bag, and then left the room. He gotten into his car and pulls out of the lot. Just then his phone rang, he answers it, speaking "Hey, Jacob, yeah I just checked out. I don't know where I'm gonna go next man. Alright, I'll catch you later."

Matt hung up the phone. putting it back into his pocket, and continues to drive down the dark highway into the night. Wondering what the next stop will be..Wondering what would happen next.
