Full Name: Aimee Aswang Nickname/Alias: Aswang, Manananggal Age/Date Of Birth: Ancient Race: Filipino Vampire Occupation: Pimp/Brothel Madame, Good Samaritan, Creature Alpha Species Group: Creature/Filipino Vampire Play-By: Leslie Ann Huff
Immortality: Like all Vampires, the Filipino Vampire does not age
Invulnerability: This kind of vampires skin is thick and leathery, able to take significant damage from normal weapons.
Supernatural Senses: The Filipino vampire possesses sharp senses and especially good night vision
Supernatural Strength: They have the strength to lift grown men up off the ground whilst in flight with ease.
Flight: Through assuming their creature form and rooting their lower body to the ground, the Filipino Vampire can produce large bat-like wings from it’s shoulders and fly through the air.
Claws: When assuming their monster form, Filipino Vampires have long, curved talons protruding from their fingertips. They can also summon these in their human form.
Sound Displacement: The closer a Filipino Vampire is, the farther away its screeches and beating of its wings sound so to lure its victims into a sense of false security.
Body Detachment: This type of vampire can detach their upper body from their lower body by rooting itself into the ground. and is required for their shapeshifting abilities.
Shapeshifting: By rooting their lower body into the ground and detaching their upper half, the Filipino Vampire can assume a bat-like form with wings and a long, hollow tongue to drain their victims.
Siring: Filipino Vampires are strictly women, and when they sleep with men they have a chance of infecting them with a dormant strain of a vampiric STD that will infect the next woman they have intercourse with.
Alpha Telepathic Link: Aimee is telepathically linked to all of her progeny, as few as there may be.
Alpha Ability: "Throw Voice" - Aimee is able to mimic the voices of people she has heard and, using the unique sound displacement ability of her species, throw the sound of her voice elsewhere, in order to lure people. She can also do this with her normal voice at any given time.
Garlic: True to the typical vampire lore, Garlic can repel a Filipino vampire and by using it, could even block out their senses, so they can’t track a victim well. Garlic also burns them on contact.
Ashes: Unlike other Filipino Vampires, using the ashes of her victims only serves as a way to deter Aimee, burning her skin on contact, or causing her throat to seal up and cause an allergic reaction.
Sunlight: Sunlight does not kill her in her true for, but it causes a massive amount of pain.
In order to kill Aimee, one has to create a potion using the ashes of one of her 6 Tyanak children - be it the single living one, or one of the deceased - whose bodies have been hidden and scattered by Aimee's sirelings she only has one left alive, and she keeps it secure with another trusted vampire who cares for it in her stead, unable to shake that maternal bond to the small demonic creature that escaped her womb. The ashes must be properly mixed in with a potion of garlic and be ingested by her at the break of dawn. This significant weakening of her abilities will cause Aimee to explode into ashes and fire as the sunlight hits her.

Aimee is a protective caretaker by nature. She latches on to the helpless and wants to defend them how she can, it wasn't always this way, but recent developments the past few centuries have changed her outlook on life. She does her best to avoid meaningless slaughter - she never kills the people she feeds off of, unless it's someone who deserved it in helping another person - like one of her girls, for example. Meaningless bloodshed has long since lost its appeal to Aimee, and she's able to keep her natural bloodlust in check, usually - it often only ever surfaces when she is acting in the protection of another.
She's also still exceptionally sexually active, but due to the fact that she might potentially accidentally infect a woman who wasn't expecting it to happen if she is with a man - she is an advocate of practicing safe sex, or she'll simply favor other women - depends on her mood, but she no longer intends on expanding her races gene pool if she can help it. She has seen what they are capable of, and it's not something she wants to be a part of. She doesn't want to take over the world, she doesn't want to wipe out any other vampires or creatures. Hell, she doesn't even harbor ill will towards hunters any longer. Immortality leads to too much of a long life to let it be full of hate - so she does her best to avoid these things, and give people second chances unless what they did was truly disgusting or reprehensible.
Finally, Aimee is a very mentally tough person. She tends to see the bad in people due to her ability to read into the sort of person they are, and some of the things she has seen in them, and some of the things she has done herself, has left her jaded and tough mentally - holding herself together in stressful situations and when things seem hopeless, while offering support to shoe she cares enough about to do so.

Parents: Unknown, unimportant Siblings: Unknown, unimportant Other Family: Her 6 Tyanak's are what she considers her children - 5 of them have died since her inception, only one remains in a safe location. Important Others: Bruha, Eve, Dracula, Kyle, Other Vampire Alpha's, Camren Gardner History:
Aimee was born in the Philipines - where exactly, she isn't sure any longer, but her family lived a secluded life in the mountains centuries ago in a small community of hunter-gatherers. Aimee was one of the few women in the community - but she was often regarded as the most beautiful and attractive of the lot - all while being incredibly vain. The other women were jealous, but Aimee wasn't bothered in the slightest. Due to the variety of men that she had at her beck and call - Aimee wasn't exactly monogamous. She had many lovers, and one of those lovers - a more long term affair - was a hunter who was the lover of a nearby witch, named Bruha. Aimee and the hunter had a passionate love affair for over three years - up until Aimee ended up pregnant, and the hunter claimed it as his own.
Bruha was furious when the news reached her, and almost right away, she cursed Aimee and her children. She cast a vile spell on her and the unborn child that made her repulsive. Her skin became thick, leathery. Her eyes turned white, her hair fell away. She was monsterous - and the man she once thought her lover abandoned her almost instantly. Bruha, however, wasn't finished. After convincing the community that she had nothing to do with Aswang's strange mutations, and that she was simply a monster, she got the men of the group to chase her out with intents to kill her.
Aswang fled into the night in fear, with hunters in tow, and that's when the miscarriages began. Induced by Bruha's spells, she ended up collapsing in pain and calling out into the night. Begging, pleading for any sort of help to come to her. And help did come.
A woman appeared, and spoke to Aswang, who begged and pleaded. And Eve answered, changing Aswang forever. Her already hideous form morphed and changed. Her jaw unhinged itself as massive fangs grew, her eyes turned white, her body ripped itself asunder and, in a moment of feral rage when she pulled her body away from her lower half and 6 strange, small creatures fell from her exposed internals, Aswang destroyed all of the hunters but one in a single, fell swoop. Eve restored her human form - only... it wasn't her true form anymore, as she would go on to explain. No, the creature was Aswang'a true face now. The flying torso, it's dangling intestines and hollow eyes. She was a creature - a Vampire, to be specific. A new kind. The first Filipino Vampire.
Aswang returned to her home with her six children and killed Bruha in secret before sharing one last, unexpected night with her former lover - under Eve's instruction. Soon after, she was told to watch. And quite the show followed. In the weeks after, as Aswang watched the community she once called home, the women began to change into the same creature she was. The same monstrous abomination - all with single, demonic children. Once a good number of them had changed, Aswang made her move, gathering them all up and forcing each of them to kill any remaining humans.
It was a hell of a feast.
The other women, now vampires, were reluctant at first... But they listened to force. Aswang willingly killed a number of them to prove a point to the rest - fully embracing the monstorous instincts that had been forced on her, she and the other Vampires spread across the Philippines. It was from this spree of chaos and murder that the Filipino stories of the Aswang - named after the lady in charge herself, the Mananangal and the Tiyanak came from. The creatures of the night that made the world a horrible place for those in the Philippines.
Eventually, a few centuries later, when humans were less restricted to their land masses, Hunters made attempts to kill off Aswang - and failed repeatedly. The Filipino Vampires were fewer in number than other types, but they had rooted themselves so deeply in the Philippines to become a powerhouse most people wouldn't dream of trying to touch, with Aswang at the head of all of it. It was this powerful support base that drew the attention of the forming Vampire Council in Europe, under Ambrogio - the European Vampire Alpha alongside the Romanian, Asian, and Scottish. With the combined might of 5 Vampire Alpha's, it was hard for Hunters to so much as dream of getting to any of them, while they slowly began to work to take over their countries of origin and expand their power base.
Of course, conflicts arose. One in particular being Ambrogio wiping out the Asian Vampires - which were one of Aimee's largest support bases at the time due to having their Alpha in her pocket. It damaged her operations heavily, and caused a lot of tension between the Romanians and the Filipino's over how things should be handled. Aswang believed wiping out the entire species was unneeded, whereas the Romanians were loyalists to the European bloodline until the end, and the Scottish alpha seemed to remain widely uninvolved in the entire situation.
Eventually, Ambrogio vanished and Dracula - the Romanian Vampire - began pushing to take charge of the fractures Council. Unamused by his attempts, Aswang and the Scottish Alpha quickly turned on Dracula and left him mummified in a casket, buried deep under the floor of a remote castle. She left him with a kiss and a simple promise: To wipe the Romanian Vampires out.
It was a bloody, but short war. Without their alpha to guide them, the Romanians became confused and disorganized - the perfect chance for the Filipino Vampires to pounce on their Romanian Cousins. After this - Aimee intended on keeping to the path of building her influence. However, when she returned to the Philippines - a rather traumatizing scene greeted her. When she arrived in her remote home, which was cared for by one of her more trusted sirelings, she discovered that her assistant had failed to protect her Tiyanak's from local hunters.
In a rage, Aimee killed the other vampire and took the three remaining of her children and moved elsewhere. The Hunters followed, however, and Aimee's overprotective nature of her creature spawn wasn't enough to save them from their wrath. Aimee returned again to find another home in shambles, with the last of her Tiyanak's hiding under a tarp. It was a disgusting little creature, a monster by all accounts - but her Tiyanak's had never been anything but loving to her - their mother. And Aimee couldn't simply leave it behind. So, she took it once more and handed the child off to another, trusted group of Filipino Vampires to care for the Tiyanak for as long as they were able, never staying in one place, and giving Aimee constant updates.
Following those events, Aimee had completely lost interest in trying to expand her powerbase and instead went on to travel the world. She no longer had interest in expanding her species any longer, and the travel only solidified this when she witnessed what many of her progeny were doing. Senseless slaughter - something she had now lost her appetite for - rapid expansion... as quick as they could, at least. Aimee didn't want anything to do with it anymore, so she eventually went to the one place where her progeny hadn't expanded to yet: America.
Aimee drifted through many jobs in the new country of opportunity during her decades there. A baker, a farmer, a map maker, a singer, running a brothel, she even found herself falling in love with a soldier who had been injured during the revolutionary war. He had lost his wife, he was injured, and had two children who absolutely adored Aimee. She trusted him with everything, more than happy to do so. The soldier - Callum - wasn't as devoted to Aimee as she was to him, however. And how did she know that?
When other Filipino Vampires began appearing, particularly in the brothel. Infuriated, she was forced to try and contain these new sirelings before they got too out of hand - and it ended with her murdering them, and then Callum. Unfortunate enough for her, however, his children walked in shortly thereafter. They saw her, the woman they saw as a mother, in her true form. Her mutilated features, her empty, red eyes and large wings. They were terrified.
Aimee wasted no time in fleeing from the scene, distancing herself from human contact for a long time, eventually emerging again in any noteworthy fashion in New York during the 60s, where she started up a brothel of her own. She soon discovered that this job - being a madame - was something she was good at. She would defend her girls with her abilities. If a man got rough, he would be visited in the night by something much worse than an angry street worker with a gun, and be found a week later in the river, or torn to pieces in his bed. She changed locations a few times every few years until she eventually settled in New York, finding the city particularly easy to fly under the radar in, working with her girls to keep them safe, taking a minor cut from their income to keep the brothel itself running and to supply the girls with protection. In the 90s in particular, Aimee developed a reputation for not being messed with, and it carried on into the 2000s and 2010s.
People who messed with her girls tended to go missing, only to be found in brutal states elsewhere. This was known in New York - but when a girl came from Vegas and told her the story of a gang of bikers and their disgusting deeds. So Aimee didn't waste any time - she reached out into contacts to find that the gang was returning to New York, hot on the tail the woman who had come to Aimee for protection - one Carmen Gardner. Aimee didn't even let them reach the city.
The gang was found in a rest stop parking lot. All of the cameras were shredded, their bikes were burned, and they looked as if they had been attacked by a wild animal. With no one able to place what happened - and no leads - Aimee returned to the city and assured Carmen that the men that tormented her would no longer be a problem. She also let the woman know that she owed her - and she went on to work for Aimee for a time. Aimee didn't force her to stay when she left later - there was no point.
She'd continued her work in New York until, after indulging in a little company herself, woke up in Zeppelin City. She's spent about a year in the city. It's a mess, but it could be much worse. She'd begun considering getting involved with the town more and trying to help with the various issues there - but she isn't sure how to go about that quite yet without being noticed.

Revan let everything Lucy was saying hit her at once, and it felt like the feeling the Angel got when she was still powerful, when someone shot her with a shotgun. She felt terrible, like someone had punched her in the gut, or hit her with a baseball bat. She turned around and her hand went over her mouth, feeling like she was going to throw up. It was better that Lucy was dead than deserving this... No one deserved to be a ghost, the sad, sad existence.
Her throat tightened and tears began to well up, trying a hard as she could to keep from breaking down here on the floor.
She turned to Lucy, seemingly three shades paler, her hair not nearly as vibrant as it seemed to be three years ago, her grey eyes dulled to a shade of black. "Lucy... its 2013..." Revan hadn't been keeping track but she had counted three New Years celebrations since Lucy's death. Her hands went to her face and then back to her sides, her nails digging in to her palms until blood leaked down her fingers. "Three years.. I've counted. Three years I've slept alone in the bed. Three years I've drowned my sorrows I alcohol... Three years with my heart ripped from my chest without you here, Heaven and Earth becoming a living hell to me, leaving me with what options?" Revan wasn't going to lie, she had tried her hand at writing stories like Lucy, but that was the best poetry she could do, even if it was free verse.
Tears were dripping down her cheeks again now, and with the flick of her wrist the TV blinked to life and flicked to the news, where the date would be shown. "Everything I told you... Everything you thought I was crazy over, everything you would joke about... About me being an Angel was not a lie." Revan looked up at her again and then to the floor. "I m-missed you so... s-so much." Revan's legs stopped supporting her then and the pink haired woman fell on the floor, her head tilted down and her face in her hands, sobbing. She knew she shouldn't, but she felt as she did on the day of Lucy's death and funeral. Like all the life had been sucked out of her seeing the person she loved at this fate. But there was a part of Revan that was revived with this, the part of her that she had thought was buried with Lucy... Selfish as it may be to her, Revan was so, so happy Lucy was back.
