This thread is a run down of information tied to the important Origins plot. This will help members know exactly what has happened and what their character would have had dealt with. Characters listed here from Origins is also able to be taken, many if not almost all have Play-Bys that were determined but may be subject to change upon request.
The strange queen who suddenly took over the castle and made it anew has cast a spell that took not only her, but many others back in time. What was going on? What is the deep past that the Zeppelin area has hidden for so many years. Why were these people sent back? These are all questions that have to be learned in character.
Morgan's Post: *The glowing continues, getting brighter and brighter but... It wasn't just Daisy. Beth, Dean, Sam, Tyson, Nolan, Alessandra, Lyle, Angie, Roni, Micah, Aria, Luke, Drake, Blaire, Miyu, Tamara, Tina, Merrick, Zero, Revan, Alyssa, Jake, Aiden, Austin, Chris, Kennedy, Zane, Eligos, Gabriella, and Morgan (Gabriella's sister) all began to suddenly glow too... What the hell was happening? And just like that, all of them suddenly vanished in a blink of an eye, wherever they were at....*
The Run Down
After appearing in a foreign land, the citizens of Zeppelin City found themselves with more questions than answers. Many were sent on their own personal journeys of discovery and growth. To the shock of them all, they learned that the area was known as Camelot. King Arthur once ruled the castle and a village that surrounded it’s walls that no longer existed in their time. The Town was full of many people who vanished from different periods of time while traveling through what was known as the Bermuda Triangle within the Northern Atlantic Ocean. The Canyon was full of many different native tribes that had mysteriously vanished throughout time.
Perhaps the strangest discovery was that of the Main House; that the citizens of Zeppelin had become so accustomed to. It was once built long ago in the 1600’s as a safe haven for witches. It stood in New York, where many people accused of witchcraft would escape to when the Salem witch trials were running amuck. The home was constructed by Philip and Mary English, two wealthy residents from Salem who escaped to New York on carriage. The house stood tall throughout the years, being a safe haven for witches for a long time before eventually becoming a school for the witches that ran to it to seek shelter.
The house, or school, was rebuilt and refurbished many times; all the way to the modern times. It was in the 2000’s that the school found itself transferred back into time and in a whole other area that was being called Camelot. There was a King from the medieval times, along with indian settlers, and a town full of more people. The witches chose to keep to themselves. The Head of the school, Mordred, was a strong and powerful witch that didn’t like nor trust the King of Camelot. It was for this reason that the kitchen was magical, and that it had unlimited rooms.
The group found themselves thrown into the problems of the Kingdom and other communities surrounding it. It was when Dean and King Arthur shook hands that they began to glow upon where their skin met. A shockwave shot off of the men, and caused the Kingdom and Zeppelin Citizens to both react in amazement and concern. Upon further research by Merlin; he was completely fascinated. There happened to be a reason why these people were sent back. They all had one thing in common; they were reincarnations of those within Camelot.
Not only were they all reincarnations of these people, but they found out that the King and Knights of the Roundtable wasn’t the only stories around… Apparently, Fairytales were born in Camelot. They weren’t exactly as the stories painted them, but incredibly similar. Not only that but many of Zeppelin’s citizens were the reincarnations of these famous characters.
As time would tell; it was apparent that the reincarnations held a special bond with their counterparts. They understood each other and though they were not the same person, and different in many ways they were also the same in others. It wasn’t all good, because unexpectedly two souls merged into one when one killed another.
Individual Character's Journey Summary
Dean - King Arthur Dean worked closely with King Arthur during their time in Camelot, becoming friends. Once the quest to the Valley was completed, the two of them shook hands and solidified an alliance, only for a strange light to form and a pulse of energy to come from their palms. Merlin, curious, looked into this and realized that their souls were linked - Dean was a resurrection of King Arthur. This led to him looking into the other members of the Zeppelin party. Dean became a trusted friend of Arthur, and was present when he fell down the well and died, attempting to go down to save him, only for him to be pulled back by Beth and as Azazel came at them they both vanished, returning to their time.
Sam - Lancelot & Queen Guinevere Sam and Lancelot met some time after Arthur and Dean discovered their connection and worked alongside their close friends to determine the cause of why they had been taken to Camelot, discovering their connection along the way. Lancelot’s affair with the Queen was eventually brought to light, and Arthur, in a fit of anger, nearly killed his close friend - but decided, instead, to exile him and Guinevere from the Kingdom. Their fates are presently unknown, but it is unlikely that either of them has survived.
Eligos - Palamedes Eligos was brought back to his human origins - formerly the Knight of the Round Table, Sir. Palamedes. He relived his final days of life from an outside perspective and watched his human self make a deal in order to save his wife after she died. Palamedes eventually died during Azazel’s attack on Camelot, and Eligos took his ring before they were pulled back to the present.
Chris - Lamorak Sir. Lamorak was often regarded as the best fighter in Camelot and attained his Knighthood when he displayed almost unnatural strength, defeating 30 attacking vampires on his own with a fiery temper and brutal combat. He was not the person to get on the bad side of, but he was also fiercely protective of his brothers and sisters in arms and the kingdom he so proudly called home.
Chris Anderson befriended the Knights of the Round Table early, and found himself interacting with them quite a lot, it was through this interaction that Chris and Lamorak discovered they shared the same connection as Arthur and Dean. The two Phoenixes worked together very well for their time in Camelot, an Lamorak was personally responsible of keeping the Zeppelin party safe while the spell to return them to the present was conducted. He and a number of the other knights held the line for as long as they could, but in the end, before he was taken by an overwhelming force of Demons, Lamorak gave Chris his special ring and told him to not allow it to fall into the wrong hands, before being swept away in a cloud of black smoke. He has not been seen since; being taken by the demons to undergo torture for the countless years to come.
Roni - Galahad When Roni was brought to the safety of Camelot alongside Tina Dukes and their savior, Sir. Galahad, they arrived after the quest party had returned from the Valley and the connections between the Zeppelin individuals and many Camelot residents were being investigated. Roni went to speak to Galahad at a dinner one night, while meeting Galahad’s wife, and reached out to pat the woman’s shoulder, only for that same light to appear, revealing Roni to be a resurrection of Galahad - who revealed her true name… was Mulan, a young woman who had posed as a man to be taken more seriously in the Kings army, only to work her way up to the level of a Knight, and got the Holy Grail. Her wife, Shang, was murdered by the pirate shortly before Azazel swept in to wipe out the Kingdom, and she returned from trying to kill Captain Hook to find a massive war had taken her home. Without even getting to interact with the main group, she moved to protect King Arthur and get him to the escape tunnel at the bottom of a well, only for the King to fall down it. Galahad went to retrieve the King with two other Knights, but she was stuck in the well. Eventually, Galahad became a Wendigo, and was later killed by the Grant siblings and Aura Sapphire.
Alessandra - Bedivere & Lyle - The Woodsman The kind red-headed, ax wielding knight who worked alongside the group from Zeppelin was revealed to be Little Red Riding Hood during the quest to the Valley, and exactly how skilled of a hunter she was in how skillfully she went on to dispatch creatures in the groups way. They returned to Camelot, and during a small celebration some days after the reveal of King Arthur and Dean’s connection, Alessandra and Lyle met her husband - the Woodsman named “Kallum”, who in his own goofy show of friendship pulled Lyle and Alessandra into a hug. While doing this, the four of them made another massive shockwave that terrified the village. It had to be tested by Merlin who was connected to who, but it was revealed that Alessandra was Bedivere’s resurrection, and Lyle had a connection to the Woodsman. During Azazel’s attack, Kallum was murdered early by Azazel, being set aflame while saving Angie’s life, and Bedievere was impaled by a demon while working with Lamorak to protect the main group. Her last action was in the defense of their newfound friends from the future, where she knocked an oil lantern free onto a casket of alcohol and shoved it into a crowd of demons before she herself bled out. Her special ring was never recovered.
Zane- Bors Bors was known among the Knights of the Round Table of being fearless and exceptionally kind. He never flinched in the face of overwhelming odds or injustice, and he never turned his back on someone in need. Though not much was known about him, it was believed he was attempting to atone for a horrible past.
Zane spent much of his time in the past lost in the area, before he was eventually found by the tribes in the valley, with help from Sir. Bors, and brought him back to the safety of the Kingdom. Bors and Zane became good friends, and later discovered they shared their own special bond - Bors being the reincarnation of Zane’s human soul. Bors unfortunately followed Arthur down the well and later became a Wendigo.
Kennedy - Kay Sir. Kay was originally a genius blacksmith for Camelot, emerging from the tribe in the valley - creating weapons and armor of the highest caliber for the knights to use. It was her skill, intellect and creativity that eventually made Arthur decide to bring her into the fold so that she could serve him on the Round Table directly, and use her impressive creations to benefit Camelot as a whole. While only a rumor at the time, it was believed she crafted an early firearm with Merlin’s help.
Kay and Kennedy eventually bonded over their engineering prowess, giving one another pointers. Kay took Kennedy being her resurrection as something of a challenge to try to prove that she was the ‘more clever’ version of the pair in churning out a number of odd inventions, but none of them would help what would end up befalling the Kingdom. Kay was the one to discover Azazel had gone to wipe out the tribes in the valley, including the one she had come from. She was killed by being thrown from the castle wall by a demon.
Aren - Percival The Alpha Spinx that was encountered in Purgatory was revealed to have once been one of Arthur’s Knights, and his personal Sphinx. He got along well with the group, but mostly kept to himself and Arthur. He was the one to find Revan and Tyson and bring them to safety. Aren was among the few survivors of Camelot, but he felt Arthur’s death the moment it happened and killed himself for his failure to protect his charge. He has been in Purgatory ever since.
Austin - Gawain Sara Worley’s brother went on to discover that his own reincarnation was Sara’s brother as well. Austin and Gawain shared many values and worked closely together in their best attempts to keep Camelot safe. Gawain was among the Knights to try to save Arthur after he fell down the Well, becoming a Wendigo.
Sara Worley’s brother, Gawain was knighted after saving a number of the Kingdom’s residents, despite being a member of the town, and being one of King Arthur’s closest friends. Acting selflessly in the defense of the entire area, not simply the town, or the house, or the kingdom - Gawain was seen as a bonafide hero. He became known as the Maiden’s Knight among his comrades due to a tendency to save plenty of “Damsels in Distress”, becoming something of a running joke for the Round Table. Gawain was also given a gift by Merlin following him having done an exceptional job slaying a dragon that had been plaguing the town, where Merlin tied Gawain’s strength to the sun. At night, he would be as strong as a normal man - but as the sun moved through the sky, he would become stronger and stronger - reaching his peak at high noon, where he was easily considered to be among the physically strongest beings in Camelot.
Zero - Gareth It was revealed that Zero had visited this time before once already, under the name of Jack - going on to give birth to Jack and the Giant Beanstalk through becoming known throughout the land as a Giant Slayer. He was the lover to Morgan Le Faye, and the adoptive father to Ann. Eventually he vanished, leaving everyone confused as to where he went, Zero remained distant for much of the events, only coming into play when Camelot was attacked, and being pulled back with the group.
Aiden - Tristan Known as the best Marksman in all of Camelot and one of the Kingdom’s best dragon slayers. Sir. Tristan bore a special mark - and curse - called the Mark of the Dragonslayer. This mark granted him protection from dragon’s breath, use the ability Dragons have to heat their hands up to fight with, and gave him the ability to force his will onto dragons to allow him to control them. This mark also caused him great pain to use, but made him the Kingdom’s strongest weapons against the dragons that very often threatened their people, allowing him to kill them so long as he wears the mark and grabs the dragon’s heart.
Sir. Tristan the Dragonslayer, an intense man, found a friendship in Aiden Watson. It was an odd pairing, but it soon made sense when their special connection was discovered. Tristan taught Aiden quite a bit about Camelot, its history, and how to fight with medieval weapons - even trusting him with a dragon-killing sword. When the final attack came, Tristan was one of the final defenders of the group but suffered a stab wound to his abdomen. As he died, Aiden stayed by his side, holding his hand tightly so he would feel some kind of companionship and comfort in his last moment. It was during this that Tristan bid his newfound friend goodbye with a parting gift, bestowing a magical blessing that Merlin had given him known as the Mark of the Dragonslayer, which allowed Aiden to a number of new abilities he is still coming to learn without Tristan there to guide him.
Sir. Geraint Sir Geraint is the only Knight that did not have a resurrection. He was killed by one of the Faceless Creatures during the final days of Camelot, and his ring fell into the possession of Wayden the Slayer.
Gabriella - Gaheris Gaheris was once a simple village woman until the loss of her lover, to cope with her mourning she took to training with the likes of Kay, Bors and Bedivere and became a fine warrior. She has a very wide skill set and is very at peace with the world, and her loss. She carries a number of different weapons to battle and alternates between them with masterful ease.
Gabriella proved her metal in the quest to the valley, and it caught the attention of Sir. Gaheris after learning of the loss of Luca back in their present day. Gaheris told her of her own loss, and the two became close. Gaheris trained Gabriella personally in combat, and it was through that training that they discovered their own connection and why they understood one another so well. Gaheris also lost her fiance, he was a werewolf and was killed. Gaheris eventually gifted Gabriella her favored dagger as a mark of their friendship. The knight would then go on to die while trying to stand up to Azazel in the town square, to buy time for the spell to be completed.
Beth - Snow White/Sara Worley A young woman from the town who fell in love with a king, only for a spell to be put on her to force her into a coma by Morgan after losing both Ann and Zero in a fit of jealous rage. Arthur managed to wake her up with true loves kiss, Beth happening to be present, helped Sara up out of bed and learned of their connection. Sara was taken to Camelot with Arthur, and was seemingly going to be crowned the new Queen, but life had other plans when Azazel attacked, and Sara was killed in front of Arthur and Dean.
Tyson & Angie - The Huntsman and Belle The Huntsman, also known as The Beast, was one of Morgan’s darker projects. While still a protector of Camelot, he was tainted by demon blood and accustomed to violence on command. Belle, a servant to Morgan, had fallen in love with this Beast. The connections were discovered by accident, much later into the time in Camelot. Belle died trying to protect the Huntsman and Angie from Azazel while and Angie was forced to run. The Yellow Eyed took the tainted man for his own uses with promises of demon blood. He had plenty of ideas in mind for the potential application of that kind of power - and he’d see it put to use much down the line.
Peter Pan, John & Wendy - Micah, Aria and Luke Micah, Aria, and Luke appeared on the island out in the ocean of the area, under the care of a group of a young woman named Wendy. The three of them never reached any other areas until much later, when Peter decided that he was curious enough about where the strangers came from to pester Merlin about it. The trio eventually decided to stay in Camelot and help out for a bit, where they discovered their connections to Micah, Aria and Luke. Peter and John were killed while trying to save Wendy, only for Wendy to be killed by Hellhounds.
Drake - Captain Hook The dreaded leader of the Pirates who lingered just off of Camelots shores, Captain Hook, was well hated among the residents of the area for their raiding of the shores. Following the death of Shang, Mulan recruited the help of Drake and Sinker to end the threat of Hook once and for all, with a special weapon that Merlin engineered for just the occasion to finally end the immortal pirates life. Drake was the one who struck the final blow, and in a strange turn of events it was revealed Hook and he shared a connection, and the two merged together suddenly. Mulan and Sinker carried Drake back to Camelot in a comatose state, and managed to get him safely back to his group and out of the area, back to his own time.
Revan - “Ann” When Revan was brought from the desert by Aren, she joined up with the group of troublemakers that Ann ran with, including Blaire and Daisy, and dropped her name and that caused Ann to pause - and admit that her name was, in fact, Revan. Confused, the group went to Morgan and Merlin to ask what was happening, but the answers were uncertain. Regardless of what this meant, Revan got to learn that she had, at some point, been human - Morgan having merged her soul with an Angels grace when she was dying in order to save her life. She got to learn of her birthday, and who she used to be, all while intermixing with a group of her old friends. Eventually, however, Angels arrived in Camelot, having tracked Ann down. They took the young woman by force, despite Revan and even a number of Knights coming to try to help her, to no luck. Ann was taken, leaving Revan with many questions. She took an old jacket of Ann that felt ‘familiar’ and struck out into the woods to think, where she met Morgan - the one from the present, who learned of who Revan was. A strange bond was formed between the two, and Revan stayed at her side for the remainder of their time in Camelot, eventually returning to their own time - Revan appeared in the castle with Morgan… and many questions.
Blaire - Alice Blaire falling in with Ann’s crew didn’t seem to be coincidence. After learning the truth of Ann’s identity, Alice and Blaire both found themselves stressed out and confused, and decided to take the edge off of the situation with a new drug that Alice had created, in small blue and red bottles labeled “Drink Me.” The two drank the magical potions and found themselves in a strange, warping world where they saw hundreds of versions of themselves, and then went to speak to the Mad Hatter. This strange world had no normal sense of time or space, and it felt like they had been there for a long time, but the Hatter, seemingly some sort of magical entity, revealed their special connection to the two of them, Blaire was Alice’s reincarnation. When the two of them came out of their drug induced stupor, it was days later, after Ann had been taken. Alice was laying next to Blaire, the magical drug having killed her during the magical trip. Blaire retrieved the recipe of the Wonderland Drug from Alice’s bag and ran off, she was safelty returned to her own time.
Tamara - The Librarian Two Bookworms met, and they got along very, very well. The Librarian, the shy Prophet that wrote all of the fairy tales from within the town, eventually met Tamara and the two worked together in the library in the Town, learned of their special connection, and it was even made a note of that Tamara might even be a potential prophet herself. The Librarian would go on to be the only true survivor of Camelot, while Tamara was returned to her own time, with a lot more stories to tell, and a number of the Librarian’s notes.
Daisy & Tina - Aladdin & Jasmine Aladdin, or “Al” as she was better known, was a thief just trying to provide for her timid and shy sister, and a friend of Ann and Alice. Daisy eventually found Tina, and the sisters stuck side by side, eventually falling in with Aladdin, Alice, Ann, Revan and Blaire in causing trouble. Aladdin and Jasmine even grew so close to the sisters after learning of their connections to them to show the genie lamp they had retrieved from a cursed cave in the area for a demon, but decided to keep. They started using the wishes, ending up only having one left. Jasmine came down ill, and Aladdin, frantic to find some kind of solution before her sister passed away, made one last wish with the Genie - to save her sister. The wish was granted, but Aladdin was sucked into the Genie lamp, and the former Genie escaped. Jasmine was healed, but she spent the rest of her days trying desperately to free her sister without falling to the same fate. Jasmine was killed by Azazel when he attacked the school, while she was going there to try to get help.
Nolan - Merlin Nolan met Merlin by chance, but the two worked so well together in determining the sources of the connections between the people that it must have been fate. Nolan proved to be the perfect assistant for Merlin, and that was probably because he was Merlin’s reincarnation. It was the two of them that discovered the spell to send the Zeppelin group back to their own time, and while Merlin could have gone himself, he decided instead to try to help his friends - pushing Nolan to leave while he went to help with the desperate last stand of Camelot. Merlin did not survive the siege of the castle, but he put up a hell of a fight alongside his comrades.
Merrick - Sleeping Beauty Merrick befriended a girl named Aurora in the area, a medium who only wanted to help the people in the town. The two became close friends and discovered their connection, but sadly Merrick was cursed by a Mokoi and put into a deep sleep similar to the spell that Sara Worley had been put under. However, no true love ever came and Aurora died when the castle was seized.
Alyssa & Jake - Rapunzel and Her Prince Alyssa and Jake found themselves dropped right into a fairy tale, with Rapunzel and her Prince trying to work out Rapunzel’s escape from a tower within the woods, having to fight off Rapunzel’s crazed grandmother, who turned her Prince into stone. They managed to defeat her with magical effort from both Rapunzel and Alyssa. They helped her Prince reach her, discovered their connections, and returned to Camelot. Rapunzel and the Prince got married, and Rapunzel was pregnant - but sadly it was cut short when Azazel attacked. They tried their best to help, but their newfound friends were killed in the attack.
The Stories
King Arthur - The castle was once ruled by King Arthur, accompanied by his 12 Knights of the Round Table. Lancelot was not only King Arthur’s greatest champion but he was also his cousin. It was Azazel who instigated an affair between Lancelot and Arthur’s wife, manipulating a witch of The House to manipulate them with a love spell. When news broke out of this affair, it greatly angered the King, so much that he almost took his cousin’s own life. However, he could not do it. In the midst of fighting with Lancelot, with his blade to his cousin’s throat, King Arthur stopped. He just couldn’t do it. He couldn’t kill his cousin, who he cared about so deeply.
The King’s people were furious and many wanted Lancelot to be punished, even going as far as wanting him dead. In order to save his cousin from being killed by his people, Arthur had Merlin do a spell that would protect Lancelot from being killed by his people, that he would be able to go on with no one recognizing who he was; but the price was that Arthur would have to be cursed to dwell inside his castle for all eternity, never going on to the afterlife. It was a big price to pay, one many wouldn’t after what Lancelot did. However Arthur made this deal and Lancelot was able to go on and live his life. Arthur exiled his cousin, and Lancelot was never seen again.
After the adultery, King Arthur departed from his wife and fell in love with a woman outsider. She was the daughter or a Captain, and the two fell madly in love. She was his rock, standing by him through thick and thin. King Arthur proposed to her, wanting to wed again even though he didn’t think he would. The two would never wed.
It was after his exilement that the leader of The House, Mordred, attacked the castle. He was possessed by the demon known as Azazel, who was looking for the way to release Lucifer. The castle was overrun by demons, knights of hell and Azazel who ultimately killed everyone. They forced the King to try and take refuge in the secret room they had created in case the castle was overrun, but they did not hold up for long as the King was killed and fell down a well within the room, to his death.
Creation Of The 12 Knights Arthur was taken to a special realm where he spoke with God. He told the King why he and his people were stuck in the mystical land, and told him that a war was coming. He told Arthur that demons would be attacking, looking to release Lucifer and gifted Arthur with thirteen rings which opened the gate to Lucifer’s cage. When Arthur returned, he gifted twelve of the rings to his most strongest knights, creating the Twelve Knights of the Round Table.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves - Sara Worley was nicknamed Snow White due to her beautiful pale white skin. She ended up being apart of The Town due to arriving thanks to the Bermuda Triangle. The girl spent most of her time out in the forest, and became very attuned to the animals that inhabited it. King Arthur would spend some time alone, even though his Knights didn’t like him venturing alone due to the threats within the woods. It was during one of his strolls on his horse that he came across Snow, who helplessly fell in a rushing river. Being the heroic man he was, he entered the waters with his horse and pulled the woman up onto his steed. He took her to land and Sara was grateful… So you’d think.
The two had a bit of witty banter that they exchanged, and she mocked his ways by calling him “Charming”. The two did indeed fall in love, and Arthur proposed to her… Having just gotten out of the marriage with his ex wife who had an affair with his cousin, he was actually quite shocked he fell for the girl. And something about it was different. It felt right. However, the evil Queen known as Morgan wasn’t going to let her brother be happy when she couldn’t be. She sent a Huntsman after Sara, wanting her heart to be ripped out but when he returned without it it angered her so much that she cursed him with demon blood and locked him within her castle. She decided to take things into her own hands and poisoned Snow with a poisoned candied apple, putting her in a deep slumber.
It was so deep that it seemed as if her heart stopped beating. Arthur got news of what happened to his newly made fiance and rushed away from his castle, rushing to be with her… In such a hurry that he left his most prized item behind - The Excalibur. He rushed into The Town on his horse, the townies staring in shock and some hiding in fear. Arguing with her father, Arthur pushed his way past Sara’s father and found his fiance laying there in a comatose state. Nothing was left to do but say their goodbyes, and that’s when it happened. Arthur kissed her lips one last time as a single man tear fell down his cheek(Cause his actor always cries in OUAT I gotta stay true to character) and a strange wave shot off of them.
The Evil Queen immediately felt her spell being broken and she screamed out in anger. Filled with so much rage she ran to his room within the castle and looked around. Her intentions were just to destroy the room but when she saw he left his blade, she took it and rode her black steed out to the lake. In a fit of rage she chucked it as far as she could, using magic to assist her and covering it up with whatever dirt was at the bottom of the water. This would cause the death of the King and his people.
Pinocchio/Merlin - Geppetto and his wife Abigail had a son, one who would become a famous pirate known as; Hook. The two then would get pregnant for a second time with another boy; however this time the baby was a stillborn. Geppetto couldn’t bear his wife’s and his own heart break so he decided he would do something about it. He called upon a demon named Rumpelstiltskin. He struck a deal with the man, but being the sneaky demon he was he didn’t just bring the baby back to life. No, in fact he specifically told them that he could retrieve the baby’s soul but it could not be placed back into it’s body. Out of pure irony and for his own amusement, he told Geppetto he’d give him his son back but he’d be in the body of a puppet. Of course it was stupid but it was better than nothing and Geppetto made the deal. Unlike the typical crossroad demons, he didn’t want Geppetto’s soul. In fact, he wanted something which… Didn’t make sense. He told him that his other son would live forever and not experience pain. This seemed like a blessing! So, of course the deal was struck. Rumpelstiltskin had a rogue reaper retrieve the soul for him.
The baby’s soul was put into a puppet which they named Pinocchio. As the years passed, the boy grew up but did not age. His father, the puppet creator, would change the puppet for Pinocchio as he grew up. It wasn’t enough though. He wanted to be a real boy. He was a real boy! At least in his heart. This want/need sent Pinocchio on a quest with his Zanno named Jiminy Cricket. They went on to try and find someone who had enough power to help him; Rumpelstiltskin. However, the demon laughed at the small puppet. So happy to see his work in action; due to the boy’s idiocracy for thinking he would help him… He sent his father into the ocean to be eaten by one of the horrible creatures within. Afraid, Pinocchio faced his fears and went into the ocean to save his father with a small makeshift raft. The two were eaten by a whale which was… Much larger than any normal one. You see, Pinocchio’s soul was the reincarnation of Jonah from the bible who was also swallowed by a whale. Geppetto cried with anger and sorrow that his son would die along with him now that they both were eaten. They were in the whale for an entirety of 3 days, but on that third day the whale spit them out; onto the beach before disappearing back into the depths.
He was okay! And so was his father. But the problem remained… He was still a puppet. Returning back to their kingdom, the townsfolk all surrounded them to hear the tale of how they survived. When the King found out what a heroic deed was done by Pinocchio he told him he deserved a reward and when he asked him what it was that he wanted, he replied. “I want to be a real boy.” Some laughed, thought it was a joke. Others were sad because they knew that could not be… But the King nodded and turned to his wife. She was a powerful witch and casted a spell to change Pinocchio into a real boy. When this happened the whole town cheered and rejoiced! Pinocchio couldn’t help but dance with glee, he couldn’t believe it! Tears of joy fell from his eyes and the King said that he deserved a new name; fitting for a real boy. His parents looked at one another; naming him what they had wanted to from when he was still in the womb. “Merlin… His name is Merlin.” Merlin grew up and he was able to practice magic and it was so powerful due to the fact that he himself was coursing with magic from first being a soul in a puppet then turned into a real boy by the Queen. He would become one of the strongest witches, and became King Arthur’s court wizard.
The Lady of the Lake - The Lady is a mysterious figure in King Arthur’s stories. In reality, she is the creator of all fairies - their equivalent of a God. No one knows where she comes from, how she was made, or what she wants - but she has been around for a long time, and will likely be around for even longer. The Lady hated creatures, and held a grudge against Eve because they stole her home which was once Purgatory. So she supplied King Arthur the magical blade, Excalibur, to kill her. Arthur accepted the task and killed Eve with the blade, sending her to Purgatory. However, the true power of the blade was meant to send creatures to The Nothing and because phoenix ashes were not on the blade, it would not work on Eve. After learning this, the Lady of the Lake quested Arthur one last time to kill Eve. He had his most powerful witch, Merlin, create a one way portal to Purgatory. The portal was created deep within a cave, to keep it safe from people entering through it. Before embarking on his quest, Arthur learned that doing this to Eve would kill all creatures and he had allies; friends who would die because of it. So in the end the King refused, and this angered the Lady, but she remained involved in many affairs of the residents of the town, kingdom, and house.
Aladdin & Jasmine - Aladdin and Jasmine’s were siblings whose parents died young. Jasmine was adopted by a wealthy family, and Aladdin was left on the streets to fend for herself. She ended up learning how to use magic to rob people for cash, or steal food, and she became quite the little magical thief. Eventually, Aladdin learned of her sister and after meeting her, the girl originally didn’t believe in magic. To prove what Aladdin was doing was real, she stole a flying carpet from Merlin’s study. After hearing about this, Rumpelstiltskin - under the alias of Jafar - who was looking to break the curse on his name, he went to hire Aladdin to steal a genie lamp from a fabled cave, which supposedly drove people to madness. Willing to risk it for such massive payment, Aladdin snuck into the cave and almost didn’t make it because of a Witch living inside who was driving her to madness. Jasmine, who was pure of heart, was immune to the Witches powers and managed to get inside, save Aladdin and grab the lamp. Rather than return the lamp to the demon. After some time passed, Aladdin decided to use the lamp herself when Jasmine began to get sick and die. She wished for Jasmine to get better, for her to be rich, and for her to be happy. However, the last wish was short lived, because when Aladdin made the final wish, she was sucked into the lamp, and the genie fled when he was freed. Jasmine fled to the Witches of the house and spent years trying to save her sister from the lamp and fell into a deep sadness. She was killed when Azazel attacked the school.
Sleeping Beauty - Aurora was a powerful medium who could speak to the spirits, but the way she did this was indeed strange. When she was asleep, she was able to go into the spirit world and freely speak with them. Aurora used her abilities for good but Maleficent, an evil wicked witch who despised her for helping people decided to curse her. She knew that her body could be stolen by spirits when she was asleep, so she cursed the girl to sleep forever. Aurora fought for her body, having allied spirits she befriended to help protect her. She had no idea how to break the curse, she heard of another woman cursed as she was… They called her Snow White. Rumor had it she broke free from a kiss from true love… But Aurora didn’t have someone like that. She never woke up, presumably dying when the battle at the castle took place.
Jack and the Beanstalk - A boy appeared out of nowhere to a woman who owned a farm which was slowly falling apart after the death of her husband. Hungry, and alone the boy startled the woman within her chicken house. She asked him what his name was and he replied. “Zero... “ She asked him what kind of name was that but he did not answer. Instead she took him in, she fed him and clothed him. Due to her kindness he stayed with her and took care of her farm, repairing things and taking care of her animals. She was so grateful to the man and she started to call him Jack. She asked if he liked the name and he would only reply with a nod and a smile. He was not much of a talker. Soon the kingdom in which they lived was attacked by something sinister; huge giants that could destroy the village and castle with one step. King Arthur knew who summoned the giant, it was no other than his sister. She was again plotting to ruin his kingdom.
As a giant came to attack the town, the King and his Knights charged off to destroy it. The thing was so strong, and it took a lot. The Knights and King managed to kill one but… Another emerged. Exhausted from attacking the first giant, the King and his men did not have enough energy to take another one down. Seemingly, out of nowhere… Jack came running into the picture and right at the giant. The King watched with wide eyes as he single handedly killed the giant. Shocked, the King asked him how he was able to do such a thing and he replied with showing a special blade that he owned. King Arthur dubbed it the “Giant Slayer.”
The King and his people were far from safe, however… More giants were coming. Arthur asked his council what they could do and as many ideas went back and forth none seemed to work and that’s when Jack volunteered. He would go and kill all of the giants before they came. Arthur couldn’t believe it and asked if he thought he could truly do so, and Jack was certain he could. He asked where it was that the giants were coming from and Merlin told him, that it was Purgatory. Somehow Morgan was able to transfer them here. Arthur asked Merlin if he could get Zero a way to go to Purgatory and also come back. Merlin simply nodded and said he could do it. He created a number of special beans and gave them to Zero. They would create a huge beanstalk and it would lead him up into the sky where a portal would open… The only problem was that other things could use it as well to return. Zero told him that nothing would get through; and he was right. Zero/Jack created a beanstalk and climbed up it, into Purgatory. He killed many, many giants and a number of other creatures. When he came back down after a number of 2 days he was exhausted, looked injured, dirty, and bloody. The King awarded the man for his great feat. making him one of his 12 Knights of the Roundtable. Jack disintegrated the beanstalk which he created with his abilities, because he was a phoenix.
Rapunzel - Rapunzel was born a powerful witch, within a family of magic users. It was apparent later on that her grandmother made a deal with a demon named Rumpelstiltskin; to give Rapunzel much power if her grandmother gave him something in return when he came asking. That night came when she was 5 years old; he wanted magic in return for the magic he gave the girl. In order to do this; Rapunzel’s grandmother poisoned her parents and gave them to him as payment. Both of her parents were witches and their power together was enough to settle the debt. Rumpelstiltskin was pleased but told her it wasn’t ‘quite’ enough and told her that he would be back on day, for a favor from Rapunzel. Scared, her grandmother locked her up in a tower to keep her safe. The little girl would eventually grow older and was not allowed to ever cut her hair. It was apparent that she was so magical, that even her hair held magic within it…. Only her grandmother was allowed to cut small pieces of it here and there that she used for her own spells and potions.
Rapunzel would stare out the tower she was locked in, and at the age of 13 she saw a boy outside playing with his friends in the woods. He was handsome, rugged, and by the way he played with the others it seemed he was dangerous. She awed for him but didn’t see him again until years later… When he was outside her tower. He yelled up to her, having seen her through the window and asked her what she was doing up there. She explained that she was stuck there, and not allowed to leave. Of course the boy thought that was ridiculous and he would start coming and visit her slowly, climbing her hair to get up there. The two fell in love and this angered her grandmother. She cursed the boy and told Rapunzel that she was not allowed to leave and if she wanted him she would have to have him in the form of stone. Now a statue, he stood there in the girl’s room as she sobbed in agony… She pleaded for forgiveness even though he could not answer, and she gave him a kiss on his lips as a final apology. The kiss broke the magic and he returned to normal. Shocked, she told him she wanted to leave and run away with him. He agreed and the two escaped and ran off together.
Alice in Wonderland - Alice was a dropout from the magical house and a drug addict. After being kicked out of the house, the young witch drifted around and drowned herself in vices, going between the kingdom and the town, or wherever the wind really took her. She’d lie and cheat people for money - and eventually began cooking up her own magical drugs. Eventually she managed to get ahold of a recipe that was a powerful magical drug, but when she took it, it brought her into a different reality entirely - Wonderland.
The Librarian - The Librarian was, as her name would imply, the librarian of the town. She was also a Prophet, and during her time in the town, she began writing books that told the stories of all of the important figures in the area, meeting all of them personally at one point or another and writing their stories proper, even being considered an ally to the Kingdom despite the distrust between them and the town. When the siege happened, the witches were killed, and the town was purged - the Librarian was the only survivor. She was alone for a time, before finally she was removed from the area by God. However, she wasn’t in her own time - she was in Europe, in the very early middle ages. Regardless, she told her stories - the stories of those who were once her friends - until she peacefully passed away from old age. These stories would be passed down through the ages, change, and become the fairy tales we know today.
The Little Match Girl - A sick girl from an abusive household was attempting to sell matches in the town, doing her best to get the attention of the townsfolk so she could return with profit for her ‘father’ - who was secretly a creature who was using her soul as a food source, posing as her father who had really been dead for years. None of the townspeople came, but the girl was too weak to make it back home and instead sat in an alleyway during that snowy night and began to light the matches one by one as she watched the sky. While she did so, she saw a star fall from the sky. Remembering a story she was told by her grandmother, she thought this was someone going to Heaven - it was the opposite, in fact, and an Angel had removed their grace and fallen.
The Evil Queen found the girl, curled up and weak as she was, and in a moment of sympathy, took her to safety. She was going to heal her, but found that the sickness was a result of her soul being damaged and slowly withering away - likely the result of a creature of some sort - and she did her best to repair the damage done, but she was unable to do so. The Queen has also come in possession of the Fallen Angel’s grace, and using its power, she merged it with the young girl's soul and kept her alive. This girl - named Revan - was raised by the queen and her lover - Sir Gareth the Giant Slayer - for most of her young life. The Queen was her mother figure, who gave her a loving home, and Sir. Gareth was her father - who taught her to defend herself from the various creatures and other nasty beings of the kingdom. Eventually, however, Gareth simply… vanished. This hurt the Queen deeply.
Things changed after that, but it only got worse when the Angels - thinking that Revan was simply the Angel who had fallen - came to retrieve their “fallen sibling” by force and dragged her to Heaven, kicking and screaming. She was promptly reprogrammed, and no longer has any memory of her origins, or the family that was left behind so long ago.
Little Red Riding Hood - A werewolf attacked two little girls in the woods and one was bitten, that was Red’s sister. The two were always told to stay right on the trails in the woods, and it just so happened that Red’s hood saved her from being hurt by the wolf. Red and the little girl would go home and in a month she would turn to a werewolf herself and kill their parents. Red was taken in by an old man which she’d slowly begin to call grandpa. He taught her about werewolves and how to hunt them, and over time she became a great werewolf hunter. There was one werewolf that she wanted to kill, made it her mission. The one that turned her sister and she eventually found it… However, it was more powerful and smart than she anticipated. A woodsman, seemingly out of nowhere saved Red by slicing it open with a huge axe. It was at this time that she was able to shoot a steel arrow straight through the thing’s heart and killing it. Red and the Woodsman would fall in love soon after. Little Red Riding Hood would later go on to prove her skill to King Arthur in hunting a large pack of werewolves alone, and went on to be knighted under the title of Sir Bedivere for the Round Table.
Mulan - Mulan was a village girl under King Arthur’s rule who was trained by her father in weapon usage for her own protection against the creatures in the area. Sadly, during an accident, her father was injured while protecting their homestead from zombies one night, and he was unable to contribute to the King’s army when they came recruiting., Mulan disguised herself as a man to take his place, proving herself to be an exceptional fighter, so much so that she - known to the King as Sir Galahad - was often celebrated as one of Arthur’s best knights, and she fell in love with a woman from the town named Shang, who later became aware of her gender, but simply didn’t care. Mulan went on to retrieve the Holy Grail for King Arthur from Hooks Pirates. She revealed her gender finally after this grand act, and was commended as a hero in the kingdom. Shang was eventually murdered by Hook’s pirates, which drove Mulan on a quest for revenge, which would later lead to her end when the castle was sieged and she fell down the well to try to save King Arthur, becoming a Wendigo.
Beauty and the Beast - Belle was a girl who lived within The Town and spent a lot of her time in the library. However, Belle was murdered by a demon and left her siblings with her passing. However, the one she was closest to, her brother; sold his soul. He brought his sister back but was only given ten years to live. Belle was furious and determined to not let her brother die… She heard of a powerful witch within the Kingdom. It was forbidden to travel there but she did so anyways, determined to save her brother’s soul. Belle managed to find the Evil Witch, and decided she would make a deal with Belle. She would give herself over to her, never to return to The Town and never see her brother again… But he would be free from his deal. Belle quickly agreed and The Evil Queen locked her within the castle. She became a maid, forced to clean and keep the castle spic and span, and even cook for the Queen. It was during this that she met a man… A beast which lived within the cells of the castle. For no one spoke his name, considering him nothing more than a beast, one tainted with demon blood. It was apparent that the man was cursed by the Witch with demon blood for failing to find and rip out Sara Worley’s heart. He was then thrown deep within the castle, to rot within while no person dared to speak or touch him due to his tainted blood. Belle fell in love with The Beast.
Peter Pan - Peter Pan always hated grown ups and wanted to create an island out at the sea full of only children. He became fascinated with a girl named Wendy and took her away with him to “Neverland.”... Which happened to just be a cute name they gave the small island. Peter Pan despised grown ups so much that he clashed with pirates. The worse of all being Captain Hook. Hook was after the Holy Grail, which he heard was buried somewhere on the island… But due to Peter Pan’s rules no grown ups were allowed. They’d attack the ships that would approach the island. Hook needed the Grail due to it’s legendary abilities… It was said to fix things that were taken away or cursed. Hook was cursed due to Rumpelstiltskin who made a deal with his parents when he was a young child, he was forced to live forever and would be unable to “feel”. Through a rough fucking battle between the pirates and freaking KIDS, Hook gets on land and hunts for the Grail…. All seems grand when he finds it, happy that he could now fix the curse that was laid upon him when Mulan’s bitch ass came out of nowhere and sliced his hand clean off, taking the Grail and bringing to their kingdom. Causing a war between the Kingdom and the pirates.
