Personality: Kennedy is smart, sassy, and not afraid to speak her mind. She likes to rebel a little and live in the moment and doesn't always think about the consequences of her actions. Of course, this isn't exactly a good trait to have for a hunter so her impulse thinking can land her in some pretty tight spots. But Kennedy is a quick thinker and usually can figure a way out if she finds herself in a bind. Usually. Kennedy's motto is definitely 'Go Big or Go Home.' She likes things that make a big statement... big guns, big explosions, big everything. She's extremely impulsive and, for lack of better words, she likes to blow shit up.
Kennedy isn't the sort of person to take anybody's crap. She tends to treat people the way they treat her, so if you are polite and kind, she will be as well. But if you give her attitude she will fire it right back at you. A lot of times her words can just drip with sarcasm because, as stated before, she's not afraid to speak her mind and sometimes it may seem like she just has no filter. She doesn't necessarily try to be rude but she feels like she spent so much time just trying to be heard that now being brutally honest seems to come naturally for her. If she doesn't say it now, she may not get another chance.

History:
Kennedy comes from a long line of hunters on both sides of her family and was raised on the road. She is the middle child of five and, though she was the baby of the family for what seemed like a hot minute before her sister Reagan was born, for the most part during her childhood she felt neglected and treated unfairly. She didn't have the respect, trust and privilege of being an older sibling and she didn't get away with things that her younger siblings did. She was caught in the middle and if she wasn't being neglected, she was taking the blame. Of course, this was the perception of a child. In reality, her parents were strict, but quite fair, and loved all of their children the same.
But that didn't stop Kennedy from wanting out of the hunting life. When she was fourteen, she met a girl named Jade during a hunt in West Virginia. The two girls hit it off like they were old friends and shared an unrealistic dream to go to New York and become famous. Kennedy kept quiet about what her family did for a living and ended up running away with Jade, leaving her family behind to think that she was dead. It wasn't an easy decision to make and it was definitely hard for her to leave her family, but she was finished with the family curse of hunting the supernatural and saw this to be a way out.
Kennedy and Jade walked, bused, and hitchhiked their way north and by the time they reached Connecticut, their wild New York dreams were quickly fading into an all new reality. Kennedy and Jade were 15 and 16 years old, respectively, and were finally coming to the realization that they may end up homeless forever. It was at a bus depot that the two girls were discussing their dilemma when a boy a bit older than them chimed in and told them about a couple who took in teen runaways like themselves and provided them with a place to stay. Though hesitant at first, they decided to check the place out and before long they were falling into the routine of chores, bedtimes, and actual public school. It was at the Coleman's household that the two girls met their close friends Melody, Troy and of course Dillon, the boy from the bus depot. They lived together under the care and guidance of Steve and Laura Coleman and over the next few years Kennedy's relationship with these people grew closer and eventually they thought of one another as family.
It wasn't long after Kennedy turned eighteen that she and her friends were spending a Friday night at a local coffee shop. It was open mic night and Melody was performing a couple of her songs and the other four were there supporting her. But on the way home the group was attacked by what appeared at the time to be a wild, stray dog. The scene seemed to play out in slow motion as Dillon was bitten by the animal and Kennedy's hunting instincts kicked in as she drew a silver knife and made quick work of killing what turned out to be a skinwalker. She will never forget the looks on her friends faces after the dog laid their dead from a stab wound to the back, all of their eyes focused on her like they were seeing her for the very first time.
It was time to finally come clean, she decided. Kennedy informed her friends of the paranormal and what her family actually did. To her surprise, they were not only accepting of her story, they were very much interested in learning more. She started teaching them everything she knew, and even reconnected with her family for the first time in almost four years. Kennedy started using ideas from video games she played to start crafting her own unique weapons against the supernatural. Eventually the five of them pitched in together to buy themselves an RV and took to the road as a team of hunters, each of them using their own unique skills to help make the world a safer place. Seemed getting out of the hunting business just wasn't in the cards for her.

"Percussion hits your ears, smell the sex in the air, this shit is crazy. Yeah its craz--" Kennedy was dancing around the workshop, aiming the gun at a window here and a wall there, just imagining what it would be like to actually put it to use, when she whirled around with the intention of aiming it at the door only to cut herself off with a wide-eyed stare as she saw Greg sitting on the floor there.
Great. Not embarrassing at all...
It wasn't like she had ever really harbored a major crush on the guy. Kennedy had always found Greg attractive, but from day one he was Justin's best friend and that meant completely off-limits, so any time she felt attracted to him, she usually brushed it off. It was like an unspoken vow that they would never go there. Of course, there had been a few times since Justin's death that she couldn't help but wonder if those rules still applied now. But Kennedy didn't want to bring it up and make things awkward, so she never said anything. They were good friends and that was fine by her... but that didn't mean she wanted to get caught with spinach in her teeth, so to speak.
She set the huge gun on the table in front of her and switched off her iPod, clearing her throat awkwardly as she pulled out the earbuds and stuffed them into her pocket. "Hey," she mumbled, clearing her throat again because that came out so soft she might as well have not said anything at all. She looked over at Greg and it finally dawned on her that he looked worn out and maybe even terrified. Immediately, she moved around the table and squatted down in front of him, brushing his hair back from his face as she looked at him with concern. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
