History: The youngest of five, Linc grew up on the road with his family. The Starks and the Whitmores had been involved in hunting for many generations, and it was a way of life for his family. That meant constant traveling and being home-schooled, and not being in one place long enough to really make solid friendships. So his closest friends happened to be his siblings, which would have been alright if the two sisters closest to him in age (and they weren't that close, really) hadn't left when he was just a kid.
Once Linc was a teenager, he took a more active role in hunting, usually guided by his older brother and sister, Harrison and Madison. Harrison was kind of a big shot and tended to make it seem more fun, while Maddie had a far more serious take on the matter. She was clearly shaken by the abandonment of Kennedy and later Reagan, and as a result was very protective of Linc. When Harrison got married and started a family of his own, Linc ended up joining Madison on more and more hunts, though he often took a back seat with her in the lead. He found that there were many times that he sympathized with the creature they were hunting... probably far more often than he should, according to his sister. Some of them were sincere, but others would see Linc for his soft heart and do what they could to exploit it. Maddie would find herself pulling Linc out of hot water probably more often than she liked. Not because he was incompetent... he was extremely smart and skilled... but because of his gullibility.
When Madison was the third Stark sibling to disappear, it mattered to him the most. He was old enough to have built up an actual relationship with her... and old enough to go out on his own. So that's what he did. Bought himself an used '76 Corvette Stingray and went off in search of his three missing sisters... saving as many innocent people along the way as he could... and maybe even trying to save a supernatural creature or two who, quite often in his opinion, were also victims.

Beth glanced over at the passenger seat as she pulled into the gas station. They had been driving for nearly six hours and Dean had been asleep for about two of them. It had been two days since she first met him back in Michigan and honestly, she was amazed that he had stuck around. Grateful... but amazed. Dean had so far proven to be quite interesting company... not to mention eye candy for the road that didn't give her a stomach ache or cavities.
The gas station was so empty that Beth almost wasn't sure if the pumps even worked anymore. There was a lone dusty green pickup truck parked in the very back corner of the gravel parking lot that ran alongside the small convenience store. The filling area looked to be the only section that was paved, and it was old, cracked pavement at that. She considered waking Dean in case he needed to use the restroom but she decided against it. Even if he did need to make a pit stop, she doubted he'd want to do it in a smelly, cockroach-infested gas station bathroom.
Beth pulled up to the pump and shut off the engine, looking over at him once more. Two nights ago she had kissed him and run out before giving him a chance to reject her. They hadn't talked about the kiss since then and he hadn't given any sign of clue that it even phased him. If Dean was at all intrigued or repulsed by that one little display of affection, he was very good at not letting it show.
She got out of her car and closed the car door, walking around to look at the pump and frowning when she realized there was no credit card reader. With a sigh she hoisted her bag onto her shoulder and went inside to prepay. There was a fairly young guy slouching at the counter and looking far too tired or too stoned to work there... it was hard to tell which. Beth decided to wander around the store to gather up a few snacks for the road. She needed to stretch her legs anyway.
