History:  Astrid was born on March 17th, 1992 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She was born to her mother who gave her away to an orphanage for reasons unknown to Astrid, but the reality is, her mother was a witch and being hunted by some witch hunters. Not wanting to risk her baby girl's life, she gave her up and left, never coming back for her. However, her mother had contacted her coven to let them know where she was taking her daughter just in case they never heard from her again. They didn't. 

After some time had passed, a member of the coven, Brett Manning, then visited the orphanage, filled out some paperwork and was able to adopt Astrid and bring her back to a home which a few of them shared together. He raised Astrid as his own and the other members did as well. It certainly took a village, and Astrid was very happy.. they were her family. They taught her magic, homeschooled her, and cared for her.

Brett had to go for some business one day, so he let Astrid know and left her with some trusted coven members. She didn't know it, but he had a clue on where the witch hunters were that had killed Astrid's mother, Gina, and he wanted revenge. Unfortunately, he had underestimated the amount that was there, and he too, was killed by the group. The other coven members knew what had happened whenever he didn't contact or return back from his "business meeting". Whenever they broke the news to Astrid, she broke down. Brett was like her father, and now he was gone and she was scared and didn't know what to do. 

The rest of the coven did their best caring for her, but it never was the same to her. They acted different towards her after Brett was killed.. almost like they blamed it on her. Whether they actually were or not, she certainly felt like it although she didn't know why. 

She was running some errands one afternoon.. she had ran to the grocery store when all of a sudden a dog ran up and attacked her. She used her telekinesis to throw it off of her and run back to the house, but.. as time told, it wasn't just any regular dog. It was a skinwalker.. and she had gotten infected. 

Whenever her coven found out what had happened, they kicked her out right away. She had no where to go, no one she knew.. she was on her own and scared. She wasn't on her own for too long, though, because another skinwalker soon found her. His name was Lux, she told him her story, and he welcomed her into his pack and she joined very graciously.

RP Sample: *Ben walks in to the wood shop beside his house and begins to sand down his newly built table and then his phone rings. he answers his phone when he sees it's his uncle Grant* Hey, what's up? *he asks holding the phone up against his ear with his shoulder, continuing to sand the table*







Uncle Grant- Drop what you're doing and get over here right now. *his voice sounds sounds stern and slightly frantic*







*he puts down the sandpaper and grabs the keys to his truck* What's going on? *he asks as he turns the lights off in his shop and shuts the door, walking to his truck*







Uncle Grant- Freddie ran off. We were hunting a demon and he ran after him, and now I can't find him. *he has an annoyed tone to his voice, and is slightly out of breath*







*Ben groans annoyed* He knows better than to go after a demon by himself! *he climbs in his pickup truck and slams the door shut and starts it up* I'm on my way, where are you?







Uncle Grant- I'm in the woods near the Watson's old farm. Near that one giant tree with nothing around it.







*Ben nods to himself* Ok, yeah, I remember. I'm on my way, stay there and call me if anything else happens. *he pulls out of the driveway, flinging gravel as he flies onto the road* Damn it, Freddie. *he says to himself, while he speeds all the way to the woods where his uncle told him he was* *he pulls off on the side of the road and turns off his truck,grabs his gun and starts running through the woods and to the giant tree where he sees his Uncle Grant standing there, gun in hand*







Uncle Grant- It's about time you got here, I was about to just keep on looking for him myself. *he starts trotting off in, motioning for Ben to follow*







*He follows Grant and they go through the woods, as they have done several times before* Where do you think he could've went?







Uncle Grant- Well, boy, if I would've known, I wouldn't have called you, now would I?







*Ben stays quiet and keeps looking, whenever he sees a shadow, he stops and grabs his gun*







Uncle Grant- *he stops whenever Ben stops, looking over at him and then to where the shadow is* There's that stupid bastard. *he says annoyed then walks towards him* What the hell were you thinking? *he yells at Freddie*







*Ben stays quiet, but follows Grant over to where Freddie is*







Uncle Freddie- *he looks over to see Ben and Grant walking towards him* I almost had him. *he wipes the sweat off of his face and sighs, the look of disappointment on his face.*
