Corbin is a rude asshole to pretty much everyone he comes across, though lately he has been struggling to make the effort to be less so. The harpy is incredibly protective of those he cares about, and will do whatever he can to keep them safe. Corbin has deep and likely permanent mental scars left from his birth family, especially his mother, when he was a small fledgling just starting to grow his flight feathers. After being pushed out of the nest, then personally discarded by his mother, and left to die in the forest, these scars have left him fearing being considered weak and useless. This can still affect him with bouts of depression and deep anger when he feels like he can't protect those he cares about. He's actually quite insecure, even more so since arriving in Zeppelin. Once you get to know him, if he lets you through his shell that is, he proves to be a rather quirky fellow with an immense love for working with his hands.
Corbin is quite mechanically inclined, and is rather gifted when it comes to figuring out how to repair anything with moving parts. He also tends to take them apart to see how they work.
-His feathers in harpy form have the pattern and colors of a black-billed magpie.
-He tends to be somewhat nosy, and likes to give places a thorough look over/through.
-He loves to hunt and eat snakes, rabbits, and vermin (mice, etc).
-Corbin prefers to sleep outside in a tree rather than inside.
-Secretly, he loves dancing, despite how at odds it is with his personality.
-He prefers to read a book over watching tv, though occasional movies are alright.
-Frequently communicates in grunts, growls, and hisses while having a conversation.
In A Relationship with - It's complicated. Even he's not sure right now.
Tyson Grant: (Non-romantic) He's the first person outside of Siofra and Ein that the harpy could call a friend, and he cares for him deeply. They are at the moment essentially friends with added...benefits. Though Corbin secretly harbors deep feelings of love towards Tyson, he's still a little scared of this love, as he's not sure what it is. He just knows that he desires Tyson's company and will do whatever he can to protect him.
Andreas Ambrose: They had a rough first meeting, then a second. By the third meeting Corbin managed to reign in his tongue enough that things cooled between them to the point of being capable of having a decent conversation. He's not quite ready to call the vampire a friend.
Aubrey Shaw: He's only really interacted with her a handful of times, but she's starting to grow on him.
Siofra MacBranain: The woman who found him after he'd been abandoned by his birth family, she adopted him and raised him as her son. He is immensely loyal to her, and incredibly protective. Because of this, she tends to be his weak link, and he will do whatever he has to to ensure she stays safe.
Eindriđi Hallvarđrson: The first harpy Corbin met outside of his birth family, he's since formed an extremely close familial relationship with him. The older harpy has been guiding him in ways that Siofra couldn't, as Corbin truly needed a harpy's help in understanding much of what he is and what he is capable of. He sees Ein as a father, and senses that the older harpy views him as a son in turn.
Belle LeBlanc: Such a sweet cinnamon roll. He couldn't be rude to her if he tried because it made him feel bad just to think about it. Somehow she coerced him into being friends, though perhaps it was the exceptional baked treats that did it.
Hudson Cooper: Tyson's roommate. They've become somewhat friends in the course of their interactions during Corbin's many visits, and he has begun to treat Hudson as something of a confidant when he's trying to understand his feelings towards Tyson.
Dankman: Friggin creep who's always stalking him. He doesn't trust the guy. And like seriously who's keeping tallies on the sounds he makes during conversations anyway?
Lucen Grey: Dankman's friend who also harasses him. He holds immense dislike for her.
Daisy: She's stolen his wallet on more than one occasion and even his phone. He despises the pickpocket.
Clancy Arkwright: Schoolyard bully. She's beaten him up before and hauled him around while firmly holding his ear, and needless to say he does not like the girl.
Ciar: He is the disgruntled and reluctant owner of a female black cat who decided he was to be her new owner. It's possible she adores him, or she's trying to find a way to hunt the biggest bird she's ever seen in her life. It's a bit of a love hate relationship. She loves lavishing Corbin with attention, and enjoys curling around his shoulders. If she's not on his shoulders, she's likely to be found wandering around behind him everywhere she can follow, like his own mini shadow. She has a habit of sticking her tongue out partially as she sits or loafs anywhere, which gives her a cutely dumb look. Sometimes she'll purposely lie by Corbin so her tongue can poke his arm or cheek, much to his endless annoyance. But for everything he says about the cat, she's beginning to grow on him, and he can't help but feel worry when he can't find her anywhere. He'll never openly admit to truly caring for the cat. She is also known as Blep.
