History: Zahra was born to two Skinwalkers, meaning she is a blood-born Skinwalker. Although she is a Skinwalker, she's a bit different from the normal Skinwalker. Her birth parents left her off in the streets in New York City. There was a younger couple walking one night when they heard a baby crying in an ally off from the street. Harrison and Rachel Larson. Causing natural curiosity, Rachel had went down in the ally, finding Zahra wrapped in a blanket on the ground. But by a one in a thousand chance, Harrison was a Skinwalker. He could smell that this baby was not a normal baby and he told his wife to grab her and that they needed to help her. The took Zahra home with them and tried to figure out how to go about this or what to do. So after a bit of fighting over it, they decided to hang on to her and raise her themselves. With Harrison being a Skinwalker, he knew he could help her learn how to hunt and how to keep a low profile. When Zahra was about five or six years old, she was hunting with Harrison and he taught her how she needed to prey on animals instead of human. He taught her the morals of it about hunters. After they were done with their hunt, they went back home in their true forms since Rachel knew about Harrison anyway. Rachel put her in the bath and told Harrison she needed to run to the store, so she left Zahra with him. A few hours had passed and she hadn't come back. Harrison had gotten Zahra out of the bath and put her in bed when he got a phone call from the NYPD. Rachel had been shot during a robbery at the grocery store. She had seen Zhara in her true form and she was human. After getting the news, Harrison went on a downward spiral for months. He couldn't take it anymore and he took Zahra to a children's home because he didn't want to be reminded of the life he had with Rachel. So, little Zahra was stuffed into a home with people she knew weren't like her and she was terrified. But she held on to everything that Harrison and Rachel had taught her and she reminded herself of it every day.
When Zahra turned eight years old, there was a couple that had came to the home looking to adopt a child because they couldn't have one of their own. So the women over the home prepped the children and Zahra just stayed in the corner the whole time. When the couple came in to meet the children, they spotted her sitting in the corner by herself just staring at the floor. She had seen many kids come and go and she missed her family so she had no interest in getting to know another family just to get thrown away. Zahra was also so exhausted with having to lie about where she was after school just so she could go hunting. But, the couple approached her and asked if she was okay. She was polite and told them that she was just tired. They introduced themselves as Arthur and Marylin Hepson. They sat down with Zahra and tried pulling her out of her shell a little more by asking her what she liked and her favorite foods. After talking to her for quite some time, they decided they wanted to give her a loving home. She was so shocked that someone actually chose her, but she was afraid to get attached. Arthur and Marilyn took her home and showed her to her room. Of course she was very awkward at first, but she slowly grew to love it there. She was honestly much happier. The Hepsons were the typical white picket fenced family. Zahra was so happy with her life. She was getting birthday parties and she was loving school. She was making good grades and playing sports. To her, life couldn't get any better. Arthur and Marilyn were her mom and dad, nothing could change that.
One night after Zahra had left volleyball practice, she had when out for a hunt. When she came back home, her parents were fixing dinner and she had walked into the back yard in her true form. They looked out the kitchen window seeing her. She was frozen but finally ran off to shift back so she could go home. As soon as she walked in the door, they bombarded her asking if she was okay because there was a huge black dog outside and they were worried. She simply said she didn't see it and that was it, they only told her to be careful. But things started taking a turn with her parents and little things that were happening. Pretty unlucky things. But they only ignored it, thinking that God was just throwing them some curve balls. Until they were on their way to one of Zahra's volleyball games the day before her 16th birthday and a semi had come through a red light due to the driver falling asleep at the wheel. Their car was demolished, killing both of them. Zahra looked around at her game, not seeing them and she just hoped that maybe they had gotten sidetracked. After her game was over, she was approached by her coach and they told her that her parents were killed in a car accident. The shock was so bad and she had no idea how to react to it. Zahra ran out of the school and just ran as far as her legs would take her. She didn't know what to do with herself. The only thing she could think to do was shift and just keep running. She ran until she got to the outskirts of the city and she stopped to catch her breath. She noticed there was a woman and her child across the street waiting at a bus stop and she watched the child smiling at her. The mom said to stay away form it because it could have diseases. She sat there for a moment until the child started running towards her and the mom jut up, running after him. As soon the little boy got right to Zahra, a car came flying by and hit the little boy.. Zahra was in horror and she just took off again, not knowing what's going on or how to take it.
Zahra had no idea how to be around people anymore so she had decided to stay to herself. Once she could finally catch her breath and having another incident of someone getting killed after seeing her in her true form, she drew a few conclusions, assuming she was cursed. She dropped out of school, living on the streets in New York. Zahra was to the point of where she was having no human contact unless she absolutely had to She was honestly depressed. Not to mention she spent her 19th birthday alone, and her past three birthdays as well. She was so use to her family and it had taken a huge toll on her. She was so afraid to be around people. Afraid of hurting others, afraid of her true form. She felt that her heart couldn't handle ruining another life. One night, she had went out hunting in the country in her regular hunting spot. She had set her eyes on an animal, waiting until she hear a noise behind her and she turned around. When she turned, she saw a man standing behind her and she instantly panicked and she ran for it. Trying to prevent from ruining another life. But to her surprise, the man had caught up to her. He told her that it was okay and said that he was like her. He introduced himself as Lux and told her she was safe. She was a bit skiddish of trusting him but she decided to shift back to her true form and he gave her his coat. She put it on though she stayed a good distance from him. Lux proceeded to ask if she was okay because it was very clear that she was underweight so he asked if she had a pack. Zahra told him about how she was living on the streets in the city. Much to her surprise, he offered to take her in and help her. She was reluctant at first but she broke and decided to take him up on his offer. Lux took her back to his pack and introduced her. From that point on, she was with the pack.
