Welcome to Ultimate RPer, a competition to find End of the Road's best. However, every member on this site has their own skills and things they excel at, and are all an Ultimate RPer in their own right. This is just a fun competition to get your creative juices flowing and to show us what you got! Each week (or possibly longer), a challenge will be given to the contestants that revolve around many aspects of role-playing. Sounds great right? We think so! You will be given a deadline to meet with each challenge, if you possibly need an extension it may be possible for us to delay the next part for a bit but we must know a head of time. Now let's get into how the game is going to work!
Each round will be a challenge that you, the contestants, must complete. After all entries for the contest are submitted, the judge (myself) will look over everything and will choose a winner for that challenge. Each individual challenge comes with it's own small prize, so you don't have to win the whole competition to get something out of this! However, as a winner is chosen each week, so is a bottom two. The bottom two contestants will have to battle it out in a c-box battle type RP using characters that are PMed to them on the forum. These characters will be very basic, having some personality traits, random facts, and more! The challenge is to play that character to the best of your abilities and to do it justice. Just because someone wins a battle with the character, doesn't mean that they necessarily did better than the other player. You must remember to try and use everything you're given creatively! We will work with the bottom two individuals to set up a time where both players can get on and RP it out. This sudden death type face off will be called 'Survival of the Fittest'.
When someone is eliminated, they will be on the 'council'. This means that I will take in their input for the remaining challenges. At the end of the day, I will choose who wins but I will take in consideration what my fellow judges think. People's opinions will NOT be shared publicly and biased opinions will NOT be allowed. You don't have to judge if you wish not to or if you end up being unable to.
Okay, so if you're like me you're probably like "Awesome, how do I sign up?!". Well, it's pretty easy actually. Just PM me an introduction to yourself, as the player, NOT a character! Tell us a little about yourself, why do you RP? How long have you been apart of EotR? How did you find out about the site? You can make these as long or as simple as you want, but just know that these will be posted on the official EotR's Ultimate RPer thread page! So make it look nice!
