Vulnerabilities -
Heart Removal: The only way for a Sphinx to die is for them to physically rip their own heart out. By doing so they will fall into a pile of sand. This is what many Sphinx turn to when not having someone of importance to protect, when they feel meaningless.
The Colt: Though currently untested, a bullet from this will also likely be able to kill a Sphinx.

Likes (At Least 3):
❤ Having a purpose and someone to protect - It's ingrained in him as a sphinx via instinct to be a guardian, and he enjoys the feeling of purpose.
❤ Noir detective genre books/movies - He just finds this genre interesting with its drama. And he likes mysteries and detective work, and tries to figure the clues out before the truth is revealed.
❤ Exploring - He loves finding new aspects of where he makes his home, especially if he finds secrets. Also, he likes to know the ins and outs of places to maximise his efficiency as a guardian.
❤ Climbing - He likes high places, and testing himself to see what he can reach. It's also a calming and meditative activity for Aziz, as it allows his mind to wander while his body is busy.
❤ Hunting - As a predator, it's thrilling for him to hunt prey. Either via ambush, or full on chase.
❤ Boxes - He has no idea why he's drawn to cardboard boxes, but he often finds himself sitting in them. Ever since he saw one for the first time once he had arrived in town.
Dislikes (At Least 3):
✗ Laser pointers - He hates being teased with them, and finds it infuriating that he can't resist chasing the light despite knowing what it is and that he won't catch it.
✗ Cars - He hates their horns, and their smell. It's still a new experience for him to actually ride in one as well, so he's still adjusting. Being hit by one outside of town didnt help much either, regardless of the fact it didn't injure him.
✗ Backstabbers - He's a very loyal creature, and despises anyone who turns on him or otherwise uses him to further their own plans without his consent. Really, just being backstabbed in general pisses him off.
✗ Dogs - He doesn't always get along with dogs, finding them annoying and their barking to be aggravating. But, he can appreciate their efficiency against intruders.
✗ Being made a fool of - Aziz hates being embarrassed in front of others, especially those he is guarding.
Fears (At Least 2):
☬ Feeling lost and without purpose, to the point of committing suicide - Aziz has seen all the sphinxes he knew die this way, and he fears falling victim to the same manner of death.
☬ Failing to protect his wards in his task as a guardian - He fears having those in his care be injured or even killed, as that would put a black mark to his name for the rest of his life and possibly affect his future guardian status to anyone.
Goals (At Least 1):
★ To protect the mayor of Zeppelin City and his family in any way that he is able to.
Personality: Aziz is an individual who seems at times a touch weird or eccentric to others, as he has spent so long being distant from much of humanity that he's not entirely certain what is deemed as proper conduct when among them in these modern times. As such, he tends to feel rather quite out of place when in the public eye. Aziz is very loyal to those who have earned his trust, respect, and oath of guardianship. If he gives you his loyalty, it is for life. Unless you have done something to corrupt and break that trust, he will be a stalwart companion and guardian to you. He can be quite stubborn, wanting to do things his way and at his pace; whether it is faster or slower than one would like. If he has set his mind on something, it takes a lot to turn him away from it. And even if you seem to convince him to go along with what you want, he'll still try to find ways to slip his own methods in.
Aziz is finicky about his appearance, and constantly desires to present himself in a neatly groomed manner. It's not that he loathes getting dirty, he just doesn't want to look disheveled and homeless when he has to be a "dignified and noble guardian". Yes, he's basically just vain. Aziz is one to do what he wants when something strikes his fancy, and he can at times incite conflict by accident (and, at times, on purpose) because of this. He's frequently getting into things because he has an insatiable need to know everything there is to know about where he resides, and he gets so excited by the potential of mysteries and secrets. Aziz tries to present himself with a calm and dignified air, but he can't always keep it up when something gets his attention or riles him up.

Parents: Heba and Karim (mother and father, deceased)
Siblings: Mostafa (brother, deceased)
Other Family: None
Important Others: Whomever he has dedicated his life to in service as a guardian and protector. Currently, this is Dean Winchester and associates.
History: Aziz was born during the middle of Amenhotep III's reign over Egypt, during the year of 1371 BC in Thebes. He was born with a twin brother who was identical in all aspects save for the color of their fur. Where Mostafa had a pelt as golden as the sun, Aziz's fur was black as midnight with hidden rosettes that show only in the strongest of light. It was a rich time, filled with a booming and stable economy, an outpouring of art, and considerably minimal military activity. Aziz's family had been guardians to the pharaoh's family since they had taken to the throne over a century before. He spent his days exploring the temples and palace of Thebes, following Mostafa through all manner of trouble-making. The two were practically inseparable, and enjoyed messing around with the servants of the palace. This often involved games where they utilized their nearly identical voices to confuse those they were playing with. They were given the duty of keeping watch over Amenhotep's children, at their parent's discretion in the hopes it would help them understand their duty to the royal family as guardians. For Aziz, it did temper his youthful wildness. He took the duty of keeping the kids safe seriously, and encouraged his brother to do the same. It took a little for Mostafa to follow suit, but they both took up the mantle of guardian with instinctual ease. Aziz was an avid learner, and listened to the teachings of both his parents, and those of the palace scribes, with earnest. He was quite happy with his life as it was, knowing really only what could be considered peace.
But, as with all things regarding humans and time, change was imminent. Amenhotep III's reign ended, and he was succeeded by his son Akenhaten. The first few years of his reign were much the same as under his father, and Aziz and his family kept their same routines. But at one point he began to change things, bringing a religious focus to only one god, Aten, and moving the capital to Tell el-Amarna. Aziz and his brother were sent to follow Akenhaten and his wife Nefertiti, by order of their parents. Aziz and Mostafa guarded Akenhaten loyally, as was their duty. Mostafa rather enjoyed the changes being implemented by the Pharaoh, but Aziz could only feel unrest. He could feel that the young king was changing things far too quickly for his people, and on top of that the king allowed the economy and military to decay, with corruption putting in deep roots and discontent spreading amongst the region. Aziz began to grow more emotionally distant, as his efforts to guide the king back on track had no effect. And having once been so close to his twin, he felt a divide growing between them at Mostafa's continued support for Akenhaten. It wasn't long before Akenhaten's reign ended with late compromises to placate the people, estrangement from his wife, and then death. Aziz and Mostafa briefly served his successor, before they were dismissed from service. The reason they were given for the dismissal as guardians to the king, was that many were wary of them, and many also didn't trust them. Some even blamed the changes Akenhaten had tried to implement on the sphinxes, saying that they hadn't tried hard enough to make him see reason. What kind of guardian would allow their ward to drive their kingdom to disrepair. Aziz was baffled by the treatment towards them, and left to return to his parents side with Mostafa. No one wanted the service of a sphinx who had protected a heretic.
As no one wanted the guardianship of the loyal sphinxes, they turned to guarding the tomb of their former king Amenhotep III as Egypt labelled Akenhaten a heretic and eradicated most of his memory from their records. Centuries passed, and in that time Akenhaten's city was abandoned, Thebes was razed to the ground and later stones from its temples were pulled to another city by Rameses II for his work. Forgotten by time and history, Aziz watched as both his parents fell to their despair over the loss of someone to protect. After they had died, he and Mostafa were alone in guarding the tomb. It was a long stretch of time; time that left the two oblivious in the changes occurring around them. Finally, Mostafa could no longer handle it. He had slowly succumbed to depression over the centuries, slowly beginning to go insane. The day he tore his heart out was a day that Aziz felt something in his own heart break. His brother, once so strong and noble, had promised Aziz that they would weather the years together. And now, he had broken his promise and left Aziz utterly alone. The remaining sphinx fell into a year-long period of grieving, before he decided it was time to leave the tomb that had been his home for centuries. The sphinx set out into the desert, not looking back once as he trudged forward into new lands.
As he walked, he felt his grief begin to lighten as he realized he had so much to see and explore. Holed up like he had been, Aziz now felt that he had missed much over the years. And perhaps there would be someone out here who would accept his service. The thought brought renewed strength to his paws, and he continued his journey with renewed purpose. He eventually found himself in a bewildering new land, with plant and animal life the likes of which he had never seen, and even new seasons that he had never experienced. And as overwhelming as the amount of green life was around him, the town he came upon and its residents absolutely astounded him. Humans had changed so much since his days in the palace, and their technology continuously baffles him. He spends his time creeping through the shadows and learning what he can of this new place called Zeppelin City, figuring out what he has to do to pass as human in this strange muddled town. To his delight, he found that there is someone in this town worthy of the service of a sphinx; the town mayor, a man named Dean Winchester. Now, he just needs to find a way to convince the interesting human to allow him to serve. Aziz doesn't yet feel terribly comfortable in a human form, so when he is not planning to interact with or otherwise operate in sight of humans, he keeps to his original sphinx form and keeps himself well hidden.

Humming cheerfully, the lad carefully laid the pastry dough into the pie shell. After pressing it into the pan snugly, he took the pot from the stove and scooped out the chicken mixture into the pie dish. Setting the pot down, Tony grabbed the frying pan next to it and poured the gravy over the chicken, smiling happily. Next, he rolled another pastry circle over the top and pinched the edges to seal it. Making a few nicks in the top, Tony grinned and quickly pulled together a second pie. One just wasn't enough to feed everyone. Once both were made, he tucked them in the oven and washed his hands, before leaning against the counter. He pulled his phone out and set a timer, before pulling up a video on youtube about creepy reddit posts. He set his phone on a clean part of the counter and listened to the video as he cleaned up the kitchen and washed dishes.
Once that was done, he grabbed his phone and flopped on a couch in the living room, plugging in earbuds. He idly checked the timer every now and then as he watched his videos, nestled in his usual spot. When a half hour had passed and his alarm had cheerfully chirped, Tony rolled off the couch gracefully and slid over to the oven. Upon inspection, the pies met his approval and were set to cool on the counter.
"Oh damn these smell good." he murmured to himself, mouth watering at the smell of the chicken pies. The lad pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose as he made his way to the laundry room to check on the progress of the wash, switching loads over before grabbing a basket of clean clothes, taking them to the living room to fold. Lord, he was so happy right now from getting everything done that he had planned to for the day.
