Info So Far: His family has always been one to live off the land, following methods and traditions passed down their family generation after generation. Red took to the hunting like it was second nature, finding that being out in the woods like so was a way that calmed his mind and heart, and gave him a break from the pressures of modern society. He was always a lone wolf, and from a young age displayed a deep respect for the earth and the natural world. He became disillusioned with society and the way it treated the land, and from this came a life long bitterness towards his peers.

As he grew older, he became more and more skilled at survival under the watchful eye of his parents. Family trips always excited him greatly, but sometimes he had to stay behind and watch his brother Tayen while his mother and father went out by themselves. They were well trained explorers, but one day nature bested them. While exploring a cave system, there was a collapse that killed them both. Their bodies were never recovered, and Red suddenly found himself the sole caretaker of Tayen. He had to finish growing up fast, but being as resourceful as he was, Red managed to take care of the both of them...fairly well. He is often distant and cold to everyone he meets, even his own brother despite how much time they spend together when he is in town. 

When they arrived in Zeppelin, Red became even more distant. Once he was satisfied that Tayen had a...marginally safe place to call home, Red went into the woods and created a home for himself. He attended school just enough to pass, but he really cared very little for it. He has spent the last few years living off the land through his hunting and fishing skills, coming into town every now and then just to pick up supplies he can't get out in the woods, and to check up on his brother. His only constant companion is Rowtag, a karelian bear dog whom he got to aid his hunting just a few months before arriving in Zeppelin. Red knows the woods like the back of his hand now, and makes sure he is ready for anything the place tosses at him. At least, he hopes he is prepared.

Because he could care less about school, he didn't go to prom that day that Cyrus attacked the town, and thus completely avoided the disaster that claimed so many lives.
