Hello and welcome to the fourth season of Big Brother: Zeppelin City, produced by multimillionaire Isaiah MacIntyre. In order to sign up a character(s) to be a part of this hit show that will air throughout the town; you will have to fill out a questionnaire as them and PM it to me. Unlike the past seasons, your characters will not be unable to be played in the normal roleplay while in Big Brother. However, that said - you will not be allowed to roleplay with any other characters who are in the Big Brother house with you until it’s all over. That means if Dean and Sam were both in the house, then they would not be able to roleplay until it’s over. The events in the Big Brother house will not be official until the season is completely over… That means all events that occur in the show are not a part of the roleplay until we end it.
A character, at any time, can choose to evict themselves and leave the Big Brother House. Doing so will make them ineligible for any special future seasons. An application reviewing process has been created to cast the participants. This is to help us form an interesting cast to help (hopefully), create a more dramatic and interesting season. You are allowed to send in an application for however many characters you want. You can have two characters chosen by producers to participate, and a third/fourth may be possible if you wish; if there is room in the house. However the amount of auditions sent in will determine whether or not you will be able to have more in the house. If you do not want more than two or only just want one for example but send in multiple applications, just make sure you tell me so that we don’t cast more of your characters than you wish.
If we end up needing a third character for players to play, then we will choose them based on the already formed cast. Even if you only want to play one character in this season, please do your best to submit a few applicants if possible. You will be expected to play fairly, and roleplay your character and make choices that they would make. Example: If Dean and Azazel are in the house together and Azazel goes up for eviction, of course he is going to pick him to go. Please do not use your characters to cheat to get another character further in the competition. If cheating is caught, it may result in an immediate eviction and the character(s) will be ineligible for future special seasons. Angels and demons are not permitted besides rare cases, such as a purified demon or a fallen angel(etc.). It’s just case specific, so just ask me to see if yours is eligible.
Another element this season will be “Sudden Ice Breakers”. These are just mini game events that take place in character to encourage roleplaying and relationship development. They happen spontaneously, hence the “Sudden” part of the name. Not being present for these is fine, though you will most likely want to be. Characters who win the Ice Breaker will be given 50 SP alongside whatever other prize they receive.
You will be expected to keep up with the competition and cast your votes when required. Inactivity will result in a skip if you have not voted during an eviction. You will receive a strike each time that you take too long to respond. The third strike will result in an immediate eviction. If you are Head of Household and take too long choosing your nominees, then the next person with the highest score for the last challenge will become the new HoH and you will get one strike. Again, three strikes will result in an immediate eviction.
A typical “BB Week” consists of 5 rounds.
Round 2: No competitions for 24 hours. Use this time for roleplay and to build relationships. It’s likely that during these periods that Sudden Ice Breakers may take place.
Round 3: Power of Veto Competition. Sometime after the 24 hours for round 2 are over, a PoV will be declared. Winner must decide whether or not to use the Power of Veto. If the PoV is used, the HoH must immediately name a replacement nominee.
Round 4: No competitions for 24 hours. Use this time for roleplay and to build relationships.
Round 5: Sometime after the 24 hours for round 4 are over, votes will start to be taken. Do not submit votes in before they are being taken. Vote to evict one of the nominated house guests. Eliminated Houseguest will be revealed as soon as possible after the choice has been made.
Round 6: New HoH competition begins and cycles through again starting back at Round 1.[/ul]
The way our Big Brother competition will work is that 16 characters will all be thrown in the Jefferson Boarding House outside of the city. They will be locked inside without any communication from the outside besides “Big Brother” who will talk to them over intercoms and monitors. Every week a new challenge will take place, the winner becoming the Head of Household. This gives them the power to nominate two other houseguests up for eviction. After they have made their nominations, another challenge will be done with the HoH and nominees, along with random other houseguests. The winner of this challenge will gain the Golden Power of Veto. This allows them to choose one of the nominees to be removed from the eviction block, forcing the HoH to choose another houseguest to take their place. They can also use the Power of Veto on themselves if they win. The winner of the PoV is not required to remove a contestant from the eviction block if they do not wish to. At the end of the competition, the final two will be voted upon by a jury of the most recent 7 houseguests to be evicted from the house. The jurors will all vote for who they want to win out of the final two.
Challenges will not be roleplayed within the chat, that is reserved for character development and drama. Instead, once the cast has been decided you will be asked to choose their stats which will aid them throughout the competition. You are given 15 points, and you must split the points between six attributes. Agility. Strength. Endurance. Intelligence. Willpower. Luck. During each challenge, the admin will roll a 20 sided die that will help decide how well your character did in the challenge. Meaning if it’s a physical challenge and your character has 3 points in Strength, then they’d get a +3 to their strength rolls. The characters with the highest numbers after each challenge will be declared the winner. When putting the points into your character’s stats, be sure to be realistic and true to the character. For example if your character is a frail, petite person then they wouldn’t have a +4 to their strength.
You are also able to take a point from something else to add it to another stat, meaning you could go into the negatives in order to raise something else. As long as it all adds up to 15 in the end, just be careful as negative numbers will affect your rolls and could result in your character losing.
Example:
Agility: 2
Strength: 3
Endurance: 5
Intelligence: 4
Willpower: -1
Luck: 2
First come first served. Allowed 2 characters at first, if no one else is joining and there is a possibility a third character may be added into the cast, but if there are too many players then it's possible only one will make it in. This will heavily be determined by the number of apps put in. Any spots not filled will be taken by a NPC.
